Yeah, that Millennium Force music rocks. I literally always dance in the queue because it slaps so hard. Probably the catchiest instrumental song ever.
Coming from a Rougarou ride op, Rougarou is actually really, really underrated. It’s my fourth personal favorite at the park and it honestly is much better than it gets any credit for
It's just really overshadowed by other great coasters at the park. It's a bit rough and the back half of the ride is pretty uninteresting. At just about any other park, it would probably be much higher rated, though.
The Gemini is actually a really enjoyable ride. I went there last month for my first time ever and I wasn’t really expecting anything too special with Gemini but I was blown away by the airtime. If you ever go back there, I would recommend giving it a shot
Yes it’s very fun honestly but I don’t like how sometimes it feels like your going to hit your head ( speaking from someone who goes every weekend) there’s honestly better rides but for a wooden ride that’s a bit old it’s really cool
So if you loved Cedar Point so much why do you keep saying you're not gonna go back? One of the best surprises about CP for me was that it's like a gathering place for thoosies. I ended up meeting like 4 other enthusiasts when I was there and just talking about coasters with them then for a bit. The worst part that no one talks about is the mosquitos. I guess they do an OK job with spraying for them, because the paths by the beach are just covered in dead bugs, but it's seriously insane how many there still are.
I probably won't go back bc I don't think imma be an enthusiast for thaaat long and there are so many other parks i need to get out to. Like this was my first cedar fair park and I've only been to one six flags park
Yup. It really feels like a straight up exclusive resort. It’s the atmosphere. I feel his night life point real nice and I’m not even drinking age lol. Just so many people to have fun with on rides and meet especially as the sun goes down.
I consider Cedar Point as a resort due to the park including 3 hotels, a campground, two water parks, and a sports center a la ESPN at WDW. I’m not sure about the hotels since two of them are off-site, but it is a true full-fledged resort

The Windseeker gate is good if you're staying at the resort. We'd use it later in the day if we needed to run back to our room or whatnot. But other than that yeah it's kind of pointless
This park really is special. Went for the first time this summer and it blew away my already high expectations. Even rides I thought I wouldn’t care about like wicked twister (RIP) where insanely good. Even though fast past plus is practically required to get the most out of the trip the experience I had was worth every penny.

FYI, the Magnum gate is not only for passholders. Anyone can use it after 10 am. Only Hotel Breakers and campground guests can use this gate before 10, though. Another big advantage of this gate is it is super convenient for parking, being that it's right off the waterpark parking lot.
2:33 Fair to mention that as of July 2023, they refurbished the Breakers entrance into the Boardwalk. It’s mostly relocated flat rides plus a Wild Mouse and new restaurant (with AMAZING balcony views of the beach), but all the rides have been repainted/updated and the area has a really fun retro aesthetic to it. Definitely geared more toward families but it at least gives the Breakers entrance some much-needed life and energy!
This is peak Coastoons. Gonna take a lot to top this video. Watched this like 5 times over the span of 2 months. I go to CP all the time and I still love this video. Idk man. Just an incredibly solid video with good editing
This park means a lot to me, i love it more than Disney and universal and is always the highlight of my summer when I go there and made me get into the coaster industry and learn about every bit about coaster knowledge. Happy you enjoyed it!
disney world is cool but my cedar point trip was even better. i have not been to universal yet (my mom may take me there and sea world on my 22nd birthday if not earlier :OOOOO) but i honestly miss both florida and ohio i would definitely go back for more rides and places I've never been to (BG tampa and KI included)- oh plus there is gonna be the tallest drop tower in the world opening up in orlando and i wanna go on that too
That’s super cool, I am visiting BGT this January so I’ll let you know how it is. Cedar Point is honestly the best park in America and has an excellent coaster collection. If the attractions are good enough, great theming isn’t needed. This is the case for CP
If it's wait time you're worried about just go during the week right after school's started (for Ohio), I went last Friday and we did all 13 coasters that weren't either closed or kid rides. In fact the only ride whose wait was over an hour was Maverick with 75 minutes, and even on Maverick the wait was only an hour with the ride breaking down while we were in line. And even on a busy day we can generally get on most of the coasters, I may not have ridden many coasters but when it comes to getting on a lot of rides we are experts.
