An elderly lady did die recently after a wrong house SWAT raid.
A baby sleeping in her crib was traumatized by a flashbang thrown in her room when the police raided the wrong house. There are many videos showing this kind of “mistake “. Too many.
Just proves too many cops are incapable of reading 📖 an address before smashing in a door.

How hard is it for the cops to double check a address before going in yelling and breaking doors down, scarring the shit out of people for nothing.

Notice how they do not even give the person inside time to come and open the door to let them in. That must be fun to them breaking down expensive doors without even having to pay to replace it.

He'll get out the same way he got in, presumably an open lateral drainage pipe not far away., He may have picked up the scent of prey at the entry (muskrat, racoon, etc) They're pretty purposeful and smart, but definitely was confused when he looked up to see a "different world" Also, pretty sure that is not a "sewer" per say (carrying waste and sewage), but a street run-off drain (storm drain).

In this day and age cops should be able to locate an exact address with the current technology and *not* storm the wrong home. There's really no excuse.

The homeowner in Glenpool Ok. Needs to take out a full page in the Tulsa World with the faces of every cop that "raided" that home with their names, badge numbers, highest level of education and big banner. COPS CAN'T READ ADDRESSES.

I hate to say this, I really do, companies are going to have to stop giving refunds or replacing items stolen by porch pirates. Customers are going to have to do something to make sure their deliveries aren’t just sitting on their porches when they’re not home or too lazy to go out and retrieve them. There are secure drop off locations or you can schedule a date/time with the delivery company for a drop off. You could ask a neighbor or friend to secure the packages or something but the customer has to try something.
I think they even have lockers now. My mom has had packages taken but we think it's kids in our complex doing it. She did get a Ring.
I would sue the hell out of that's something that you need to make sure before they bust in somebody's house and scare the hell out of somebody that is completely ridiculous for them to do that to someone's home and it's not even the right address I just I can't believe that would even happen

To answer your question: I would sue the city into oblivion. And a destructive animal story. A squirrel had chewed through the wire that goes from the main hydro lines to the house. The wire wasn't completely chewed and it caused like power surges until eventually the power went out fully. The damage was to my folks' computer, our answering machine, and the transformer to our furnace. Naturally, it was winter so we were without heat for a few days.
You know what’s scary? The constant inability to write the most basic English language.

if they did indeed have the wrong address we would let the lawyer figure it out later. I would comply but there would be a multi million dollar civil law suite and it would be all over the news. However I have a hard time believing they got the wrong address nowadays
