- Sacraments, or religious works, done in the hopes of getting something more from God are contrary to the finished work of Christ and have no place in the church, the Body of Christ. As members of Christ’s own body, you are complete in Christ, and you lack nothing. There is no ritual, work, or service that you must do to receive that which was already given freely by God’s grace when you put your faith in the gospel of your salvation. Brother. I love you an thank you for this teaching. My parents are 79/78 and I've made them aware of these issues. My dad was the financial bookkeeper for a Catholic Church in San Antonio, my uncle the deal maker when they decided to build a new church and move from one built in the 30's. These are dedicated people who's had very long and distinguished careers. I've met hundreds of them over the years at retreats. People who when called will lay down their life to defend you and yours.
I pray to my Father in Heaven, and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, of whom I am an ambassador for Christ 2Cor5:20, that they have mercy on these well meaning peoples, who come from Christ loving and God fearing lineage. My grandmother would go to church every day; not to look holy, not to look anything. She was the matriarch of a very large family. She went to church every day and would live in that church on her knees if possible.
At 59 I understand right division and salvation, as best I can backwards and forwards; Christ is all my eyes and mind should be concentrated on. So I pray Father that you give us all the peace and love of understanding. I pray you would no more leave an unwanted child, or a deceived human that actually does love you, regardless of their personal Genesis and religious background.
I pray you Father, who knows the hearts of men, will take all those that love you.

I found this video that explains the errors of Catholicism thinking that we get graces through them and not through the HOLY SPIRIT given to us by God. This is a total error and a total deception.When someone turns to the Lord in repentance, He promised to send the Spirit to that person and that Spirit unite us with God and that is how we receive all that God promised. Thinking a sacrament is going to do it, is not faith, it is not believing what God has said.
