I purchased a Carrera Cross fire 2 years ago from Halfords, and it has been absolutely fabulous. Sadly, the handlebar computer failed on 1887 miles, so took it back in for repair, JUST inside the 2 year warranty time limit 3 weeks ago. Bosch authorised replacement after diagnostics were carried out in the shop, and just got it back yesterday, and they've managed to re-set the mileage counter on it! So the cake I bought to celebrate my 2000th mile will be used in celebration this week now after all. 🍩(new one, as I scoffed the other one before it went stale.) I do cycle old railway trails, and the tyres have to be treated with caution on muddier sections, as they are not the best for off roading, but with caution, adequate. I love electric ASSIST bikes as much as I despise EV's, oh, and to all those that CLAIM they are 'cheating', they most certainly are not. You have to pedal, or they stop, and I know there is no way on this planet I'd have ridden 2000 miles (nearly) in 2 years on my mountain bike. Lost weight, and feel fitter and happier with myself as a bonus consequence too. 10/10 Lee.
It might be best to check about taking it on a train. The trains down here don't allow bikes on at certain times. And then only if they fold. E-scooters are banned at all times.

I did enjoy this, this is definitely more of my style of bike. I agree with you about the thinner tires. That display looked nice but that's not an LED display. It looks like an LCD display with an LED backlight. The helmet was cool too. Curious to see how much it would be in the US. I think all these bikes should include a mount for cell phones, maybe with built in wireless chargers. Maybe they can actually make one of these bikes that uses your existing cell phones the main info panel while you're riding the bike. They could transmit telematics to the phone via Bluetooth.
I've been cycling since I was a kid, it's great for shorter journeys and a good way to stay fit. E-bikes are fun, but I don't think I'll switch to one until I get old and need the extra help. I'm only 55, so that's a few years away yet. 😁
Yep, bikes are great for getting about in NICE weather, no much fun in the rain though lol. I have a few ebikes fro different occations and we share one car between us, 1 a fold up bike that goes in the boot of the car ( useful for taking car to garage lol ) 2 a hub drive mountain bike with hydrid tyres that work well on the road as well as ok off road 3 a full on mid drive ebike with off road tyres for serious off road fun but like you say on the road its not the nicest.
Good video the bike is more or commuting /hybrid bike and the motor is on wheel not on the crank like most e-bikes the all helmets are made to standard I’ve few full face and a normal mtb helmet and a road helmet I’ve done 58 mph on my road which will faster than a any e-bike we can also tank along in a bunch at 20mph if need proof of my doing I can send you a video abd my strava record

If everybody who parked a car at the railway station and then commuted by rail to their destinations decided to carry a bike on the train it would be total bedlam. I still remember bicycle sheds at the railway station where commuters would hang and lock their bikes before commuting by rail. People used to cycle alot in Sydney. If Ebikes are to form part of the transport landscape then pre automobile infrastructure needs to be restored (and improved). It's all back to the future. Remember the Raleigh Grifter Lee ? Now that was a proper bike! Far safer than the Chopper which had that dodgy 2nd slip gear lever which would result in you whacking your nuts on the crossbar and cartwheeling into a neighbours hedge. You do come across as a bit of a mature student on this bike to be fair. Your legs pedaling look like AI interference was involved? Weird looking. Still, at least your oxygen levels were in tact and you didn't have to speed dial the AA to rescue you from your mode of transport, you big girl's blouse! 🤣
Glad you recognised that the Welsh speed limit applies to Bikes as well. I have seen Car morons moaning if you drive at 20 mph you will be overtaken by Bikes. This is because they are to stupid to know the law.

There are other videos on how to get an "invisible selfie stick" I think it is done using a 360 degree camera and the way set it up on the stick and then edit the film so it is not seen.

They are all, at some point going to want a phone, TV, computer. What powers these? Electricity. Now those wretched electric cars which are just about useless. But they must drink electricity. The saddle appears to be very high from the main frame understand depending on height however appears out of sink with rest of bike which looks good ❤

Insta360, it hides the stick as its narrower than the camera body.
I've had the regular T1 with crossbar for about 6 months. Great bike.
