As it is the festive season in South Africa, many of us are busy with year-end shopping. Unfortunately, this is also a time when scams are prevalent, and many individuals fall victim to them. It is essential for the public to remain vigilant and aware of their surroundings when managing their finances during this period. Brigadier Phupheli spoke with Mr. Ntshiki Maluleka from the South African Banking Risk Information Centre (SABRIC) and Colonel Van Wyk from the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (HAWKS) to provide valuable safety tips.
