This 100 days like video was heavily inspired by Garfilled's "I Survived [REDACTED] Days in the Backrooms in Minecraft" which was originally inspired by Luke TheNotable's surviving 100 days in Minecraft challenges. I do really like Garfilled's original take on the trend.

Error 422 is a creepypasta (like The Backrooms and SCP Foundation mods) about a "lost" version of Minecraft that came to life, and the creature named "Glitch" inside of it. This 1.16 / 1.17 hardcore survival mod challenge was insane. Not Minecraft, But Water Rises or Minecraft, But Lava Rises, or any other datapack challenge like that. This is Surviving up to 100 days in Minecraft but a scripted version of the trend.

There’s a simple explanation to error 422 a mistaken line of code which randomizes certain variables therefore changes block types, textures or lighting stuff, effects and enchantment level costs, visual effects and block generation etc.

The thing is (atleast to me), creepy things that are originally creepy, and are 100% intended to be as such, are, well.. creepy, yes, but not TOO creepy.. Like, not creepy to the point in where you get beyond terminal paranoia or something like that. However, when something that's barely ever creepy or isn't supposed to be, via Minecraft, aside from the cave sounds and Elder Guardian Jumpscare(s), all of a sudden becomes creepy, thats what sets me on edge. For some reason, when things that aren't supposed to be literal Creepypastas, such as kids shows, E 10+ games like Minecraft and such, hell, anything non creepy in general, become creepy, that's just.. well, creepy. It's kind of hard to explain, there's probably a phobia for it, but non creepy things suddenly becoming creepy just unnerves me extremely.
Yea exactly like when you're playing single player and your in a plains biome with no animals, just grass, and yourself, it feels really creepy and unsettling, like something is watching you or following you, and you can never shake the feeling. Just completely destroys me how this happens.

I did some research on 'Error 422'. If I am correct, this version was meant to be released between version 1.8 and 1.9 of Minecraft. This easily makes sense due to the old looks of the boats before 1.9 and and addition of steak in 1.8.

i found out the article that had the intro and a list of effects that can happen to you. here are the effects:
what will happen to you in the game?
Adds more experience.
You get pushed and don't take damage.
It can also happen when during the day it is activated at night.
You get random effects.
When you break blocks, either lava or water may appear.
When you put blocks, it can replace another block like a diamond block, pumpkin or even a command block.
Lightning strikes in clear weather.
When you find yourself in the desert you will see flying cacti.
Even in the swamp, you will see flying water lilies and a dry bush.
When you plant seeds you will see flying seeds in the air.
When you create this world, Steve will not have a head or he will have a head.
When you craft items it can replace other items like redstone blocks or bread.
You will be sent a message like this in the chat.

A screamer may also pop up.
Glitch or Err422 (whatever you want to call it) When an Entity appears in front of you it can kill you it is impossible to escape and kill (if you have a bed, you can safely respawn).
The entity can crash you from the game, first the entity appears in front of you in a distorted sound glitch, then a big red symbol will appear in the chat and then the game crashes.

Yeah, on day 2 when you sleep the beds explode. Also the game observes you on day one so it can do the scariest stuff later. I love how you just brush everything off though, you're tough.

9:03 That's Entity 422 (or Entity ERR422). It appears with a weird and scary noise that can drive you mad. No matter how much health you have left or how much armor you have, it still 2-hits you. I think that (along with the psycho effect that you experienced when mining for the first time) is the scariest thing in ERR422

I actually decided to install 422 myself. It actually corrupted and recognized all my original Minecraft worlds and every time I would try to load into said world(S) it would either crash or send me super high or low into the game.

I remember when I was on the normal ps4 minecraft edition and when I was playing a normal survival I never really noticed that there wasn't any trees and the bioms where the plains and the desert and I also had cheats and it was when I had no ps plus so I had no choice but to play in single play the edition was 1.14 the aqua update and I was exploring in creative because I was looking for a forest and I noticed something when I did a little later I was exploring out of the forest and I saw a cross mark filled with water and cobblestone I deleted it immediately I never really thought that the other console editions would have scary things also i didn't look at the seed so sorry but if you have the editions button on ps4 go exploring if you can I can't because my disk broke and I got it on the ps4 store but no editions sadly
