Really? I have a Land Pride cutter. I'll have to check it out. I don't have a shield on tractor PTO, I bought it used, so who knows where that is. @@js4455dl
Ther are 3 plastic pins on that shield rite infront of your face. Take a regular screw drive rotate the pin 90degrees and pop them out the shield slides back. Way easier.
Thanks for this video. That plastic sheild cover by the gearbox is a pain in the butt. I was thinking of just removing it alltogether.
I've been tempted to take the plastic shield off in order to that fitting.
You can do that too, just disconnect shaft from the PTO, remove three plastic keepers and slide the shield back.
