  • A huge matchup between one of the most physical player's lacrosse has ever seen and one of the best team defenses ever. Notre Dame's LSM's Sexton and Crance did a tremendous job of staying on Jones's hands while continuing to play the body and feet. Also, SSDM's Robert Collins, Austin Gaiss, and Drew Schantz did a great job of playing feet first and being physical with Jones. You cannot guard someone like Jones with stick. Notre Dame also did a tremendous job using the show no-go various times to keep Jones guessing as well as sliding early to the hands to disrupt his feeding.

Pretty sure the whole nd defense is in the pll (minus landis but he’s easily good enough to be)

jones and his teammates are on two different rhythms. they prop took his play style with a grain of salt and worked with it

From a keepers pov, having lockdown poles that give you 15 yard gumball shots 70% of the time is literally heaven sent. Props to the goalie on doing his job a lot of big time saves kept Myles confidence down this game

You've got to wonder why ND didn't put a pole on Jones. He was just running by the SSDMs.
