This song has a special place in my heart because of the story behind it. You should watch the "Explanation by a Korean" video then it will hit you differently I must say. I also was baffled the first time I saw the costume change because it's SO well done, but the easiest explanation really just is the correct one: It's cut together.
Yes, it was live, but she held this concert 2 days in a row, and it's just the outfit she was wearing the second day 😅 But I can't lie, it also took me a minute to realise it the first time. It's incredible that they managed to make it look that perfect. If you pause and look at the two frames you can see her hair is just a little different, and she's wearing different earrings as well.
And yes, this entire concert was a work of art 😊 I wasn't in the Olympic Stadium but they later showed the entire recording of the concert in cinemas (for like two days only), and that's where I saw it, it was an amazing experience.
