That millennium line that long at this time of year is crazy especially on a weekday
You and Not Your Normal Guy inspired me to take my first solo CP trip last season! My GF and I were there the day you filmed this! I was the one in the Megadeth shirt. It was definitely packed for a Monday, lines were ridiculously long. Rides were up and down all day. My GF said she'd never ride Valravn again, after we watched the evac from Millennium Force line. She looked at me disgusted when I told her people paid $150+ to watch the eclipse from the top of Valravn.
Sorry but getting Evac'd from millennium would be 1000 times worse lol

Chuck here, I say you go with yourself to the park. Friends don't always have the time to enjoy the park.When I go with myself I can explore the park with total freedom. Also, there are so many interesting people to meet. As a matter of fact, I've met people at Cedar Point that have become friends and we meet up including some nice lady's. It's a great time. Thanks once again for the content Beachcliff.

Most people probably think TT2 is open just to be disappointed. Hopefully the public learn to look that stuff up before going. Anyway KI was super crowded last year on most days we went so hopefully these crowds lead us to new coasters. Great video as always
The problem with Cedar Point is that with all of these new and revolutionary prototype rides that are getting 15, 20+ years old, its like they need to spend the money to have these rides extensively renovated. Small things like Millie's lift motor speed to big things like Maverick's constant downtime. Spent my last trip there missing Kings Island. Going alone to parks is pretty much standard for me. Doesn't matter if its the home park of somewhere 10-15 hours away. It beats sitting at home alone anyday and I am thankful to have found such a super fun hobby.

I love to do the solo cross country trips to parks just because I can do what I want along the trip and I get to enjoy my time at each park.

I began traveling solo back in 1998 when I got divorced and have never looked back! I go to CP by myself. Let’s be honest how many other 62 year olds ride coasters??? When I first started traveling solo I was very self-conscious but soon realized nobody’s looking at me and nobody really cares. I’m going to Kings Island in July for the first time solo and in October back to Cedar Point solo!
You’re right, nobody is judging you at the park. That’s probably one of the biggest things for most people that consider going solo, the fear of being stared at and judged. You just go and have fun and don’t care what’s going on around you. Enjoying the parks is all that matters
I've ridden plenty of rides alone when my wife and son did not want to ride the rides I did. I think I'd have a great time going solo to cedar point. I often meet other solo riders in line and we end up riding together.

Glad you had a fun solo trip. I love solo trips. I go with my buddy sometimes, but solo trips are always a blast. I'm with you on the heights. I'm afraid of heights as well, so getting evacuated off a ride is always a fear of mine

I was there on Monday. I was in the back of the park when Valravun went down. I wish we would have crossed paths. Keep up the great content!
Went this past Thursday the 23rd solo. Definitely the crowds were heavy. It's pretty much a given that a $99. season pass is the cause of the increase in the crowds. Just about all the big coasters were an hour to 90 minutes. Steel Vengeance was closed for the day, TT2 that was a given. Millie was being temperamental also. I did rediscover a love for Magnum XL 200 again after sitting in the back not on a wheel seat and it was amazing. Great vlog.
I went (solo) that same day and couldn't believe how crowded it was!! A few other days have been the same - TT2 being down hasn't hurt the crowds at all 😅

We were there. I saw you but second guessed myself because I didn't see Milo. 🤣It was busier than I was expecting at that time of year.
I was there on Sunday AND Thursday this past week. Steel Vengence didn't open at all on Thursday. And it was running 2 trains on Sunday. Sunday, I rode Wild Mouse, Iron Dragon, Blue Streak, Valravn, Mine Ride(not riding that again, those lap bar restraints are awful!), and Gemini. Thursday I rode Wild Mouse, Iron Dragon, Millennium Force, Gatekeeper, Magnum, Gemini. Thursday the park was as busy as it was on Sunday, seemed like alot of school groups where there due to the large amount of middle school aged kids

My worst fear is getting evacuated from the top of Magnum and having to walk down the stairs, like what happened to those folks last summer. Valravyn would be terrifying too!

I can’t wait to start solo trips this year! I’m just getting in the car and choosing a destination lol. I’ve been stuck on a boomerang type ride at six flags years ago. We waited nearly an hour to get started. Some people asked to get off and others such as myself waited until the problem was fixed. I was not walking down those stairs! I think the influx of people is due to tt2 and the summer passes. Wouldn’t expect it that busy on a Thursday. You should’ve left a little earlier to go enjoy the mud hut at kalahari. Best option ever after walking around CP all day! Hope all is well and thanks for another great vlog!

Seriously, half the rides at CP were down this week. SteVe was down for half our trip... luckily we marathoned it before it went down. We had booked our hotel stay from last year, to find out TT2 was OOO 😮... But regardless, y'all who have Cedar Point as your home-park are damn spoiled! Yeah I said it 😊
I’m by myself like 90 percent of the time, and I do enjoy that too… but, I also will go meet strangers, meet up with random friends, or go with a group. Sometimes traveling solo expecially longer distances can get lonely expecially if you are driving.

I was here this past Tuesday and Wednesday and it was fantastic. Tuesday was absolutely dead (cedar point standards) and Wednesday also wasn’t too bad but there were some schools there. Between the two days I got 7 rides on maverick and steel vengeance each. Steel vengeance was literally a walk on 30 minutes before closing on Wednesday. It was absolutely fantastic. I was in heaven. Then we headed over to maverick to end the night where the guy let us stay on past closing. It was a very successful trip.
I like to do things solo too like yourself as you mentioned I don't like huge crowds when going places either I been to CP a few times by myself nice solo VLOG have a great day guys
I enjoy hanging out but at parks too many people means too much bickering about what to do and where to go.

I was there the same time you were. As I was leaving, around 1230. I noticed a maintenance worker working on the structure by the first drop.
@@BeachcliffStudios Between all the downtime on the existing rides AND TTD2 down for all except the first week and preview days, yes 2024 has been rough for park goers, but still plenty profitable for the park.
Late June I'm going for the first time to CP (from Brazil) and I'm really worried with all these coaster down, especially Steal Vengeance in the last days. I've waited 20 or plus years please don't disappoint me CP!

I was out there on Sunday and Valravn was sending empty trains. same with the Sunday before. not sure what's going on with that ride
It's been problematic this season. I was only able to get on once and it was never available during early entry.
i go by myself Every time and yeah it's not bad at all. i had a great day Wednesday i marathoed Steel Vengeance 5 times in under a Hour and 4 on Millennium 3 on magnum without a Fast Lane. but Going Alone is Sweet but it's becoming a lonesome. i seen you Wednesday and said hi as i was going out at closing. but i didn't see milo with you on Wednesday also, were you solo than?
Glad you said hi. I was kind of by myself all week there but I did have someone with me most of the time.

It is a a B&M they never go down. Unlike Intamin and zamperla.
I wouldn't be scared about the evac and having to walk around, I would be scared that I would have to get evaced like that on a day where I visit before work. Ive already been stuck on Rougarou once before work but only waited like 20 minutes.
Those evacs take a LONG time.
Going to parks by yourself is the best. You don’t have any secondary agendas
It gets old quick though, even if you have the meal and drink plans.
Much better with a partner or family or at least friends.

Chuck here, Republica just came on the playlist. I'm starting to realize that the official opening of Top Thrill 2 has Been a diaster. I Rode those trains 35 times opening Monday with season fast Lane. The trains were very Shakey especially the silver train. I talked to a family, and they traveled all the way from Arizona for Top Thrill 2. With all the art work, dollars and aesthetic, failure is not an option for this ride. Can we get an all clear soon please.
