Lack of funding for research had her losing hope I could hear it in her voice. Osteosarcoma killed my girl At 17. Diagnosed at 10. Their battle included the children of the future. They could only hope that other children would not have to go through it. My girl fought till the Last Week. She was hoping for a phone call saying there maybe a cure a new drug to try. She held out waiting for it. Thanks to Zach a child may receive that very call. My daughters contribution was the rebuilding of her leg more than once. Untill they got it right. They did. Her leg held. Brilliant surgeon Stans. Cancer came back 5 times. Lungs and hand. I wish they had met when they were alive. I'm sure they are riding the clouds together Zach and Melanie watching

I didn't know him, I never met him, but I knew he had a story to tell, and I thought the telling of his story was over. I'm happy to say I'm wrong. This was so beautiful, and yes, once again, I wept. I still grieve for Colin Wyckoff every year around this time. It's incredible how much a silly teenager with a weird sense of humor has continued to influence my life and personality. I only wish he could see how much he meant to so many.

I watch this video so often and bought the song on iTunes. I recently lost a childhood friend to brain cancer at the young age of 51. She was an incredibly selfless person, loved to dance and smile and I believe she's up there in the clouds with Zach dancing while he sings, their bodies now perfect, no more pain, their spirits around us all to remind us how precious life is.

I went to this even when I was 12, looking back I don’t remember how emotional it was but I didn’t even know Zach personally and I was crying the entire time. Such an amazing, beautiful event. Beautiful tribute, and it's very touching at the end when Zach's mom breathes a sigh of relief, as if saying "Whew, I made it through". God bless them all.

I was just reminded of this song and of zach, tho I dont kno how I couldv forgotten. his story was everywhere since I lived in the twin cities, on the local news channel to the local radio n even on national news. the first time I seen this video it made myeyes well upwith tears for Zacks family, however with his strong will and the ability to face his illness, I have bookmarked this page and still listen to it every now and then. It makes me think off how quick it is for a life to end due to an illness. On the other hand, those who face their illness and know it will soon take them and continue to live their life like Zack, and all that knew him, those who helped him live the rest of his time here with those he loved the way he wanted and asked is a Blessing. I'm glad someone has the same sentiment as me. Every day on this date I go through his videos and listen to this song. He's one of the most influential people of my life. And I really wish I would've been able to tell him that. Or will be able to tell him that someday, if that's how this life ends.

I watch this video so often and bought the song on iTunes. I recently lost a childhood friend to brain cancer at the young age of 51. She was an incredibly selfless person, loved to dance and smile and I believe she's up there in the clouds with Zach dancing while he sings, their bodies now perfect, no more pain, their spirits around us all to remind us how precious life is.
I will allways have this song in my life. Thank you so much Zack. I am such a better person for hearing this song and your story. What a marvelous light you are. This I think should be played every day. An I will honor you buy doing so. PEACE

my daughter Michelle passed away at 15 for osteosarcoma 4 years ago after a long battle with this cancer for 3 years she was a good and beautiful girl who will always live in my mind and in my heart, until we meet again..
I couldn't even began to imagine to imagine the pain that the parents went through as their child passed , but the song tells me the child was ready and in no fear. He definitely had God's faith with him!

This was an amazing event to be apart of. I'm really happy my choir director, Mr. Pontious agreed to direct the choir and bring as many of us from his choirs as he could. When we watched this video in class, most of us were on the verge of crying. This song and Zach's story have touched our hearts.

My sister died of cancer on December 16th. Her memorial was December 26th. This song was played at the very end of it. My heart goes out to everyone who has lost a loved one to cancer, and I'll think of this song every time I hear of another's death from cancer. Thank you, Zach.

I went to this even when I was 12, looking back I don’t remember how emotional it was but I didn’t even know Zach personally and I was crying the entire time. Such an amazing, beautiful event. His parents continued his legacy and raised money to help find a cure. I know he’s looking down, prouder than ever what his family has accomplished through his spirit 💖💖🙏🏼
I did not know Zach - never heard of him, but this song will be with me forever. What a great way to honor one beautiful boy and one beautiful life. May his parents find comfort in this wonderful performance.

I was one of the singers at this event. And I have to say I was in tears by the time we there done. It was honestly the most beautiful thing I have been a part of.
I still can't listen to this song without crying. First, I start out thinking of Zach...then it transitions to all of the loved ones I've lost (most to cancer). Beautiful tribute, and it's very touching at the end when Zach's mom breathes a sigh of relief, as if saying "Whew, I made it through". God bless them all.
There are people, like Zach Sobiech, who are wonderful people, who can help our world, our sick world, and make it better.
His mom and dad are there too...how incredible. They must miss him dearly, but to know he had an impact on so many people hopefully brings them some comfort.

Having lost my son Matthew at the age of 10 to a brain tumor, I know that pain that the parents feel all too well. To have something where people come together in their son's memory is wonderful.
I managed to hold together on this until the light blue streamers came from the ceiling (my son Matthews favorite color).

ah I was in this crowd singing along w my mom about 4.5 years ago now. I was just reminded of this song and of zach, tho I dont kno how I couldv forgotten. his story was everywhere since I lived in the twin cities, on the local news channel to the local radio n even on national news. I listened to his song almost everyday and lost track of how many times I bawled over it. my mom n I got to volunteer for this event as well as sing w the rest of the crowd, and it was a magical and surreal moment. I could barely sing thru the lump in my throat ^^; tho I may have slowly forgotten this song over the years, I kno that its message will never truly leave me. thank u zach

This song brings a tear to my eye time I hear it.
the first time I seen this video it made myeyes well upwith tears for Zacks family, however with his strong will and the ability to face his illness, I have bookmarked this page and still listen to it every now and then. It makes me think off how quick it is for a life to end due to an illness. On the other hand, those who face their illness and know it will soon take them and continue to live their life like Zack, and all that knew him, those who helped him live the rest of his time here with those he loved the way he wanted and asked is a Blessing. I am sure the view from the clouds upon you all are not just nicer but BRIGHTER as well. May Zack and all who new him know I will continue to listen to these songs all the way down the list as well as his story.
