I find small samples of black tourmaline on my nature hiking trail It's not native I found out that there was a cannonball factory there in the 1700's They were smelting iron I think the crystals fell off the ore carts in transit
i have too much this black tourmaline near of my house in a mountain. i didnt know it this can use for what. but that are long sizes black tourmaline she is showing little pices.

Are there 2 types of Tourmaline? There is Brazilian Tourmaline and is the Nubian Tourmaline? Can you clarify this for me. Spelling of Nymbian. Is this correct? All the best and great presentation.
I'm confused about tourmaline. They say that real tourmaline is fragile and rough, however my tourmaline pendant is polished, smooth and definitely very hard. Is it real and how to know whether it is or isn't?
Kris good question, I think it is fragile but not so fragile that it can’t be polished. I recently bought a piece of it from a store in Texas that had both raw & polished. I still chose a raw piece because in my opinion they’re nicer looking. I haven’t dropped it yet 🤞🏼 but it feels solid enough to polish anyway I think.
Hello! Thanks for the video. I received my black tourmaline stone yesterday and its not even been 24 hours since I received and it already broke into 2 pieces.Can you please let me know if the broken pieces can be worked with or I throw it away and order another stone. Thank you in advance.
It must be false ore because it seems like a rock/vein of metal stone such as Bismuth or Iron (even tho bismuth is man made). It’s a crystal, and not an ore, correct? So, just like fool’s gold, Black Tourmaline I assume was originally thought or sought after as an ore, only to realize it’s a Stone. Makes sense to me! 😂
Physic attacks are real. For me, unfortunately on a daily basis. 40 years. Huband, used to drain my energy. Without my permission. I got a necklace and bracelet, and they helped, but not if he touched me. I am safe now (?) he is dead.

Your stone is shiny where as mine has a matt finish! Does that mean that mine is not real??

I believe it is false in that miners wanted pink/green tourmaline but instead got its less valued (but not a bad crystal) counterpart black tourmaline
