Great video, I just bought one, so I was looking up videos. The accelerator is the throttle, and it makes the motor activate without peddling, which is illegal to use in the UK. That's why it's optional, so use it wisely.
Also you can change the max speed up to 32 km/h or ~20mph (max legal speed is 25km/h or 15mph) and speed unit to MPH if you hold down the plus and minus button.
Useful info thanks for that
How do you change the max speed?
Thanks ❤very useful info
Some youtubers report punctures, mainly on the rear wheel. The problem with these punctures is that the head of the spokes injure the inner tube. It is necessary to put a protective strip in the rim (a few euros at Amazon) and the problem is solved.
Thanks Dan & Mazzy for sharing another great review,l thought it was funny when you were putting the light on backwards , but as always being a expert as you’re you were just testing us to see if we knew that you were doing it right 👍
When riding a bike, dont have the seat height so you can touch the floor, this is not good for your joints, have your pedal at 6 o'clock foot flat on your pedal, leg slightly bent, then you should be sitting on your saddle, it will also feel better when riding (I'm a keen mountain biker ) great vlogs, been watching for years( before covid times)
Thanks for the info.
Hi Guys great review but a quick note, to set your seat height your leg should be straight with your heel on the pedal so that when you pedal with the ball of your foot you have a slight bend in your knee. This is more efficient and helps against future knee problems. Cheers
really enjoyed your video, sir :)
Great review Dan. That looks a superb bike and I'm very tempted to order one 😊
Go for it!
Great review, it's certainly a good looking bike and not expensive compared to other's that are on the market!
Thanks! 👍
Hi Guys,
Paul and I have been following you for years even when you did your metal detecting way before the motor homing. Please get in touch we live on a narrow boat and own a motorhome and shared experience could benefit us all. Ignore the keyboard warriors, you are both amazing, just think of the negativity as that time in your life when you have become famous! Celebrity status will always get the envious to crawl out the woodwork xxx
Lol we have no interest in being famous.
@@TravelTrollsTV Your too late! 🤣🤣
Hiya dan. I’m just wondering how you found the resistance on the pedals especially if you went up any kind of hills. Did you find it was like a workout or was you puffed out at all. I’m thinking of getting one but got a heart condition and wondering if it’s a good idea.
Ps keep up the great content!!
I found the whole ride effortless and really comfortable. Probably easiest lve ridden.
Lovely video, well done putting that bike together Dan👏
Thanks 👍
Great video. So clear.
Hey Dan and Mazzy, love the content. nm is newton-metres, its a unit of torque. 😊
Thanks for the info!
I'm 6ft, will this bike be big enough for me to ride comfortably.
Yes because lm 6ft.
Great video!
Love the bike
Me too!
Very awesome bike. Enjoyed the review. ❤
Thanks! 👍
The stem is the bit between the handle bars and the forks the battery is in the downtube
Mazzy give Dan the camera and you build the bike, you know more than he does. Lol. 🤣😂
Nice bike! Dan, I think you have the seat to low even thou you didn't have Mazzy videoing you seating on it. With you're butt on the seat,You're leg should be straight down when you're foot is on the lowest peddle.
Loved this review. You answered so many questions I had from how easy it is to assemble a bike like this to how to operate it. I would feel more comfortable if it were a three wheel bike so I wouldn't tip over. Lol!
Glad it was helpful!
Great review the bike looks really good
Thanks 👍
Look👀👀👀 at you Dan,, brand new bike put together & Test run😮 I'm afraid instructions have that effect on me can't be asked. It was alright until kids came a family B, party & found the remainder Skayletric in my garage oooooopppps never live it down 👎 well done Review & Vlog 🤞
Stupid question, how do you turn on the headlight?
With the light button.

Hello Im interested to Bay this Bike Wher is This Bike Made In Europ or Chine any Info ? thanks

Nm means nuton metres Dan love the bike .
Send it my way 😆. Another good video.
As long as you do the work by pedalling, an ebike can go as fast as you can manage. UK speed limits such as 30mph or even 50mph, don't apply to bikes, although if you exceed them you could be charged with dangerous or careless cycling under s28 and s29 of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
You can't do the work by pedalling. The assisted electric bikes will not go any faster than 15mph no matter how hard you pedal.
I own a cube acid 2019 e-bike and not had it chipped to go faster than 15.5mph how ever the law is as long as the motor stops assisting you at 15.5mph you can go faster by pedalling harder in gear 6 when assist has stopped and I peddled hard it went to 20mph I have 9 gears on my bike which top gear I got upto 50mph under my own pedal power this is when I first got the bike I have not been in gear 8 or 9 since as felt it was too fast this is on a hard tail mounting bike with of road tyres I have a mid drive so motor is where the pedals are instead of in the front or back tyre rim which makes it easier for repairing or replacing an inner tube if you have a puncture
good vid thanks lee
Is the thumb switch on the right not a dead mans handle?.
No
Hi ya both where was this campsite you was on ? it looks very nice overlooking the sea ❤️
It's a pub. Ship inn in Sewerby, Bridlington.
Thanks I will have a look for it
Bike looks fantastic, unfortunately outwith my budget, but it is reasonably priced for what you get.
I will have to keep pedalling 😂
Very nice.
