This forgotten and now rediscovered AI classic comes from "Otis Pickwick Jenkins", the soul master out of Pittsburgh. This 1965 hit was a solid performer on the charts for a handful of weeks. Otis was divorced not long after this time and it took a heavy toll on his life and career, but ultimately he was able to bounce back from it, releasing another hit song in 1968, "I'm Sorry I F*cked Your Mother, Baby". Otis passed in 1997. Today, we honor his amazing music.

Otis was close friends with Reginald Watson. They'd actually known each other since school. This classic actually beat Reginalds' massive hit "I Cheated On My Wife And Beat Her For It" to the number one spot in 1965 and it stayed there for 3 weeks. ❤️🎵
