The Saints scored 2 touchdowns because they ran the ball at Damone Clark and he couldn’t make a play. I was screaming at my TV to put Overshown in the game. Also Jalen Brooks should not see the field at all. What in the world were those personnel packages??? Tolbert, Cooks and Flournoy are all better receivers than Brooks. I’m pretty sure it was a 2 receiver set and they thought putting in Brooks was the best decision. The idea is to have your best Players on the field as much as possible. Clearly the Cowboys didn’t get the memo in week 2 🙄

Yeah I was so confused that Overshown wasn’t playing most of the game, I thought maybe he was dealing with an injury because dude looked like a all pro week 1 after missing all year he has sideline to sideline speed, and once again Mike can’t game plan dude is terrible with the run calls, we go through this every year

I agree we could get a quality DT for either Malik Hooker or Donovan Wilson and let Thomas, Bell get some playing time As little value as RBs have right now, we could get a quality back for a 4th next year, throw in Dalvin Cook as a sweetener..

College success rarely transfers into NFL success. And I realize Cook didn't farewell last year, but he is only 1 year removed from an 1100 yard season, and that 1 year was with the lowly Jets with little passing game, and going the whole year with only 67 rushing attempts. So tell me again why he is RB #4 on a pathetic running team?????

Solution against these teams with outside runs is Lawrence and Kneeland at ends with Micah as stand up linebacker. Get Clark out of there and try different safetys
I have a crazy idea. Trade for Reddick from the Jets to play DE/LB and move D-Law to DT. D-line get a major upgrade. Then, just focus on RB (should have taken Allen from Wisconsin last draft) and a #2 WR to bounce Cooks back to WR #3. Worry about the safeties next draft/offseason.

The Cowboys need a true DT ASAP!! They need to use they draft picks to get the players they need.
@cowboys What made Duece so dangerous in college was the run scheme that KState ran. A lot of outside zones, powers, counters, and duo plays. These running backs aren't McCaffery, Henry, Saquon, Josh Jacob's, or Aaron Jones, which can be effective in most schemes, but this scheme MM has going on ain't working. He needs to make changes and stop thinking it's gonna all of sudden work the following week.

Lower the expectations when it comes to Dallas and you won't be disappointed. I can watch them now and not even get frustrated. Like this past Saints game for instance. I said Dak will probably have a poor game and we know our RBs won't do anything. It's going to be up to the defense. And then they were no shows! So yea, we're definitely screwed.
We should have kept Royce Freeman instead of Vaughn. Freeman is a bulldozer that would tire the defence out so Rico could feast in the second half. But naaa let's keep Vaughn and Zeke.

McCarthy scheme and play calling is weak. It’s time to move on. The game has changed. The reason Green Bay let him go.
I considered this year a wash when they didn't fire him after the Green Bay game. How play calling is average at best for passing, God awful running, horrid clock management, and most importantly, he consistently and constantly fails to have this team prepared to play while simultaneously being out coached and out game planned on a regular basis. Any success we have is in spite of McCarthy not because of him.

Zeke should just be third down and close as I thought. Bring in Cooks to see if we have a better runner.
Overshown playing 18 snaps is crazy, he is faster and better in coverage than Liufau…Damone Clark is not it got beat in coverage too many times
Tom...the management of this team is a lost cause and hopeless and has been for about 28 years now and will continue to be average to slightly above average at best. I will die of old age before they ever play to their full potential and win a NFC Championship or a Superbowl. I dont give a shit what they do...just be like Nike and "Just do it"! Been a fan since the mid 70's and will still be a fan but I am not ever gonna get my hopes up again, I dont care if they have the number 1 talent at every position cause we all know falling short and disappoint is what they do every year without fail!
Maybe one day the Jones's will sell the team to someone who wants to win...

Pick up former Ole Miss RB/star.. Zach Evans .. New RB/room is Dowdle, Dalvin Cook, Evans .. Then all you have to do is get rid of McCarthy's boring "everything up the middle" running plays that are so easy to shut down.

I'd go get S Woods back from Titans, was dumb to let him go. I'd trade for a reliable DT. I'd trade for a WR. I'd play Marquise Bell immediately, trade Donovan Wilson for that DT or WR, and Overshown would be a starting LB. I'd give J Thomas more looks at FS too. RB I'd go get Jaylen Wright, they have a surplus in Miami so I'd make an offer they'll accept. We have all those extra draft picks next year, may as well try to make it right this year with them.

Bradin cooks would be a great Third WR but as a number Two he is average at best . I would like to see a trade before the deadline.. along with a trade for DE depth. Those two with Ferguson and Bland coming back would be enough to win the division easily. DT is not going to be solved this season. But there will be a bad team willing to dump a WR or Decent back up Pass rusher. Running game is trash.

Ravens at Cowboys might be the biggest game of the year so far. One of them is walking out with their season either over or nearly over. If the Ravens fall to 0-3 their season is done, they've got like an %8 chance to make the playoffs. If the Cowboys go down to 1-2, they're on the back foot the rest of the season.
