Well Wizards remembered for March of the Machine. Alara isn't looking great and I have this weird feeling that Esper is danger of being compromised or has already been compleated.
I favor black but I've always had a fondness for Naya. I typically don't blue green/white decks, but with Naya I can make an exception. I love the warming passion of Naya over the cold peacefulness of Bant.
Wow. For some reason.... I think I'd like to visit this Shard.... seems like a nature photographer's dream... assuming you don't get eaten by something.
While Bant is my favorite actual shard lore wise, Naya is my favorite combination of colors. I always wondered what Wizards of the Coast would do if they revisited the idea of these specific combinations but instead of letting it be the idealized form of what a certain color wants (the shards) or twisted from that color's specific utopia, (the crime families of New Capenna) if they gave another color of that combination the lead from the outset. (so for a hypothetical example a white led Naya leading to a civilization similar to Bant but contrasting Bant by being more passionate, zealous and freedom loving)
Thank you for this! Alara is one of my favorite planes and I really hope we get to revisit it after March of the Machines. I feel like a Phyrexian invasion is definitely something that would bring together a shattered world. This was well done :') Can't wait to see the video for Esper. It was the shard I played when the set came out and I've loved that combo ever since.
Such a gem of a series! Love it. Plus alongside Jeskai, Telmur and Bant, Naya is the most appealing combination to me. And I don't know, but that "second stage" magic card design plus the the Alara themes feel like maybe the climax of MTG design and flavor history. Especially the gold cards IMO. Mayael is pretty hard to match I think. Though Lorwyn has many arguments in its favor to be frank. Great chan to say the least. Cheers!
I love that with all the phyrexian content that is topical right now, you are here making content on Alara. It’s good, there’s too many channels doing phyrexia right now. And the shards of Alara are my favourite plane.
I love these videos so much, of all the lore channels I listen too you guys are the best. No BS, no cheese jokes, solid videos that keep me enthralled. Can’t wait to listen to Grixis and Bant
I really love this theory. You've got solid ground with the Zalfir time-bubble thing. The Phyrexians are like... Magic's oldest Villains. Theyll be back eventually. Same with Eldrazi. Same with Bolas.😅
Naya is a very cool world, I don't think there's a single card from Alara that I don't enjoy and Wayne Reynolds' style is just perfect for Naya. If only Swanland could paint every Jund card, Reynolds could paint every Naya card, and Baxa could paint every Grixis card.
Y would u use a plains n mountain that aren't from Naya to showcase the demi plane? The Naya plains r clearing surrounded by jungles n the mountains r covered in lush jungles n loom almost identical to the forests. The plains (tho it is possibly my favourite plains ever) is from Esper n the mountain is from Jund. Kinda shows people a misleading esthetic of the demi plane of Naya
I want a new Alara set so bad. But knowing Wizards nowadays, the story will be entirely about something that only tangentially relates to Alara and move on as soon as the planeswalkers are done there.
You did a really great job in describing and explaining these planes for us. 👍 The only thing that I can comment beside that is, I think maybe you can slow down the rhythm and pace of describing. It feels like you're in a hurry or rush to the end of the script. And sometimes the listener can't catch up to the pace and feels somewhat tired due to the focus they have to concentrate on. Take a look at other Mythology Explained channels, or maybe Magic Arcanum for an example. They're doing great work similar to you, explaining things and enlightening us for knowledge, which we really appreciated. But their way of talking is not that fast, it feels like they are easy talking to a friend on a holiday. And that calms the listener and keeps them interested in the video. It would not cause any harm to slow down and give the listener a time to process the sentence, paragraph or information you explained before, to keep them interested. Thank you. And keep fighting 👍❤️😁
Appreciate the feedback! Always looking to improve content and narrative delivery is something I've been trying to work on, I'll look into those channels for sure
Can you do a Sheoldred Lore video. I really think that would be interesting to tell the lore of Miroddin from her point of view and her many relationships up till now.
I'm really enjoying all this love for Alara since Wizards seems like they completely forgot about one of their most influential sets.
Probably for the better tbh, I'd rather they let it be for, than exhume it for more nostalgia money.

Yes! Naya! Alara was the first block I played and Naya was my shard for the whole format.
So glad this is out! I got hooked on the Jund video and have been eagerly awaiting the rest of the shards of Alara. Great work!
Appreciate it and glad you are enjoying the series!

Naya was my first deck ever. I’ve been fond of it ever since
Holy cow man, this is pure beauty. Love this series!!! What next?? I want MOAR!!!!!
yay, finally the next part in this series

I recently made a deck with Naya colors so this is very fitting
Perfect timing, now get to stomping with those behemoths
@@TheLorebrarians and lots and lots of tokens

Really enjoy the videos! I’m hoping to one day see lore video on Garruk. He’s my favorite planswalker even though he’s out of the picture
This is so cool. Thanks for all the Alara love, I hope we go back someday!
Progenitus would make a great commander/addition to a hydra tribal deck.
Alara is one of my favorite planes. ❤
Godsire was amazing and it would be cool to see him compleated 😵
It would be even better to see all perfected
Can't wait to see you tackle esper
I hope one of the plains we see in March of the machines is alara. Always thought that set had some of the coolest looking cards.
I love these! I am waiting for grixis! My favorite color combination! 😁
Wow... THANKS FOR THIS !

yo, the next shard, thank you
Easily my favorite color combination
Wondering if you'll also do the triomes from ikoria..not sure how much lore there is for them but it'd be cool
I did a plane explained on Ikoria a couple years ago when it first came out if you havent already watched it, but it is a little dated.
Can you do a Sheoldred Lore video. I really think that would be interesting to tell the lore of Miroddin from her point of view and her many relationships up till now.
INB4: Mayeal: Compleated sage
Wish we could get some more massive Behemoth naya stuff instead of dog and cat tribal lol
these are great
You should try D&D lore !! It would be great!
I appreciate the suggestion! It's an IP I'm not too familiar with but seems rich with lore and awesome story potential
God I miss alara. Shame we’ll never see it again without being tainted by phyrexia
Naya had white, red and green mana.
rhox are bant
Bant could be pretty cool!
