Turkey Creek Nature Trail || Things to do in Niceville, Florida

In today’s adventure, we head to Turkey Creek Nature Trail in Niceville, Florida for a little hike along the boardwalk and then swim in the cool waters of Turkey Creek. This is one of favorite things to do in Niceville on a hot summer day.
The Turkey Creek Nature Trail is a 3 mile round trip boardwalk hike along the creek through beautiful Florida swampland filled with bald cypress, Atlantic white cedar, and pine trees. The area is popular with nature lovers and with those who love floating inner tubes down the cool flowing water of the creek. There is also a large pavilion where people can picnic as well.
The city of Niceville received a large grant several years ago that helped to build this wonderful city park and we take advantage of it as often as we can.
