  • You’ve just completed a service on your Mirage, but you spy a little spanner on the instrument cluster that just won’t go away.
Here’s how you can reset the service warning light & remove the little spanner…..until next service.

Thank you! Took it to get serviced about 2000 miles ago, couldn't figure out how to get rid of it since lol

      Hey Caity Blue,
If you took it to be serviced by a mechanic, it should be done as part of the service.
I'm glad that the video helped.
      Thanks for your comment 😉

@@MiracleMAX honestly they had such a problem with the tire sensor I think they just forgot, and I assumed it would go off on its own since I've never had a car with one before. After that it seemed like such a silly thing to go back for lol

@@caityblue953 The Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems need to be reset whenever any work is done, just like the service light. If tyres are shifted from front to back, the computer needs to know it's new position.
There are so many systems that need to be recalibrated or reset, it can be easy to overlook one. Glad you were able to get it sorted. 👍

I own a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage (purchased new in 2014). This is the second time the ASC light has come on. The first time was two years ago and the dealership replaced the spark plugs and I was good to go. In doing my own research, I cannot determine that in fact the spark plugs had anything to do with the issue. Needless to say, I can press and hold the ASC Off buttom and that light comes on too, and the vehicle drives a bit better but I am not taking the chances of using the highway. Any advise would be helpful.

      Hey Karen,
ASC stands for Active Stability Control. This system helps with the braking/steering of your vehicle during certain conditions. When does the light come on? All the time or just at certain times? I would really need a fault code to be able to assist you further.
It could be something as simple as a faulty wheel speed sensor, low battery voltage or something more complex.

Are you doing it with the ignition turned off and when the lines appear?

@@shanepurtill6936 I have come across some that if they have not been cleared correctly the first time will only clear by a scan tool afterwards.

      Hey Tom,
That process should work fine. You may have to use a scan tool to remove it, but I would be surprised. What do you mean '21 there'?