I concur Lord. Our family was there on Wednesday, 8/24 and Thursday 8/25. Got the Fast Lane Plus first day there and we overdosed on these roller coasters! 2nd day, no fast lane plus and pretty much was subdued with a ride here and there. An absolutely fantastic park!
for Magnum’s entrance, all you have to say is you want to park at cedar shores. you’ll go to the left and drive around the edge of the whole park and it’s free. you drive past maverick, millennium, steel vengeances, etc.
Im not even kidding i was already in love with cedar point but this videos makes me wanna go even more, you just explain everything so well and im geniunly jealous that i live europe even though we’ve got some good coaster out here too
I got my first ride on maverick and it was a night ride and it was absolutely a masterpiece. I would have to say it is way way WAY more intense than it looks. If you didn’t have soft restraints then it you would have a concussion. But I love that it is my home park so I can basically go whenever I want on some of the best coasters.
As a Resident of Northwestern Ohio and Cedar Point being less than an hour away it was always a go to summer family vacation and now at 19 years old it hasn't missed a beat and going with friends make it even better. Also true fans will never forget HallowWeekends🥵🤤
My CP trip, it was incredible: Day 1: 3 hours at closing Day 2: Full day + CP beach Day 3 (Sat.): Got on the big four (except Dragster), Magnum, and Gemini in the first 2 hours and spent the rest of the day in Cleveland! Day 4: Full day with Fast pass+ Perfect trip length staying at the Express!
With steel vengeance, no one talks about the stall. People don’t care for it. It’s my second favorite part of the ride behind well, you know what. It’s so quick, but so good. The airtime when you twist from one side to another not talked about enough. It’s crazy how much ejector airtime you get. The restraints don’t even touch my legs, so I’m flying out of my seat on pretty much every element. The adrenaline rush before the stall is insane, so getting sent like a cannon at the end. No one talks about the end of it, but you get so much momentum right at the end (mainly because the middle cars have passed the peak) which makes this buttery smooth, and that’s the roughest part of the ride, and it’s buttery smooth. (Also that guy at 7:39 got destroyed)
I love that you got stuff from the other great coaster channels. But, as good as problematic roller coasters is, I think you have risen to the top of my personal favorite coaster channels. edit: I just saw that you cut the block zones section of Ryan's... unsubscribed.
5:08: What would be the best launch in the park if Dragster didn’t exist…” Cedar Point: Bet P.S. I love this vid, can you make reviews like this for other parks too?
Gemini is just fun because you can literally high five riders on the opposite train on some of the turns. You're only in them for a few seconds but those tunnels on Magnum can get really warm on hot sunny days. I wasn't a fan of Mantis and changing the trains and changing the name to Rougarou didn't make the ride any better in my opinion. Mean Streak was quite possibly the worst coaster in the country, I still cannot believe they were able turn it into the best ride in the country (Steel Vengeance). I live in Illinois 30 minutes away from Great America but Cedar Point is definitely my happy place.
This park, Kings Island, and IoA are always battling it out in my head for favorite park. Fun video, good job to everyone involved. Wtf is a block zone?
in one summer i went from being terrified of coasters to absolutely loving them; i used to only ride wooden coasters, but then i went on great bear at hershey and everything changed; i went to cedar point about a month ago and it was great. steel vengeance was my favorite ride in the park, which really just goes to show that all you have to do to get over your fear of coasters is to suck it up and ride one; i guarantee that you would love it
I wctually really recommend Gemini. It is wildly fun. Not in the extreme thrill way, but it is just fun. It has big drops, high fiving the other train is awesome, and it does have a fun night ride, at least to me. Its also smooth as hell for its age
Yea totally understand people ranking it lower but it gives such good rides. The drops are surprisingly steep and the head choppers are insane. Plus it usually duels so well. When he was using the entrance right next to it for 3 days and didn’t go once is a huge L in my book. Magnum and Gemini are the best rides in the park to marathon imo.
Everything is true except the smoothness has definitely gotten worse over the years. I went yesterday and it cracked my back twice. Definitely good air time. That's the ride I rode with my mom when I was young so the nostalgia always kicks in.
Great video! I love Cedar Point so much! Just went there Sunday September 12th and rode 12 coasters in 8 hours without fastlane! Do research and pick least busy days and you will be set. Especially with early entry.
