I used to wear Stan Smith's in the 80s when I played tennis! I haven't had a pair since then, but now I think I'm going to go buy a pair. I remember how light and comfortable they were, and how clean the look was.
I can hear my Stans and wallet quietly crying already. Have been on the hunt for some white sneaks that have that extra umpf to set them apart, so this couldn't have come at a better time. Always appreciate your reviews and opinion Jeff, keep on rockin, my guy! Salute!

StyleOG you hit on something all men 35 and up needed to hear for a long time.The Oliver Cabell on your foot appears to need a thicker sock or two but they're fine.The Edris Nunez looks really good on you though.The rest of the white shoe/sneaker looks good on your foot as well.Most of the shoes still seem to need a thick sock. I guess it depends on taste and comfort.Great work OG.

I have an off white(not the brand) milk colored pair of all white low cut sneakers. And they're by far the most versatile shoe in my entire collection. I can literally wear them with anything. They make and compliment any outfit.

I know they're not premium but you can never go wrong with a nice crisp pair of lowtop air force 1s
I also keep a fresh pair of Krispy Kreme white af1's. AF1's leather is not as good as these and not as versatile. I couldn't picture myself wearing AF1's with chinos or with a suit. To me AF1's are strictly jeans,sweats and shorts kicks

I finally found him and he was old enough to be my Daddy . That's when I snapped out trance of smelling him. This old Black Man was dressed like Style O. G. teaches us about. Frfr. Brother Jeff excellent video!!! I’ll leave my opinion as such. I own a pair of Koio’s, Ace Marks, New Republics, Axel Arigato, Greats and Magnanni Cuervo leather sneakers. I’m hard press to explain which is better leather, they all feel different; except the New Republics. You get what you pay for typically. However, what I have noticed is the one’s that are bulky(Magnanni and Greats)tend not to crest in the front as bad. Also to be noted in my experience, the one’s with the suede on the Achilles region tend to irritate skin after walking around. I bought hell pads to help with the discomfort. So I would suggest the full calfskin leather interior. To me, adding suede on the inside is being cheap. That full leather interior helps with suppleness and odor/climate control.

the beckett simonon is pretty nice, especially for the price. i have that, the Thursday, the greats, the oliver cabel and the idrese. the best one? allen edmonds court side sneaker. prices, 99 fir beckett simonon, 129 for thursday, 137 for the greats, 155 for allen edmonds, 189 for oliver cabel and 235 for idrese. best leather is the oliver cabel and allen edmonds, best construction is the idrese, the best comfort is the allen edmonds, best value is the beckett and the allen edmonds.

The white on white are nice, but the black top with the white souls are 🔥 🔥 🔥 & the ones I chose as far as the Common Projects brand.
Now the Clean 90’s 🤔 you speak of. If you had to choose between the CP or 90’s , as far as comfort goes. Who has that edge in your opinion?

I last watched this video about a year ago. And after a lot of research on and off since that time, watching other vids along the way including Rose Anvil cutting up sneaker shoes which were interesting in itself I went with Oliver Cabell. I finally bite the bullet on a pair of White Sneakers. It will be the very first pair of White Sneakers I've ever owned. Think it was also because I'm going on vacation too next week in Peru too and needed a solid pair of white sneakers. Taking my brown leather ones with me too. But thanks for setting me on the path again Jeff.

I remember when The Commons first came out… I was in the Sisley mens store in the Hamptons and all the mannequins had them on. I was like damn thats a clean shoe! Copped a few that day, years later that shoe is still unbeatable

I bought a pair of white Kenneth Cole Kams off eBay and only paid $25!! They are super soft and very comfortable! I have some Greats royales on order. I’ll update when I get them...
I also really like Nothing New shoes, the white is nice as hell and incredible for environment 👌👌👌
It’s not premium or as expensive as these shoes but still a very nice minimal design

Go get a pair of Cole Haan Grand Crosscourt II and call it day. They're very soft, light weight and comfortable. Under $100.
They are good for the price, but the leather quality is average at best. would not cot consider them premium

very good review, i just wish you did the axels justice. The leather they use is so much higher quality and thicker than some of the others and the construction is very solid.

Rockin the Greats Royales today.. they were a little stiff to start out. They are feeling better now. I have to admit surprisingly, the Kenneth Cole Kams are waaaaaay more comfortable. The greats feel like shoes or, boots. The Kams felt light like a slipper or canvas sneaker..
For me the best is Beckett Simonon Reid. No branding whatsoever on the outside. Super buttery soft Vachetta leather lining. Margom sole. I also own CP Achiless Low, but the Reid's comfort and minimalist aesthetic is just something else. Unbeatable in price too, if you have the patience.

I got the Koio triple white. They are fantastic. Rocking them at my daughter wedding come April. I also have 2 pairs of greats and one New Republic in my arsenal
Great vid OG,I have a few pairs of the Greats Royale's and they're my go to kicks if I wanna dress it up but still wanna be casual kicks. I have Cole Haan Grand Pros,but they not on the same level as far as leather quality. The Grand Pros are super lite,and the Grand Royale's are alittle heavier kick so it will take u acouple wears for u to get use to the weight difference. Luckily I caught a 70% sale on the Great Royales afew months back after I saw ur video on them and cop me 5 pairs of them.

Try Greats Royale,I wear a 14 but I went up to a 15 cuz I have a wide foot. But if u wear a reg.14,u be straight. Cole Haan makes a similar style called Grand Pro,that are super lite and cost less. Only thing the leather isn't as good as the Greats Royale's

You should watch the Rose Anvil video where he takes apart the Common Projects to reveal their less than excellent materials. They cut a lot of corners and definitely overcharge for merely a decent sneaker. Not full grain, use chrome instead of vegetable tanned leather, etc etc. The Stan Smith’s might even last longer.

Hey Syle O.G. you're absolutely right that you get what you pay for. Italian leathers are a better investment which ultimately pays off in the longevity of the shoe. I have purchased Italian leather boots over 10 years ago and the leather is still butter soft. I just have to get it resoled. Great look book. I can tell they are comfortable in how your feet looks beyond comfortable everytime you take a step and looks Great on your feet. I actually seen a guy on National Car commercial in a pair of caramel colored Italian leather kicks . That you had posted a month or 2 ago. I was like Wow! I would not have never noticed the shoes before until I was educated on the different brands of great quality sneakers. Thanks so much for All of your insight and consistency. Be Blessed.

I love my Axel's. Got em before they jacked up the prices too. If I recall they were somewhere around 195-215.

These are all beautiful, but what is the kind of arch support that they offer? that is the biggest challenge when finding shoes that soon start breaking when you have fallen arches, or a wide feet.
If you want good material out of a Stan smith go with the raf Simmons version

I grabbed a pair of Collegium Pillar Lows about a month ago, and trust me they are on point!

@@TheStyleOG yeah, they are hand made in Italy with full grain calf leather, the pillar lows run about $230, but Bloomi's has them on sale often enough, so a lot of times you'll end up paying 40% or even 50% depending on what color they have on sale at that moment.

I just bought a pair of pure white adidas stan smith. In China it's about 100 dollars, which is more than the number you mentioned in the video (70). Or it's bacause I bought it from a local flagship store. Clarks also has a pair of white leather sneakers. It's from the superlight series and you can see a feather logo at the bottom of the sneakers. It's less than 200 dollars.
