Those old packs and boxes reminded me of when I was younger and looking at a card shop where they had a secret rare Yata Garasu and BLS out on the glass display shelf. So much nostalgia looking at those classic boxes.
Vol. 1 boosters. HOLY COW. The very first OCG cards, ever. Released February 4, 1999. 40 cards in the set. 30 commons, 5 rares, 3 super rares, and 2 ultra rares (Gaia the Fierce Knight and Dark Magician). Every single monster was vanilla in this set. Defnitely worth far more unopened than opened. Keep them for posterity.

I went to Target around 2010-2011, they had TP7 packs for 0.50 each in the bulk bin ( no idea why ) , pulled a Fortress Whale super rare and sold it for $20, wish I would have just kept it honestly, its so hard to pull foils out of TP packs.

1st edition Magician's Force 36 pack boxes are worth WAY more than 650 bucks. The only other person on TH-cam that I know that has one is The Old School Expert. He said himself that it was one of his collection grails.

The cards in the set don’t have the “eye of Anubis” in the corner and no set numbers. they’re from the 90s. Back in the day after they released the starter box, they made about 8 “vol” packs, before they released the second wave run of booster packs, like their “ legend of blue eyes”

Scale the tournament packs, open the ones with foils (the heavier ones) and grade the non opened ones.
