"Purchase to play game." Thank you for making me realize how old I am now. We used to call them, games. I understand why you phrased it like that being a gacha creator and all, but the fact you felt the need to still makes me feel so old.
So many games for so many years does this, and I mean, steam is a thing, for forever now. We buy physical copies too not too distant in the past. It's the same exact concept unless I'm missing something here
@@v3ngence138 I think they were more talking about needing to specify that you need to pay for the game? like youd just assume that youd have to pay for the game to play it instead of assuming its f2p(I did because i thought itd be a gacha haha)
@@v3ngence138You got a point, but with I'm assuming this is also on mobile, they're usually f2p p2p or pay to play are not really the norm for mobile games, granted there are f2p on console and pc, then there's pay 2 win which is f2p but you can spend money to get ahead 😅
You might like Sea of Stars, Indivisible, or the Valkyrie Profile series then. Not that common a thing in RPGs but has never failed to be an absolute treat when done right.
I played this game for 20-25 hrs before finishing the story and I love it. Getting a 300 hit combo with 85000 dmg felt so good in the end. 10 dollars is so worth it.
If I'm being honest, I'm sad for the fact we had to declare a game as 'not a gacha game' once the element of 'anime' and mobile are put together. This means games in mobile are being seen through a stereotype caused by a few, poorly made games (or casual games), and never seen as simply a medium for games, like console and computer.
same i wish mihoyo games were paid and you just unlocked characters by doing quests and stuff instead of having to gamble and they were playable offline
Thanks for sharing this! Not enough pay for /own everything /and offline games anymore. I desire hoyo to make Genshin playable offline eventually. We already require GigaGigs of data anyway.
Absolutely love this game, bought it the day it came out. I like it so much that after beating it, I began playing again (changing up my core 3 team when able to play other styles)
The last time I've actually purchased an android game was Chaos Rings 3. That game was pretty good and is comparable to console JRPGS. A 10/10 for me. I wonder if this holds up. Looks good though.

Omg, not a gacha game?! In 2024?! Impossible!
It's €9,99 though
@@POTATOLOVERRRRwhales drop hundreds, if not, thousands on a single character
10 bucks is nothing to them
Having to incorporate timing in turned based combat is cool it reminds me of the mario and luigi back in time or paper mario
Sea of Stars did it more recently. It's surprising how such a small change makes combat more engaging long term.

Nice! Been a while since ive actually purchased a game on the app store. Thanks for reviewing this! Will definitely check it out.

hmmm.....i have horrible memories of the Chaos rings games. £15 a pop and they were unplayable as soon as Square lost interest.😕
Theres no free roam? Once u finished the main story and side quest?
No, when you have reached the ending, you will see the credits and it will put you back to the main menu screen after that.
