Man this is amazing, its rare to find videos that go in depth with Aphex Twins music with clear and concise explanations. Lots of tutorials chalk his music up to being random or just throw in a bunch of drums and pads, but you have the skill to break down the intricacies of how the synthesizer is used and how to produce that natural analogue feel, Your awesome thank you!
@@SocialGoreYou are wrong. A music producer can be a person who; writes, composes, arranges and does all the sound design. You are thinking of a different kind of producer.
@@SungazerDNB No, people started using it that way because hip hop beat makers didn't know the difference. If you write, it's a writing credit. If you engineer, it's an engineering credit. There is a literal definition of a music producer. You're out of your element.
I am deeply impressed. Videos about music and production often times feel esoteric. You not only create great sounds, but actually explain the creation process in a very calm and logical way.
hey you are REALLY special, video is head and shoulders above the competition and your taste in aphex sounds is great btw. and i like your linnstrument.

Aphex the goat, love how you replicated some sounds off the Analords bro, Phonatacid best track out of the whole series! His sound on that EP collection is so skeletal yet so charming! Rich can make a synth sing
Bro, the way you gave that information was amazing. Concise and to the point. Don’t stop. It’s great to see BPOC producers on TH-cam teaching Music and sound design techniques. Well done. I look forward to seeing more.

crazy good video man. also thank you for not quibbling over the specifics and terms of your chosen synth engine. I feel so confident about translating this to phaseplant for my own purposes 👍
Fantastic video! You got my sub for sure. Quick, useful, to the point. Listening in the car and I’m gonna watch again and follow along when I get home!

Brother I have always wondered how he made the Fenix Funk 5 bass. It’s so nasty. Any ideas? I’ve been making music for 16 years and have tried many times but have failed. It sounds so vocal it makes me wonder if a vocoder was used

it looks like a linnstrument or something like that for the midi interface.

Producers don't mix or write music. They guide the artist and are a liason between the artist and the record label.
