for those who forgot everything he said and didnt write it down, (me, i had to re-watch the video lol) 1) Write down a Magnificant obsession statement and make a dream collage and look at your dream statement every morning 2) Start a 30 day procrastination free diet, everyday do something to win your willpower back 3) Workout at 5pm so you recharge your brain and you relieve stress to make your 2nd half of your day productive 4) Create a distraction free environment, clean and simple, (clean your room and be organized)
How many would actually get to gym (even HOME gym!) & start working out at 5a? I’ve been working out since 19 y/o (now 44 y/o) I did go to gym at 5a in college but almost no one there. How many professional-espec w/kids can do that? Seems to me to be the foundation which =set-up for failure NFG
I keep planning - fixed daily routine but if a little thing goes wrong as not expected I would get lazy and procrastinate the whole day.... This has been going on for two years and I'm aware of it every time. I've heard tons of motivational audio books, speeches. Read lots of books, and watched all the videos/movies they work but they last for only couple of weeks... And now I've understood motivation is bullshit. Believe me you know it, you just have to go the extra mile and you'll make the impossible, possible. If you want to get things done, you've to sacrifice and struggle like a war with yourself.. No matter what get the thing done keep going... Wish me luck, I've a long road to go.
Hey guys, it's been 9 months since the above comment. I want you to know that I am finally successful all thanks to my hard work, dreams do come true. Now it's your turn!
+TheUndisputed Hacker hey man I was reading your first comment and its like I was reading about myself. I also have this perfectionist mentality. What made you successful during this time?
This guy helped me into getting into a top uni studying medicinal chemistry. Now I'm entering my final year and I lost touch with goals and direction so I've done very poorly at uni, I need to literally be world class in order to get the average I need to go into business school, I'll update you all in a year, good luck to everyone in achieving their goals it's definitely possible
Talking about procrastination, I've been struggling with mine for the last 10 years and read countless books and self help methods. Here is what I'm having best results with. First of all, procrastination bulldozer method has worked wonders for me. I highly recommend you apply it. Secondly, whenever you have a task that takes less than 5 minutes to do, do it right away. No delays. I'm really starting to take control of my life now. :)
I'm walking down the same you as you Sebastián; I used Robin's lifestyle and goal orientation techniques. They helped me tremendously and I was accepted into medical school, however I to found myself loosing focus on what was important to me and just my overall drive. Time for us to get back on track and be the world class leader we always knew we were. Good luck bud
Zane Stenning I hope it's going well for you, at the moment I'm back in the 5am club and working my arse off like I used to, and I haven't felt this good in a long time, it'd be cool if you update us in the future
Sebastián I'm so happy for you man! Go for it, you've got all the tools you need to be a great success! I'll definitely keep in touch, sharing in each others' success is a great motivator! I've made my first 5am club meeting this morning and going to start the month long procrastination diet as well. Good luck
Hi Robin, You have literally changed my life when I had struggled. Your books are so inspiring and motivated me to become a author. I thank you for awakening a genius in me!
Thanks so much for this video. I'm currently in the fear stage, afraid to get out of my comfort zone because all of the distractions at my home and in my life. I'm trying to change that around.
I love you. You just spoke out everything i had in my mind, you basically listed put all my problems, all that is wrong in my life. I am a total mess, with very high class, out of league dreams. I am an OCD, a perfectionist, people keep telling me you cannot be perfect it is impractical to be perfect and it wastes my time. I am a medical student. I had a deadline of submitting file work, i crossed that deadline just to make all the diagrams look neat and perfect. I wasted my time on that which i could've utilised to study for my test which is tomorrow. I didn't study for the test and i was so stressed right now because of this that it made me nauseous. I have been a big time procrastinator and an overthinker, so much that getting into a medical school was a real struggle. And now i am writing this with the hope that you'd read this comment and notice me because now i am a fan (read one of your books but didn't know you're actually a great person, someone i wish to be) and because i couldn't vent this out to anyone as they'll either not understand me or just make fun of me that i did such a stupid thing. I was freaking out really and you calmed me down. No one till now could do that except my own self, but YOU did that today. I am grateful.