Our family was there on 8/24 and 8/25 2022. The last time I was here was in 1975, and wow, over 47 years, the changes were magnificent! It truly lives up to the hype of Roller Coaster capital of the world! Unfortunately, Top Thrill Dragster had been shut down since the fall of 2021, so we did not get a ride on that monster. And as the host of this post, Coastoons said, definitely get the fast lane plus ticket add on, so that you can readily enjoy these incredible roller coasters without growing old and dying in line waiting to get on one of them! Lord willing very much looking forward to coming back to Cedar Point!
power tower is great for a really good view of the land. up fast & down fast are equally as fun imo. back in the day CP had something called the demon drop which i never got to try but it was a fan favorite from what i remember. also, RIP to the disaster transport: best bobsled coaster ever that CP retired.
anyone can use magnums gate, all u have to do is tell the parking booth u want to park by the water park lol lived in ohio my whole life and 9/10 times we always park at the water park
The magnum gate used to be open all the time to everyone, it changed in 2020 because of covid. 2021, allowed everyone to use the magnum gate again but not for early entry. The gate over by wicked twisted isn’t really used by many for your original entry into the park but instead it’s good for getting out to the beach and back without having to walk out of your way.
I know and this is coming from a state that has the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and The Pro Football Hall of Fame. Wait a minute. Ohio started Pro Football, made Rock and Roll famous, has Cedar Point with the largest collection of rollercoasters, AND the largest Amish population! Wow! lol
Watching this to get hyped up for our Cedar Point trip next month. First time going in YEARS and a BUNCH of people from my moms side of the family is coming!
I’m blessed to be from Ohio haha, an hour drive to cedar point, no need for hotel breakers, and the most useful form of the gold pass, god bless Cedar Point lmao
@@ParksBros yes it literally felt like a launched I305, it’s the only coaster that the pure forces actually hurt a little it’s just that out of control
Visited the park few years ago, and did 2 days and a half without Fast Lane. Rode every coaster (some of them twice or three) + water rides + 3 major flats. There is time for everything, but you MUST avoid weekends... Great review. Glad you enjoyed the Roller Coaster Capital :D
Maverick: I'll never forget my ride when the ride broke down midway thru right before the relaunch! We sat there half way waiting like 10 minutes before being launched over the water spray part of the ride. It was crazy
This man is a god when it comes to presenting theme parks. I am new to this channel and I found this video extremely high quality and genuinely had an amazing time watching it. SPECTACULAR work, keep it up!
That was a dumb decision not to ride Gemini. Like, seriously. Also it isn’t almost “50 years old”, it’s a little over 40. Which is kinda old, but come on.
I just watched the rest of that segment and you are literally talking shit about a ride you haven’t been on. Come on man, I thought you were better than this
You had me weak with the El Toro Ryan joke. As huge fan of Cedar Point, like I’ve gone there at least once a year since I was 12 years old, type. I agree with a lot on your list, I also would like to note that over the years I feel like magnum has gotten worse. I know historically it’s a rough ride but not as rough as it was when I rid it last August. I sat specifically in the back of the train to get some extra floater air time. When the train exited the pretzel element right before you go into the airtime hills, I physically saw the train jolt back-and-forth I had never noticed this before that particular ride on magnum. The back section of that pretzel element has gotten particularly rough and has not aged well in my opinion. But that may just be me, does anyone else think that magnum has not aged that well? 😬
I loved this video! I am going to cedar point in July this year. I have fast pass and I’m staying for TWO days! I hope I get lots of rides on SV, Maverick, MXL200, and Millie.
Yes to the incredible night light and energy there! It's actually the best place ever to trip acid, if you're into that. I ended my Sunday night there with a front row ride on Millennium Force while tripping HARD, and that was beyond incredible... and then after that, sat on the beach (which was open until midnight), and even saw some shooting stars. I also love that their beach opens as early as 6 am! By the way, my favorite place to stay is definitely Camp Sandusky, a tent-camping campground about 10 minutes away. I love camping, so combining a tent-camping trip with a roller coaster trip, just makes it that much more of an incredible adventure in my opinion.
