Awesome compilation as usual. You know, I love the eventhubs article that features this video. The title of it acts as though it's some sort of incredible feat that Bonchan is really good with Sagat in season 4, despite the fact that season 4 only released only a week prior. Bonchan has been playing Sagat for at least 10 fucking years. That's like someone who is 26, who has been driving since they were 16 years old, gets into a 2019 Civic and people are like "Woah, you're stopping at red lights and using your turn signal like a beast, despite the fact this car only came out a week ago!" Bonchan doesn't have to relearn Street Fighter from scratch, or even just Sagat for that matter, because of season 4 updates.

Sagat lookin pretty fly. still want to see more low tiered characters make the highlights list. like a really good Gief or something akin to that. or Ed.
the walk speed buff is huge for sagat, plus the improved consistencies in a lot of his hits to combo. i think you will see sagat in tournament for bonchan

@@akathetruthteller They changed his dashes to be faster, dash doesn't = "walk speed". I'm not salty just letting you know that they didn't change his walk speed go look at the patch notes.
In general Sagat is faster, they buffed his overall speed (normals, dashes), they increased tiger shot hitboxes, decreased the startup of kara uppercuts (still slower then normal), Step kick timing for kara cancels are less strict. Tiger Charge (VT1) is now plus on block as well, Tiger Rush (VT2) has less blowback on hit so it's even easier to combo from it now.
Man does this give me hope that the King WILL return, but with the decent buffs to Karin and the nerfs to her competition I don't see why Bonchan would reasonably drop her to all-in on Sagat.
Love seeing Sagat play, it's just straight zoning, footsies and fundamentals. No robbery factor needed!

His walk speed got a decent buffed. People needs to be much more careful jumping on you and your fireball now.

His Standing LP hits crouching opponents now which is a nice QOL change. Other things got buffed too like dash speed and such
