Yeah, the Ice Flower would be a cool (no pun intended) addition to SMM2 considering how it worked in NSMB; it added a new dynamic to platforming and grabbing far-away objects when freezing enemies and throwing them.
I have to say, the troll fish at the start was a great nod to the community and folks like Barbarous King who love dropping fish on unsuspecting players.

Nintendo? It would be awesome if in a future update in smm2 has cutscenes. That would be so fun to mess around with and fun to watch. Edit: and it would also be fun to have more than 2 worlds. So can you make it in a future update when it comes out that we can have like 3 or 4 worlds? (Sorry for asking so much) (and I CANT wait for it to come out!)
My favorite thing about SMM2 is that it's like you're buying a mario platformer bundle that at the same time has a wider variety of levels. What a great deal!!!

Something this game could do better than the original is updates. I played the original for a long time and nothing new was ever added except for event stages. If this game occasionally adds new features, I think it will be popular for a very long time. I would like to see features from NSMB Wii, such as ice flowers and the spinning circles that appear in the first level. Lots of potential! EDIT: The game did have a few updates but I wasn't around to see them because I started playing in October 2017, and the game was released in September 2015.
They did add things like keys, check points and specoal power up options. (Making it so you had to have a mushroom to get a fire flower, etc...) Things like that.

In the early days of MM1, they actually added quite a bit after release. Like skewers, bumpers, checkpoints, and several other things.