Cedar Point has been rocking for 150 years!!! Let me say that again: Cedar Point has been rocking for 150 years!!!! And it’s not hard to see why. Everything about it is perfect. I remember my first time going in 2013. We only spent one day there and we were only able to get on 3 rides. And there was a 7-year hiatus. But in 2020, I learned that it was Cedar Point’s 150th Anniversary!! We stayed at Hotel Breakers and were able to ride so much!!! But this summer was our best trip because we rode a lot more than we were able to last year. We even rode Gatekeeper when it got fixed!!! Everything about this park, even the food, is amazing!!!! It’s something that brings a happy tear to your eye. And we were able to get a night ride on Millennium Force!!! It was the most beautiful ride of my life!!! And as hard as it is to believe, there weren’t any bugs, so that’s a huge plus!!!! If I could steal a phrase from James Earl Jones from Field of Dreams, the one constant through amusement history has been Cedar Point. Other parks have been brought up, thought up, opened, closed down, and torn down. But Cedar Point has marked the time. This park, these rides, they’re a part of our past. They remind us of all that once was good, and that could be again. And although the times may change, Cedar Point will stay remain. And the fun is just beginning!!!! Steel Vengeance. Millennium Force. Top Thrill Dragster. Maverick. Gatekeeper. Raptor. Rougarou. Gemini. Blue Streak. Wicked Twister (RIP). Corkscrew. Valravn. Magnum XL-200. Cedar Creek Mine Ride. 2 kiddie coasters I don’t care to mention. These rides will stay in our hearts forever. Cedar Point is not just another park. It’s the Roller Coaster Capital of the World. It’s impossible to describe it another way.
I understand you when you speak on magnum but we do gotta remember that’s the coaster that started the coaster wars. It’s definitely a little rough around the edges but a classic without a doubt
Great review and collabs! Maverick is my favorite coaster of all, I'll never get tired of it, and like you said it will still surprise you after multiple rides.
Redeeming qualities for wind seeker gate… u can Moor your boat & swim in without having to get a dock. Also, the board walk is nice. Don’t get me wrong it’s not the best gate to get in but it’s a good one to walk out, then back in, or walk out & walk down the board walk, to cool my tired feet off in the lake, or to get a scenic walk to my car to get my cooler lunch. It’s an entrance to the beach more than to the park. Edit: always go on Gemini b4 blue streak. It’s got the racing trains & the operators get REALLY into it. U can also slap high fives with the next train during the ride. It’s actually usually a shorter wait than blue streak & it’s just an all around fun no wait coaster. Also pop on sky hawk if u r going by, there is never a long wait & it’s just fun. I hope u get to go back!! I go every year & it’s worth it.
As a cedar point local I mostly agree with this video but first of all, magnum is horrible and gives you a headache, genuinely bring Tylenol if you're planning on going. Amazing station/themed ride though. And even if you're not going for more than a day do not get a fast pass. If you carefully watch times through the cedar point app it's really easy to get decently low wait times. My typical wait times for maverick are 30-40 minutes, about 30 minutes for millenium force, 15 minutes for gatekeeper, and when dragster was around about 1 hour (I've only been on steel vengeance once and it was with a disability pass from a friend (wait time was normally 3 hours or smth)). I don't do this myself but I've heard going to the back of the park first is really good for wait times.
I still need to be there at night. The rest of my family is fat so it’s a lot of “my legs hurt” “I’m exhausted”, plus, my family isn’t that big on coasters. Wish I could not leave early all 4 times I’ve been there.
Honestly,Gemini is probably one of my favorite rides at the park.Obviously I cant say something like "its the 5th best ride at the park",cause its not,but the level of enjoyment the ride gives me it probably is number 5.
Perfect presentation of a perfect park... thanks for sharing...!

This park means a lot to me, i love it more than Disney and universal and is always the highlight of my summer when I go there and made me get into the coaster industry and learn about every bit about coaster knowledge. Happy you enjoyed it!
I just went to both Universal and Cedar Point this week and agree that Cedar Point is much better.
disney world is cool but my cedar point trip was even better. i have not been to universal yet (my mom may take me there and sea world on my 22nd birthday if not earlier :OOOOO) but i honestly miss both florida and ohio i would definitely go back for more rides and places I've never been to (BG tampa and KI included)- oh plus there is gonna be the tallest drop tower in the world opening up in orlando and i wanna go on that too
That’s super cool, I am visiting BGT this January so I’ll let you know how it is. Cedar Point is honestly the best park in America and has an excellent coaster collection. If the attractions are good enough, great theming isn’t needed. This is the case for CP
@@anthonyleadley3 I 100% agree!
