Love the video. I farmed em all last week and finally got em out of research this morning. Been maining blair and love em but really liked normal ajax so i figured ult ajax would be the first ult i work on. Definitely gonna take this build into consideration. Easily one of the best character guides I've seen.
My Ajax was doing pretty good until I tried doing a certain Hagios mission alone yesterday and took three tries to beat that swarm of enemies. So I definitely welcome insight to further increase solo survivability.
From a fellow content creator/Ajax main to another, I posted my build too yesterday, i'm glad someone actually understands that DEF is important rather than having 50k HP.
From this game, to another... ive always stated how important it is to focus on DEF over HP. Sure the more hp you have, it'll make you seem like you can take a lot of hits. But that just makes the damage conversion seem even harder if you receive damage. Now if you apply that to DEF, then you take less damage no matter what. DEF is a damage reduction, the higher it is, the lower damage conversion is. High DEF makes you more tankier regardless of how much hp you have.
@@The_Cholosseum the main issue is that defense in most games also has a diminishing return, the higher you stack it. It gets to a point that adding HP gives you way more hits than trying to reach the next defense breakpoint. Warframe armor scaling works like this too. The amount of defense that can add to a meager 3% Dr can be the difference of thousands
Ok so I’m not sure but pre Luna update I was sitting around 36k hp pretty solid but post launch I’m lost 11k hp and now sitting around 25k did something happened or am I just missing a patch note
Yeah idk what happened I seen that too I lost a lot of defense and hp I’m doing different builds now but I did also see that too but didn’t see anything in the notes
that polygenic antibody can be dropped on the boss build. its does not provide enoughele resist to be worth it. i recommend mp accelerant or an outstanding investment so you can get some duraton and either mp or heal up.
I got a similar build with regular ajax still needs some tweaks but rn it gets around 175-180k defense when fully procc'd or however you spell that and im sitting around 14-15k hp, mine doesnt have as high of a base defense, ima be farming ultimate ajax and try what i have on my regular one on the ult to see where it goes stat wise
@@OCZSAVAGE They drop from Kingston dungeons. They are not that rare but seem to have half the DEF as the higher tier ones. They can't turn orange or ultimate, but it's still 25% set for just 2 pieces.
@@celexample based on drop values you will lose some stats but if you get aux and sensor def rolls the Rare Set def value is only a slight difference from gold drop ones. the sensor will lose ~2k defense but you will well make that up with the +25%.
That's an FYI.. Leave the cursor off of the mod for a while so we can see the whole layout of all of them together... When you put it on one mod it blocks the rest of the others😊
Depends on what you mean by stronger, if durability you can already have 100% up time with cooldown mods and standard tank build. if you want more reflect damage you go skill power modifier

Nice builds, i will let ya know void charge is only useful for skill reset, it has awful damage scaling. Im using a hybrid tank dps to focus on reflect damage ajax is really fun to play
Its clearly an ajax tank build so why would what you do for DPS even be relevant for the video? Also why are you even doing DPS on ajax you could use Ulti gley, Leipic, etc you just dont sound too smart my guy nobody cares about your "hybrid DPS" build which you probably dont even do that much damage LMAO

Also when I have 88k defense I would die to a hard infiltration boss in 3-5 hits, on the build above I could stand in front of a hard infiltration boss and put my controller down and still wouldn’t die. I watched the same video, guy with the blackboard that explains you get diminishing returns every time you double your defense, he says it applies to everyone EXCEPT Ajax and Kyle because their abilities (Wall, Cube) scale directly off defense. So you are incorrect and you probably didnt watch the whole video LMAO trying to sound smart but dont even know what you are talking about

Defense and HP and your golden
My build looks nothing like most of the videos I'm seeing. But it's nice to know other people's ideas and what the ceiling is for defense.

Defense is good but without a solid foundation with a good amount of hp it’s kinda useless

True true I replaced it since this vid I think I was using it just for bossing at the time can’t remember tho

Been farmed ult Ajax and after 50ish k defense it’s diminishing returns so I prefer to have an infinite health build.
Yeah, it looks like we're on the same page, I just need to keep doing what I was doing. Maybe stop the campaign to farm for a reset.

I’m farming ULT Ajax rn I need one more piece but I’m going on 2 days for it after work. Ran 35 outposts/swamp walkers so far for it and no luck.
