@@jacksonconley5117 That had a lot to do with the defense, especially the Jacksonville game. The killer B's along with the defense featuring TJ Watt, Bud Dupree, Cam Heyward and Minkah Fitzpatrick would have been a lock for the Super Bowl. That defense carried an offense featuring a Duck at QB to 8-8.

I remember in free agency when Leveon said he wanted to play for a championship. A week later he signed with the Jets. Him turning down a $70 million contract from the Steelers only to sign with the Jets for $50 is absolutely hilarious. I can’t even pretend to feel bad when greed backfires on someone. It was poetic justice for us Steelers fans to see him wind up with a terrible team for a lot less money and see his production take a huge decline. It’s the worst decision I’ve seen a free agent make in a long time

The magic of the Killer B's died the night the Jesse James touchdown was reversed in that December 2017 game against the Pats. I knew the second that game ended that the Steelers had missed their chance of having the number one seed. Been a Steelers fan since 1975, the biggest mistake was that led to the down fall of this trio was giving Brown a big contract which ultimately created a monster afterwords for the raiders, Patriots & Bucs afterwords with his on & off the field soap opera antics I will admit this trio was good together but not good enough to reach & win a Superbowl together? Ben struggled to stay healthy & Bell wanted too much money when he was injured on & off and not consistently trying to stay healthy Only Ben has 2 Superbowls to his name & The only reason Brown has a ring is because of having a QB like Tom Brady at the helm otherwise brown would be outside looking in the he & bell are currently doing!

If only our defense didn’t fold like binder, especially when it mattered, perhaps we would’ve won a championship during the killer B span. Yes the offense was great, but as the good old saying goes: Offense wins games, Defense wins championships.

  • @darthgroot4006

If the Steelers get an amazing second string receiver... they could have a formula very similar to the Killer B's. Russell Wilson/Fields with George Pickens, Najee Harris, Jaylen Warren. Just need that secondary receiver to be amazing and boom... Pickens will be very difficult to defend and you can't always double team him because of the secondary receiver. Then Najee and Warren is such a combo that it is very similar to Bell. Warren with his shiftiness and hands, and Harris with his power to blow over players.
It is possible but without a second stringer... The defense can double Pickens and stack the line to stop our run game.

Tomlin's not an authoritarian, alpha personalities will forever overrun the Steelers locker room as long as he's coach. Worst part, he's so passive it actually breeds bad behavior. Look at JuJu's transformation for a perfect example. He's a competent version of The Clapper.