You are a source of inspiration Mr Robin Sharma. I keep watching your videos for inspiration, energy and focus. You are an awesome orator and helping millions across the globe getting closer to their dreams. I have experienced that "Stop procrastinating and see exceptional results".

Thanks so much Robin Sharma sir. From today onwards you will be my inspiration/mentor/hero/role model. All these days I used to be kind of stupid trying to emulate movie stars and sports stars. I used to think of them as my role models. This video taught me many life lessons. Than u so much sir. I will definitely follow the 5 steps and beat procrastination. I will work hard from today and 1 year from now I will look back and be grateful to you for changing my life. You make so much sense. What power!!. Respect sir. Great video! I spent the past couple months of my life procrastinating from school and not doing so well in exams and tests. My end of year exam is coming up and this really turned me around. Starting from today there will be no more Xbox no more Computers until I finish my work. Thanks alot this really turned me around and its slowly shaping me into a new person that is more productive and efficient!
Holy moly I have been doing this practice even before hearing about this ! Reading my life mission statement and visualing goals by looking at the picutures often. Thanks so much for sharing this tactic Robin.
I have been fighting this problem for long. People loose upon some golden opportunities, which could have changed their lives forever, for not making up their mind to take steps in lives. Sometimes consequences of procrastination may be life altering for the worse. And slowly the smoke of guilt of inaction start plaguing our lives.
I love the 30 day procrastination diet. I will make it my number one priority for the next 30 days. I also am going to tidy up in the morning! I feel so motivated.
Talking about procrastination and lack of willpower, I've been struggling with mine for the last 10 years and read countless books and self help methods. Here is what I'm having best results with. First of all, procrastination bulldozer method has worked wonders for me. I highly recommend you apply it. Secondly, whenever you have a task that takes less than 5 minutes to do, do it right away. firstly i want to thank my friend who gave me his novel 'Discover your destiny' . If we are procrastinators and have no way of beating it, than why not watch, listen, and learn how others beat it. Adopt these 5 simple steps and we just may be on our way to becoming very productive people. Great first video on Procrastination for me!
thank you so much robin for sharing such a wonderful techniques on how to manage our lives better by really being able to focus on our real goals. And i would really call it cntrl+alt+delt= meaning, controling our mind by alternating our focuss on teh goals that we want to achive and getting rid of ( deleting) what is useless thank you
Thank you very much for being there for me Robin. I have been paralyzed by procrastination for years. I have been given many valuable gifts to make people's lives much much richer, but I have been too stuck to share it, and it has been very frustrating. I would like to take Your Productivity Unleashed course, but I am living below the poverty line
I listen you speaking and have a question, for you or for anyone reading this.... don't you think that by setting goals and constantly thinking about the future, you miss the moment. The only time the person feels happy is the moment, you can't be happy if you're living in the future (and realizing that you don't have the things you want in that moment), when you see that pictures in the morning you feel like you are missing something which feels somehow constantly not good. Don't you think that by constantly living for the future, you miss the moment and the pure natural happiness and that if you spend a great part of your life in that state that it may be really bad?
I think you watch too much eckhart tolle or have a buddhist mindset. If we all lived in the present moment without creating goals in the life, we would be in a cave trying to understand how to make fire. The purpose of "living the moment" is just not to lose yourself in the infinite thoughts that appear in your brain. This doesn't mean you can't plan or use imagination. Thinking too much is bad, it doesn't work, for anyone, so focus on something else, your mind can't focus on 2 things. If you focus on something else, you won't think, if you focus on thinking, you wont focus on something else. That simple. Procrastination comes from thinking too much and not taking an action at all. Taking an action requires motivation... MY motivation is that i'm dying while doing nothing, so i have to do something. Also, give preference to "teacher/coach" that give information based on scientific studies with empirical evidence proving its value as truth. Note that i'm sharing my opinion which i don't have evidence to prove its true. It's my understanding of things.
Mr. Sharma, I just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU from Mauritius!!!! I started reading "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari" two months ago and this radically and profoundly changed my life!!!! I am currently working on your 10 rituals for a Radiant Living and it's just WoW!!!!!! Now I can say I am starting to live my life on my terms, the life of my DREAMS. I know that there is still a long long way to go for me, but I am not focussing on it. I am just focussing on becoming better and better each and every day! I don't know if you will see my comment, but THANK YOU LOADS!!!!!! Hope we meet soon in our Paradise Island Yogi Sharma! You can count on me to be legendary till then! Peace!!
robin Sharma is one of the best humble persons i ever seen, who is open to share his ideas and thoughts. come across your channel lately., however have been fond of your books. Salute and hats off Sir 😊🙌🏾
Great video - will be sharing. Thanks for the wisdom - I will be implementing all five strategies. Have already written my magnificent obsession statement.
You are a true hero sir. You words are very deep and powerful for me and it just passes a sweet sword inside me and makes think differently nowadays. I just love sir... Thank you...