Lmaoooo cutting off ETR on the block zones is fantastic
Its been amazing watching your channel grow over the course of a year 💜
for Magnum’s entrance, all you have to say is you want to park at cedar shores. you’ll go to the left and drive around the edge of the whole park and it’s free. you drive past maverick, millennium, steel vengeances, etc.
Im not even kidding i was already in love with cedar point but this videos makes me wanna go even more, you just explain everything so well and im geniunly jealous that i live europe even though we’ve got some good coaster out here too
“You can never go wrong with the ride millennium force”
That one guy who got stuck in it:
I got my first ride on maverick and it was a night ride and it was absolutely a masterpiece. I would have to say it is way way WAY more intense than it looks. If you didn’t have soft restraints then it you would have a concussion. But I love that it is my home park so I can basically go whenever I want on some of the best coasters.
As a Resident of Northwestern Ohio and Cedar Point being less than an hour away it was always a go to summer family vacation and now at 19 years old it hasn't missed a beat and going with friends make it even better. Also true fans will never forget HallowWeekends🥵🤤
Holy cow this is really is the ULTIMATE cedar point review... absolutely amazing, one of your best videos! keep it up.
My CP trip, it was incredible:
Day 1: 3 hours at closing
Day 2: Full day + CP beach
Day 3 (Sat.): Got on the big four (except Dragster), Magnum, and Gemini in the first 2 hours and spent the rest of the day in Cleveland!
Day 4: Full day with Fast pass+
Perfect trip length staying at the Express!
Thank you for bringing back the hype in my eyes. I think as a season ticket holder, we start to take the park for granted. Can’t wait to go back!
The background music taste is super super good, keep up the great work coastoons
Maverick is like the Kevin Heart of the coaster world; small but amazing
Someone needs to get him on Mav with a camera, lmao.
5:08: What would be the best launch in the park if Dragster didn’t exist…”
Cedar Point: Bet
A coastoons and airtime thrills colab? This must be a dream!
This park, Kings Island, and IoA are always battling it out in my head for favorite park. Fun video, good job to everyone involved.
Wtf is a block zone?
This has got to be the best video you’ve made. This is honestly one of the best roller coaster videos I’ve ever seen.
The background music and the edits on this channel is unmatched 🔥🔥
Great video! Judging by your rankings I think you may have loved Gemini as well! Have to give it a ride when you make it back to the park!
I'm heading over there for the first time this weekend! I'm so hyped!!!
R u there now?? Eeeeek I’m soooo jealous! Pop on skyhawk it’s so much fun & never a wait. If u go on Magnum second car from the back middle seat.
in one summer i went from being terrified of coasters to absolutely loving them; i used to only ride wooden coasters, but then i went on great bear at hershey and everything changed; i went to cedar point about a month ago and it was great. steel vengeance was my favorite ride in the park, which really just goes to show that all you have to do to get over your fear of coasters is to suck it up and ride one; i guarantee that you would love it
I wctually really recommend Gemini. It is wildly fun. Not in the extreme thrill way, but it is just fun. It has big drops, high fiving the other train is awesome, and it does have a fun night ride, at least to me. Its also smooth as hell for its age
Gemini is so underrated
Yea totally understand people ranking it lower but it gives such good rides. The drops are surprisingly steep and the head choppers are insane. Plus it usually duels so well. When he was using the entrance right next to it for 3 days and didn’t go once is a huge L in my book. Magnum and Gemini are the best rides in the park to marathon imo.
Considering how super old it is I guess it is smooth but the rough bumps at the end of every drop made me laugh
Steve-2
Maverick-2
Milli-2
Valravn-2
Gatekeeper
Magnum
Iron Dragon
Raptor
Early gang! Haven't seen it yet but because of the hype I already say this video is one of my favorites.
GG
Excellent video, and I like the background music a lot. Hearing Peggy in a video about Cedar Point caught me off guard in the best way possible.
