In a bizarre way… metaphorically… Cameron brought Gary’s true gay self to life… and JUST in time!

@AStoryWorthTelling I thought when Josh said Patty was a littlenminx, that he'd refer to Alex's name (the "big" minx). Also, I was surprised by Lukas Gage's performance (Cameron). He starts off as stereotyped, but ends up giving a nice performance. And he's multi-talented. He also co-wrote Low Down. I didn't connect him with his role in Euphoria and apparently, he was also in White Lotus.

I GET THE POINT of WHY Cameron stole Gary’s body & buried him in the lake: for nearly half a century, Gary had never done what he really wanted with his life. So AT LEAST let Gary get to choose how to be buried!
It had to take someone crazy enough like Cameron to carry it out: bury Gary in the lake… reunite him with his old beloved dog Duke… even let him take his Fabergé Egg with him.
This was my top movie of last year😭😭😭😭😭

I was soooo NOT ready for this one!
I cried a lot at the end of this movie because I see myself in Gary. Pretty sure I won't be able to live my life being my authentic self so I have this bittersweet feeling seeing how Gary lived as himself even if it's just for a month. I'm happy for him, but also I'm sad for him because he's missed out a lot, which is definitely me projecting myself into the character as I definitely will regret everything in my deathbed. In another life, if there's another life, I wish I could be born in a better circumstances. Or let me just be a house cat that is thoroughly pampered by its owner and feel nothing but joy
I don’t know your situation, but I know how you feel. I am out late into adulthood and though it has its challenges, it has been the most I have ever loved myself. It may not be safe for you or possible for you, but I hope that to your own-self you can be true. The most important person to be out to is yourself. At least it has been for me. And I hope my words give you some comfort. And I hope your situation can one day change so you can be your most authentic self.
Good film. It's supposed to make you cringe and die of embarrassment etcetera. That's its point... But with a tad of good life lessons and emotions to boot. I'd give it a 3.3 on a scale of 1-5
I started to watch this with you on Patreon but quickly realized I’d be good with the condensed version on You-Tube LOL. It was out there, which usually I am into (like Saltburn) but this was kinda weird. 🤔

To me it was not a very good movie. Too little time spent on their friendship, too much time spent on the main character being straight. Nothing ever comes of their friendship. Maybe the book was better, I haven't read it, but the movie did not make me want to read it.

I'm sorry but I can not stand Zachery Quinto. Every character is the same. Looks the same. Sounds the same. Acts the same, for the most part. Not a good actor, I'm sorry. And not attractive...stoppit.
This was a horrible, very un-funny movie. I don't see how it was ever green lit much less get made. Not the least bit entertaining.