Hi. Thanks for the video. Although I do get the point on visualizing one's goals, I have a question regarding the same. See, the things you talked about in this video are all materialistic goals- the big house, the cruise ship etc. But I've come to a point where I realize these are not the things which I need to be happy. I have some 'loftier' goals which I wish to achieve- I'm still searching for things which I'd love to do, I'd like to learn as much as possible and also be able to connect the dots between all the spheres of my learning etc. So my question is: how do I visualize these ideas, as they don't have specific images which stand for them, and also, using symbolic imagery might limit their definition? Regards -VInay.
Robin Wimmelbücker Hey- thanks! Yes I actually do make it a point to write down my feelings, aspirations, thoughts etc. But the point about death that you mentioned- true indeed! Yes, the realization of the inevitability death is definitely a motivator that can lead us to better appreciate the present moment and weigh our decisions regarding who we want to be and what we wish to do with our time. Thanks again for the advice. Cheers and a good life to you :)
Hi Vinay. Another note to add. Your will power in this kind of understanding can be related to memory as well. When you are gaining an understanding of something you are making connections in your mind. So when you are thinking of these good feelings you must also be able to see how they relate to you in all these different objects that seem to have no validity to you. I am going through this same problem as well where I am afraid to make certain connections or to do certain things because I am not being honest with myself about what it means. We are all afraid to change these things because we are afraid of what people might think about us. Don't be afraid to include these things in your dreams as you reduce the amount of connections you can make because you cannot see yourself in these things, and they are all part of you as a human being. It would be asinine to suggest if one was offered a free cruise on a yacht that he would not take it because he was too good for it. In everything you will only find the same. To say you will not, must not, make such connections in your life is filled with ego as well. Anything that must control other than take the path of least resistance. It would be like me saying I am not worthy of these things because of all the things I believe in I think that if I believe in this then it will make all these other things true about me. The fear of the lord is pure. Because it purges. The fire consumes your beliefs, the things we want to hold so dear that mean nothing. You are saying you are not worthy of these things. All our of egos in our beliefs battle in the constructs of our mind that we have created, but all made up ideas came from the same place. Do not believe more in the things that make you afraid of what you might see in yourself. Believe in the things that hold true, the suit does not make the man. The money, does not make you. Do not buy into beliefs that turn you against people that are the same. If you get rid of these beliefs the amount of connections your memory can make should increase. As they are no longer being restricted by the assumptions of things that cannot be more real than the experience itself. You would love to do all of these things, you are a human being. Do not let ego create a person in context with which you exist. You are all these things, do not forget
I really like your point. Right now I'm in a situation where I could care less about getting a new car, house, etc. I'm finishing up my masters degree in geophysics and I have a full-time job offer with an oil company as soon as I graduate. The problem is, I'm procrastinating my thesis and my family is depending on me to get done within the next month or so. Regarding your question, going to school has cost me valuable time with my wife and children. I prefer time with them over a fancy car and 6 figure salary so on my visual collage, I have picture of a father holding his son and another picture of a father spending time with his daughter. I have a picture of a graduation ceremony marking the end of a very rigorous and tiring degree plan. I have a tree symbolizing a new life ahead of me and the peace and stillness I hope to sustain moving forward. I am similar to you in connecting the spheres of learning, for that I would draw a picture of myself, or cut a picture out of someone teaching. I've found that nothing ties your learning together like teaching. Teaching people challenges you to keep ideas fresh and to constantly be open to new information. You will definitely need to use symbolism for your collages. Unfortunately we live in a very materialistic world where the BMW marks some sort of elevated social status. It would be easy to cut out a picture of a car representing some sort of material gain but the motives for achieving something like that are usual superficial and at their core, related to some sort of inferiority complex. There are people who are more interested in humility and selflessness, there are tons of images illustrating the development of those sort of character traits.
Mikael Thomas Hi Mikael. Thanks for your interpretation. Though I must tell you here that it is not a lack of self-worth that makes me not wish for these things, but a different perspective on life and lifestyle- I'm a visual artist, and I write as well. This video is all about gaining, and that too gaining materialistic things. I wrote this comment a while back, and since then, have made some progress. My priorities no longer lie with gaining, but rather creating and giving. Thanks for your comment though.
SheriffJohnStone Thanks for your comment and advice! I'm in my final semester in Master's as well! :D . Although I'm yet to embark on a family life, I totally understand what you're talking about. We all begin our lives with wishing to accumulate- we truly turn into adults only once the impetus to give, as well as create, starts overcoming this impulse to gain. I like your suggestions and ideas about the visualizations- I realize my ideas aren't lofty at all, and I can indeed pinpoint certain key themes and goals I wish to explore even though they don't have to do much with material gain. The imageries you suggested resolve the conflict pretty well. I shall try this with my goals too. Once, again, thanks a ton, mate. Cheers! :)
Robin Sharma you are excellent thank you for your contribution to uplifting our lives in the most powerful way. You are blessed beyond words. Wish you more bliss every day.
Butt people who wanted to stop procrastinating took their time to look this up and tried to find a way to stop . How is that procrastinating ? That idea crossed their mind and they ACTED on it . That could be one of the reasons why they are here .

