Nicely done. I especially appreciate the disclaimer at the beginning. I'm 65, and I've been building models for almost six decades. I know in my stash I have one or two Pioneer Models H0-229's, and in my spare decal box, I have an ancient sheet with a yellow "P" in a circle. You are sorely tempting me with this video . . . . 86th Like.
Thank you for reviving this amazing aircraft, albeit only digitally. I loved the foam crests on the sea. Addfing the banshee howl of an Avro Vulkan would have been nice but maybe a bit too much.
The GAF flew one of these against a ME 262 in a trial dogfight, the Horten 229 proved superior. Unfortunately in a later test flight it suffered a engine fire and was destroyed attempting to land. The Smithsonian museum has one to be restored.
@edmoore1661 They built 3 flying prototypes. One flew two or three times until the engine fire and resulting crash, one was wrecked during air raid or ground action. The third was captured intact by American forces, that is the machine held at the Smithsonian Air And Space museum. You will find same on TH-cam. Enjoy.
I wish someone would build one of those to see how they flew. The yaw stability would have been questionable. Flying wings only became viable with fly by wire controls. And the original Jumo engines had a mean time between failures of 50 hours.
This aircraft was built near by me in Göttingen Germany. It was handcraftet in the area from autobahnmeisterei ( highway street service ) from the Horten Brothers. But i did not know they fly around with it. Here in Kassel was the tiger tank factory Rheinmetall and tank production is still there, i worked there some years.
When taxiing prior to takeoff you can clearly see that the pilot is wearing a baseball cap, not a helmet. Never gonna happen! Other than that (and a somewhat blurred background on the takeoff roll) a very good effort.
Richtig.
Well done, very realistic. Fun fact. One of the soldiers taking part in recovering the UFO crashed in Roswell early July 1947 said that the alien craft looked like something he had seen in Germany at the end of WW2. That could possibly have been the futuristic looking Horten Ho-229 or another of the German Wunderwaffe developed during the war. They looked out of this world.
It’s not crazy! If this an the 262 we’re let lose from WW2? The world would be a completely different place! This was just the first of 7 variants, one was big enough for a nuke ! During the capture of plans an Top Secret information, the first Helicopter was already on the drawing board but, a test craft had not been built. Your welcome 👍👍🙏🙏🇬🇧🇬🇧
I heard it was hard to fly. Dick Bong died test flying the F-80.abd I'd guess some hot shot German ace would've died in that thing. The HO-229 would've been the Death Wing for the pilot
Ool video but the aircraft in question was only reported once to have taken to the air on a very short test fly it I remember be reported in a show about bizarre aircraft of the second world war
A good piece of CGI, it's a pity that they didn't get the pilot right., one thing or note is that the front wheel is off and crashed American bomber. Also the aircraft oscillated from left to right in flight it just needed a small bit of a fin/strake to rectify. The Americans built a full size replica to test the radar cross section. You can find the documentary video on the history channel I think.
You AI guys do well on the aircraft, but obviously, you never experienced standing behind a jet blast! That vegetation would all be blown over when the plane taxis and turns.
Well done, very realistic, very detailed. Very impressive.
Beautiful to watch

Absolutely beautiful! Very well done. Thank you.

I think there was a little howl....vulcan not capitalized 😅
Nice! Looks quite realistic. The real thing would need a longer takeoff run, though.

I thought it never got beyond the prototype stage with none actually produced in a final production form as the war ended before that could happen.

Very realistic...the giveaway was the flags in the background. But wow, very very realistic in every other respect
Fascinating!!
Increíble que maravilla
Not fake with the disclaimer. Well done 😊good artistry.
Congratulations! Pretty convincing....don't recall any airfields like that one in the UK though........
This is AI generated but realistic
Thats the backside of the thunderbirds isle
RAF don't just fly from the UK though 🤣
CGI Maravilhoso !!! 👏👏👏👏👏😁👍
Very well done, little glitchy going over the white marks on the tarmac. And a little exhaust smoke would’ve been really helpful. 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻😁
Very cool 😎 love the howl that was like that of the Vulcan.

The trees and shrubs allways give the game away

super plane
Ein besonderes Flugzeug 😊😊
O hortem era alemão fabricado no final WWII.
Yes here in Göttingen Germany in the area from Autobahnmeisterei ( highway street service ) it was a wooden aircraft. Good german engeneering.
Very radio control!
Absolut klasse Animation!
That forward gear looks a little out of scale-------if not it would have weighed a short ton at least.
It's pretty accurate.
The Horten Brothers used the tailwheel of a Heinkel 177 as a nose wheel for the 229
It was produced from alloy. You can carry it alone.
The plants don't move in the wind!
I remember reading about a similar design of plane. Is it based on reality?
Yes,
the German Horten 229 Project
@Modellbaustammtisch Ok. Thanks 👍
You can clearly see where the B2 got his shape from.
And so.....stealth was born.

Looks like a clip from “Captain America” or an “Indiana Jones” movie!
Well made!
Almost though it was real till it took off. Then it became obvious
AI but well done
It's fs2024
Big wheels!
The wheel well doors are not correct, but nice try!!
Something like this was in Raiders of the lost ark.

Got this off the marketplace! MFS 2020 needs more work but not bad
It’s not crazy!

It's a real plane, or an AI video?
It's fs2024
It’s the new realty. Accept.
@FiatLux-g2b 😆😆😆
Unsere Technology wir sind dir besten.
I heard it was hard to fly. Dick Bong died test flying the F-80.abd I'd guess some hot shot German ace would've died in that thing. The HO-229 would've been the Death Wing for the pilot
Definitely not RAF. Just look at the French flags in the opening shots. Don't forget the French Airforce also use the roundel.
Hi
CG,?
Ool video but the aircraft in question was only reported once to have taken to the air on a very short test fly it I remember be reported in a show about bizarre aircraft of the second world war
Done with the help of AI definitely!
It whould not surprise me if it was a large scale flying model!! I have built a couple small ones!!
A wondrous machine..have often wondered why the enormous and ugly nose wheel??
I thought be fs2024
The real one still exists, in Wash D C in gov storage
F A K E
Wer hat's erfunden......... 🤣... !!!
KI😢
Don't see the point of fake bullshit AI videos.
AI video is fine but you need to say that instead of wasting my time.
Another click bait headline.
Fake Ai chit !
It's fs2024 dummy
Cgi
Naaaa bitte
De quem é esse sapo?
This is a fake
Das ist schlechter Fake...
Avión nazi ..no de la Royal navi
Fake.
Nice Fake !
Very fake...
🤪☝❗❗❗❗❗🤣🤣🤣🤣
More fake crap should be banned
But fun to watch!
What is so cool, and it’s fun to watch how soon you can catch the glitches. 😂
Beautiful plane so ahead of its time had it ever been built and flown

There are no flying hortens that survived because they didn't go into production
