- Our first completely gasless van! With LPG becoming harder to find our clients are now opting to get rid of it altogether. In this van we installed a huge electrical set up so that all the cooking appliances including an induction hob and airfryer are run off the electrical system. The heating is powered by the Truma D6e utilising diesel.
This is a Citroen Relay L3H2 conversion in our Milo dinette layout.

Off-grid set up with 460Ah Lithium battery, 3000w inverter charger, 540w solar, 2 DCDC chargers, Cerbo Gx, airfryer and induction hob. Ogo composting toilet, awning, electric step, pantry and shower.

Great vid.
I like everything about this van except that the induction is embedded in the counter. I have seen too many cracked ones from stuff falling on them. I think it's better use of space to take it out when needed and much safer too.

I love this gas less build plus having a diesel Truma combi boiler that can be used on shore power or van power also.
What was the cost of the electrical system please?
To change from a gas system to this system it costs approx £5k

Love this conversion. Out of interest, is there room for a twin passenger swivel seat in the front and for an Aguti folding/removeable seat to fit in front of the sink, for the occasions where you may want 4 travelling seats?
Thanks yes you could have a double passenger seat in the cab easily. The forth seat would be tight and also depends on the structures under the van as to if there is a suitable location for it to be bolted. We are doing this on our current conversion but it is a Kunu layout so there is more space in the doorway compared to this layout
Hi mate, what dimensions is your shower cubical? and what did you do for a shower tray?
Shower room is about 70x80cm, in this van it’s a fibreglass tray but we have just started using stainless steel trays👌
What relays are you running from CerboGX? I am guessing tank heater could be one? I live the idea but can’t find a practical use in my van.
Hi Rory, thanks for your comment. We are running the water pump and the multiplus trickle charger off of the two relays. We can remote switch these on/off via the VRM portal. The tank heater is definitely an option to consider as I could be trigger by the ruuvi external temp sensor.
@@vanlifeconversions you know there is a relay that can be remotely used in the Multiplus that you have? This is the one to use for trickle charger I was thinking. I have the same set up.