Just look at this, the moment the video started, I went to comment section, best procrastination playground. And I will manically search for this video every few days to see if I got any likes.
Robin Sharma, Napoleon Hill, Jim Rohn, and Les Brown all helped me go from renting a room as a broke student, to a successful business owner with almost everything I wished for.
The 30-day willpower technique, and doing what you fear is something i've never heard or seen before, but it appealed the most to me. I'll be trying out these techniques. Thanks Mr. Sharma
Sir you've been a great inspiration to me, I've read many of your books and now you are now in my list of legends I wanna meet once in my life, and believe me I will!!! Thankyou for these great ideas, I sure will apply them.
Absolutely logical and amazing lesson. Robin has done his best by sharing this, and let's see if we make our collages and the 30-day list, do our exercises and so on. He never promised just watching the video will make us powerful, rich, confident - he showed the road that leads to that, and I am gonna do my walking on it. Thanks Robin!
Hi Vivek, you can also check our video on “Beat Procrastination & Stay On Track” at th-cam.com/video/34_CTuvflbs/w-d-xo.html In this episode, we uncover 5 of the most common challenges and solutions when it comes to procrastination. Diving deep into how it affects motivation, identity, clarity, and responsibility.
He has just nailed the facts and very helpful tips. Having to focus on a distraction free environment is on top of 'my' list now and realizing that some hidden fear is the root cause of procrastinating- I have bookmarked this vid.. Thank you so much.
sir, that video amazed me truly. thank you so much sharing this video. Having watched that it feels like I gained enough courage to beat ( not crush) my procrastination
You offer so much value!! Thank you Robin! Only yesterday I was reading about having a visual collage of my big goals from the book "Think and Grow Rich". You hit the point when you talked about procrastinating. I do that a lot, I am a student and I have so much fear around starting my projects, i end up procrastinating and feel like sh...t all day. It's like a carry a bag of guilt with me. So, I definitely have to go on a procrastination diet from today! Thank you for sharing!
for those who forgot everything he said and didnt write it down, (me, i had to re-watch the video lol)
1) Write down a Magnificant obsession statement and make a dream collage and look at your dream statement every morning
2) Start a 30 day procrastination free diet, everyday do something to win your willpower back
3) Workout at 5pm so you recharge your brain and you relieve stress to make your 2nd half of your day productive
4) Create a distraction free environment, clean and simple, (clean your room and be organized)

