He's really a humble lad. Remember when he dribbled past all of Everton and set up Murphy for a tap in? It was a magical moment but yet the team (including Murphy, to be fair to him) had to drag Isak to the front of the celebrations with the fans.

Some great goals, and what makes them sweet is the amount of 'team' goals and unselfish passes. Even if you aren't a fan of Murphy you have to admit he's contributed massively (I am a fan and I hope we keep him). I'd like to try and keep Barnes as well. He'll struggle to get past Gordon as 1st choice at left side, but if we get injuries, more cup games, Europe??, then he'll get his chances and is more than capable.

I’ll be the first to admit Jacob Murphy doesn’t get enough credit. I’d forgotten how many goals he plays a part in. We’v seriously needed someone to do a job in RW in 2024 and you can’t ask for much more from someone who has very limited qualities
Oleksandr Isak is a key player for Newcastle. IT cannot be sold in the coming years. The only thing that I would advise him to improve is the implementation of goal moments. In almost every match, Isak does not implement a 1-on-1 exit at least once. It was the same with Brentford, and with Leicester, and with Brighton, and with Manchester United.
