  • Episode 29 - We follow the Michigan DNR as they stock one of the most remote lakes in Michigan; Mirror Lake in the heart of the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. See what it takes to get 3000 yearling splake out there in the winter. Then we join Corie Berrigan for an ice fishing trip for splake on another stocked lake in the Upper Peninsula, and try to bring a giant musky topside. And we catch a bonus fish!

I really enjoy the content you guys put out. As a Watersmeet resident, we don't get much Michigan television but I watch you guys every week.

Only Tiger Musky planted in that lake. Last plant was 1990. They don't live for 33 years. A big, immoveable fish in there had to be a lake trout.