You can stay at Hotel Breakers or Lighthouse point to use Magnums gate
Same with any gold or platinum passholders
Just a heads up
anyone can use magnums gate, all u have to do is tell the parking booth u want to park by the water park lol lived in ohio my whole life and 9/10 times we always park at the water park
As an Ohio native I just want to say this is one of the only redeeming things about our state
I know and this is coming from a state that has the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and The Pro Football Hall of Fame. Wait a minute. Ohio started Pro Football, made Rock and Roll famous, has Cedar Point with the largest collection of rollercoasters, AND the largest Amish population! Wow! lol
And you don't have to get your car inspected, so you can drive any old piece of junk down the highway!
Fr
Yo same here lmao gold pass is goin crazy
Im so glad i have a summer job here. I am a ride op and mostly do millennium force and gatekeeper. Millennium force is so fun to op with.
Maverick #1, and those Stengel dives are the most insane and greatest things ever as is the whole ride
Agreed! 🙌🏻
Username checks out 😂
@@ParksBros yes it literally felt like a launched I305, it’s the only coaster that the pure forces actually hurt a little it’s just that out of control
Maverick was my first roller coaster ever. I was terrified
Maverick: I'll never forget my ride when the ride broke down midway thru right before the relaunch! We sat there half way waiting like 10 minutes before being launched over the water spray part of the ride. It was crazy
Sister reveal when
Guys... Hear me out
😩😩😩
This man is a god when it comes to presenting theme parks. I am new to this channel and I found this video extremely high quality and genuinely had an amazing time watching it. SPECTACULAR work, keep it up!
That was a dumb decision not to ride Gemini. Like, seriously. Also it isn’t almost “50 years old”, it’s a little over 40. Which is kinda old, but come on.
I just watched the rest of that segment and you are literally talking shit about a ride you haven’t been on. Come on man, I thought you were better than this
The most insane collab I’ve seen on a coasters video. Hall of fame line up
You had me weak with the El Toro Ryan joke. 😬
Dude, thank you for coming to America’s Rockin’ Roller Coast! I live nearby and it is a place of many happy childhood memories. Awesome video
The rollercoasters, the beach, Hotel Breakers, along with a bunch of other attractions I absolutely love Cedar Point!
the ship and pipe scream are so underrated because of how much huge coasters are there obv not the best but solid
I've never been more hyped to see a video in my notifications
one thing i like about your channel.. it has comedy and isn’t so boring and basic😭!!!… see it literally has travis scott instrumentals , amazing
I love camping, so combining a tent-camping trip with a roller coaster trip, just makes it that much more of an incredible adventure in my opinion.
dude i love your channel it’s so simple and so enjoyable for enthusiasts and gps i have watched this vid about 5 times now❤
Cedar Point has been rocking for 150 years!!!
Couldnt have chosen a better song to open this song with. legit almost brings tears to my eyes i love this park so much
As a cedar point local I mostly agree with this video but first of all, magnum is horrible and gives you a headache, genuinely bring Tylenol if you're planning on going.
OH MY GOD, IDK WHY IM SO HYPE, BUT A CROWD PLEASER VIDEO, ETR, AND AIRTIME THRILLS AND PARKS BROS! WHAAA
Yo Coastoons + Airtime Thrills collab make me go pog
When I went to cedar point I literally WALKED ON TO RAPTOR WITH 0 WAIT
Coasttoons: “we didn’t waste our time with credits”
Also coasttoons: “we did the antique car ride”
when all your friends are getting drunk on a roller coaster, you know you’re in for a hell of a time
ahhh the pursuit of happiness song at the start completes this
I still need to be there at night. The rest of my family is fat so it’s a lot of “my legs hurt” “I’m exhausted”, plus, my family isn’t that big on coasters. Wish I could not leave early all 4 times I’ve been there.
Killed it on the editing!
Honestly,Gemini is probably one of my favorite rides at the park.Obviously I cant say something like "its the 5th best ride at the park",cause its not,but the level of enjoyment the ride gives me it probably is number 5.
Ngl I love this channel so much, I can sit here all day re watching all of his videos
Haven't even watched the video yet, but damn, that's a beautiful thumbnail!
Nooooooooo!! How dare you cut off Ryan’s block zone line ! In all serious: by far your best work Coastoons! This video slapped 🙌
