I had fished all lakes and rivers I knew what to fish and how to fish them. I was killin it, until I came to Weeping Willow Carp Colossus. UGG. I did one mission there in the past and it was not fun. So, I skipped that monster and completed the rest. I was left with Weeping Willow I raised the white flag and went to TH-cam. Out of all the video's I clicked on yours. I bought a spod rod, spod, mixed the ground bait and went fishing. Because of you my worst spot to fish is now one of my favorites! I completed the mission and walked away with 300k in cash. Actually, I'm still fishing Weeping Willows because of you. Love your personality and your vids. FYI your channel is the only fishing channel I subscribed to. Thanks Bro! Oh yeah one more thing, 10/0 HOOK! hahaha I use 10/0 hooks and a 2 1/2 pound shad for oversized sturgeon IRL not carp. Love this game.

8:23 I haven't real-life fished in about 20 years - but not for lack of enjoying it. Life and other hobbies just took too much time out of my days and nights, and fishing as any kind of priority just kind of fell by the wayside. However, when I fished, it was almost exclusively for bass. But because of my chosen fishing spots, carp were also there, and occasionally I'd catch one... I hated them because I didn't use heavy enough gear. I was after (if I was lucky) bass up to 5 pounds or so, and only using 8-lb line. A 10, 20, 30-pound carp has run off with some of my best lures and a stretch of broken line on more occasions than I'd like to admit. They used to piss me off somewhat regularly, and I developed quite the disdain for them. _Nothing but overgrown goldfish,_ was my opinion on them. But I don't know, I might be willing to give them a chance as a sport fish if I were actually equipped to land them effectively. I've managed to drag a handful of them out of the water over the years, and when they fight, they seem to punch well above their weight class. A 5-pound carp pulls twice as hard and far as a 5-pound largemouth. And carp get WAY bigger than bass, so it definitely could be pretty sporting, I imagine. But again, the gear has to be able to handle it, too. I dunno... Maybe when I finally get back to sinking real hooks into real water again, I'll build a rod to try and chase 'em down with. To go alongside the requisite bass setup, of course. 😊
@@arcanewyrm6295 definitely have to give it a try! 😊 carp fishing is strangely a very social activity. Hard to beat going out with 2-3 guys, each with 2-3 rods, waiting for a carp to take the bait. Sometimes it’s consistent bites for hours. Can be a real blast! Made a lot of good friends through carp fishing.
I’ll spod most of my mix out before I start fishing usually you’ll average 80lb carp , using bottom rods with jauari palm fruit , camu-camu etc.. , my biggest carp recently I’m happy with is 81lb common and ghost , I love carp fishing too lol I’ll send my mix through if I hear back and you can try it when you’re there next 😊 sunny and cloudy day 😊

I seen this vid, hammered to 1 million re baught everything I needed rods, reels etc.... done the kappa mix on a cloudy day by accident, my first 4 fish uni comon, uni grass, uni leather, uni ghost, all new personal bests. i just do heavy chaser with sweet corn or sweet peas, i get 5 uniques per sunny day easy enough. spod fishing might help get more uniques in a short time but i only use about 40 mins real time to finish 200kg net with about 5 uniques and fair amount of trophys.

I used three bottom rods and a carp rod, I got 4 uniques on each of those two sunny days, but the cloudy days are not great at all. Is there a way to get full net on a cloudy day, maybe its because I use sweet corn and peas and only one savoury boilie. I also have pva bag with a groundbait. There arent many sunny days, thats why this place is not that great.
I remember when I was a kid... we'd catch carp and tie plastic soda bottles to them and watch them swim around the creek. Now as an adult I don't recommend this... But as a kid watching a soda bottle zooming around the creek was almost as fun as catching them. I guess the thrill was seeing the people who did not know that there was fish tied to theses bottles.. freaking out ...lol Bill come here look at this bottle zippin round out there ...yeah I see it...oh wait there's 2 of em...no look it 4 or 5 there's a couple over their too... I just got a question why do you keep your drag all the way up why don't you turn your dragon down until you get a fish on and then adjust your drag to how bad the fish is pulling I mean that's just smarter thinking instead of ruining your real and you're right and your mind from your drag being so high and you yanking it you would save on having to replace your rod or your real or having to spend more money on repairing that stuff
Is this realistic. Never fished in real life but I'm thinking surely you'd throw put the spod rod and put it on a stand and let it soak away while you fish instead of throwing spod 10 times

I bought the Cong Discovery pack and got burned out after I came back to the regular maps but Weeping Willows is a fun way to get back in the game.
I got 2 unique common in the same day same lake and you said that you can only catch on of each per lake.
But it definitely works
Nah you can definitely do it, we catch doubles far more often if you’re catching a second while fighting the first

When it gets to the 0dd hooks it's opposite than normal the bigger the number bigger the hook

The spod is just a rocket shaped pod that opens when it hits the water, so you throw out multiple times to increase how much bait you have in the area
