    My son owns a 2016 Renault Megane but has been driving my W203 around for the past few months because he loves it. When he drives the Megane his friends go "mnyea", but when he drives the Benz, it's "Wow man, you must be earning heaps at your new job, driving a Benz and all" It is a great looking Car and great to drive. and cheaper and easier to repair than anyone would guess. (and I'm no mechanic).

    Interior was the only change, led lights in and out, wheels, and bumpers. That’s it. These are reliable ..u WILL have to replace the ECU and Conductor Plate on transmission

      When do ECU and conductor plate tend to have to be replaced at what mileage

    • @PrinceSmithActor
      @PrinceSmithActor 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Jackson-u2zit’s random.. mine went out at 90k miles, you can hear it. It’s like a winding sound, and you’ll feel like you have less torque. The part is less than $300 I think

    Surely most issues are now known. My C180 has had a few minor probs but at 240,000kms it's expected. For a 17yo car it freaks me out vs some newer or even newish cars.

    Great car for travel but the most crazy car I have ever seen. Out of personal experience, the first most important part in this car is the battery. The second most important part is also the battery 😊... I hate it but yet love it.

    Merc dual opening center console is an idea taken from 1998-2011 Lincoln Town Car.

    You don't get the diesel versions in the U.S. Do you,half the reason to own one!

    • @ImeoTalksCars
      @ImeoTalksCars  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There is a Diesel for the E-Class, and Diesels typically get better Fuel Economy than the Gasoline counterpart.

    No offense, but your mom and sister should take better care of their cars. The wood trim was all scratched up and I saw gunk on the light switches. How do you get the light switches dirty?
    But then again, I'm a Mercedes lunatic. I have an '05 C220 and an '07 E420. They look like they just left the factory. I regularly wash my cars and provide the proper care for the paint to make sure it looks new and shiny. The only things that clutter my trunks are car detailing stuff, including special care products for the wood trim and the only things that sit in the center console are two makeup brushes for cleaning switches, air vents and other tricky areas without scratching anything.

    You think a Mercedes would be a good first car?

    • @ImeoTalksCars
      @ImeoTalksCars  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +Fam Howard Depends on the miles and condition as well if it's maintained right. My mom's 2003 C240 in my Comparison Video has held up well. No issues on it, just consistent on the oil change every 3,000-5,000 miles.

    • @thechampchamp3210
      @thechampchamp3210 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Imeo Talks Cars ok. What would you suggest for a first car? I only have $5,000 saved up

    • @ImeoTalksCars
      @ImeoTalksCars  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Fam Howard You can look at a Mercedes C-Class (just avoid high mileage), Infiniti G35 (just avoid fabric seats), Hyundai Sonata, Buick Lacrosse, Chevy Malibu, Chevy Impala, Saturn Aura, Pontiac G6, Scion tC, Dodge Stratus, Chrysler Sebring, Dodge Intrepid, Chrysler 300M, Chrysler 300C, Jeep Grand Cherokee. Just make sure the miles is not too high.

    Es más bonito el c 2001 2004 que el 2005 2007 por muchas cosas e incluso los motores más viejo también salen mejor , Mercedes desde el año 2005 hasta el 2012 han hecho basura , en 2013 con el clase c han recuperado terreno y bastante.
