If it was true, then Ahmed wouldn't be able to not obey Fatih's law, Süleyman couldn't marry Hürrem and so on. Kösem formally was just a regent, not a padişah. If she had such right, why would she try to make Osman, Murad, Ibrahim, Mehmet and Süleyman a Sultan?

He married kosem cis he knows he's going to die n he want to give kosem his responsibility for his empire.

Wow I know it was different era but I can't help but think that Ahmed can be a yandere sometimes (i mean he's willing to go through with Iskender being his a sehzade and hiding that from him but not to any one-sided love feelings he has vis-à-vis Kosem even if nothing happened which caused him to order his execution even if Suleiman would worse than Ahmed in his place ,still creepy).
Kosem's misfortunes will follow each other in a more violent way, and her childrens will be pushed very early for the intrigues of the throne (unlike those of MC who had at least a peaceful childhood). No wonder they're less sociable than MC's (yet better written and more varied than white pure annoying sehzades like MC's Mehmed and Mustafa).
Poor Mustafa from MCK. The only one sehzade I completely agree that he is written 100% victim innocent because it was true, even in real life he did not want the throne he was an instrument all his life, he was never able to make a real decision and suffered throughout his life. Another innocent victim of the system
True, Mustafa in the series and irl was used as a tool to bring the fratricide law in end.

I feel so sad for Mustafa I and Osman III.
Also i can't imagine how depressive life must had been for Halime and Shehsuvar.
At least they spent some times with their sons and were Valides,but they spent long loneliness life in Old Palace too.

I also fell sad for Osman II and Selim III, they didn't deserve their end like that.
But Idon't fell sorry for Mustafa IV, because he really was power hungry and like Sehzade Bayezid and his sister too Esma Sultan(reminds me of Dilruba and Mihrimah),in the end she fixed her relationship with her half brother Mahmud II(even though she supported her brother Mustafa to kill Mahmud and was involved in the dethronement and the death of their cousin Selim III).