@Nicholi Baldron nope! it helps.
This video may be coupe years ago, but I love it and watch it every morning when I wake up. Thank you so much Robin Sharma!
It's your enthusiasm that really gets me going. I can see a better future for myself after watching your videos. Thank you, Mr. Sharma
What are you doing about it? It's not just thinking or visualizing your future. It's what you are doing today to create that future.
I love the 30 day procrastination diet. I will make it my number one priority for the next 30 days. I also am going to tidy up in the morning! I feel so motivated.
I put the 'pro' in procrastination ;)

Talking about procrastination and lack of willpower, I've been struggling with mine for the last 10 years and read countless books and self help methods. Here is what I'm having best results with. First of all, procrastination bulldozer method has worked wonders for me. I highly recommend you apply it. Secondly, whenever you have a task that takes less than 5 minutes to do, do it right away. No delays. I'm really starting to take control of my life now.,,,

And i would really call it cntrl+alt+delt= meaning, controling our mind by alternating our focuss on teh goals that we want to achive and getting rid of ( deleting) what is useless thank you
Starting 2021 off with this positivity!
Have homework to do. It's 11:30. Have to watch other youtube videos before this one. considering going to bed and finishing watching this tomorrow.
"Leave who you are and become someone new" Profound. I'm continously battling with my self-saborteur.
Your top priority right now should be finding a book 25 Money Secrets From Donald Trump, reading it will change your life, trust me
Thank you very much for being there for me Robin.
Donkeyy Kong
Very wise answer, thanks.
Yeah, thanks, Donkey Kong.

this video absolutely changed my life. completely. You are being used in amazing ways, Mr Sharma. Thank you!
Regards
-VInay.
SheriffJohnStone
Thanks for your comment and advice!
Cheers! :)
Robin you do excellent job!!!
Thank You for all yours words, who light my life pat.
Thank you so much, Robin, you're great person!

sorry, had to be said. in all seriousness, good shit Robin.
Butt people who wanted to stop procrastinating took their time to look this up and tried to find a way to stop . How is that procrastinating ? That idea crossed their mind and they ACTED on it . That could be one of the reasons why they are here .

The most ironic thing is most people watching this really have something more important to do that needs to be done sooner than watching this video
True! I could be mowing the lawn right now or paying the bills. Rather, I'm watching Robin tell me how to stop procrastinating.
exams are over, instead of watching a movie I'm watching ROBINsharma

Robin Sharma, Napoleon Hill, Jim Rohn, and Les Brown all helped me go from renting a room as a broke student, to a successful business owner with almost everything I wished for.
I only watched this video because I'm procrastinating... :/
The 30-day willpower technique, and doing what you fear is something i've never heard or seen before, but it appealed the most to me. I'll be trying out these techniques. Thanks Mr. Sharma
I like Robin but dislike this method of collage making, it will make a person loose his vital energy due to envy about what others have...
i want big things i was never anvy to someone. I kinda look at them at this way: thay have succeded and so can i
It is intresting
Great Video, thanks Mr.Sharma.People like you are benefiting billions across the globe.keep the good work up.

Look like Jeff Bezos
Absolutely logical and amazing lesson. Robin has done his best by sharing this, and let's see if we make our collages and the 30-day list, do our exercises and so on. He never promised just watching the video will make us powerful, rich, confident - he showed the road that leads to that, and I am gonna do my walking on it. Thanks Robin!
"95% of what's going on in your life is subconscious" - wwwww....where did you get that exactly ? haha
Read the book called the power of your subconscious mind
That's very true actually.
It's my birthday this week and what a great way to start my new year with the procrastination calendar! Thank you.
Practicality is the thing... And your lessons are full of practical knowledge and scientific studies.... I am learning a lot from you..
Thanks a lot🙏🙏

You offer so much value!! Thank you Robin! Only yesterday I was reading about having a visual collage of my big goals from the book "Think and Grow Rich". You hit the point when you talked about procrastinating. I do that a lot, I am a student and I have so much fear around starting my projects, i end up procrastinating and feel like sh...t all day. It's like a carry a bag of guilt with me. So, I definitely have to go on a procrastination diet from today! Thank you for sharing!
