Our F1 Singapore weekend | Paid ticket experience vs free viewpoint

We were so excited for our first F1 weekend in Singapore!
We only purchased tickets to attend the practice rounds on Friday, but we found a spot to catch the race on Sunday for free! It was so cool to experience the cars driving by right in front of us, but we were also very impressed with the view we got for free.

It's very wonderful seeing your experience! I also attended the Grand Prix but I only bought tickets for the Bay Grandstand on Saturday. In hindsight, the premier walkaround tickets seemed pretty worth it, and the marina square free watching zone was surprisingly clear. I'll take note of the information in this video if I were to attend this race next year. Thanks :)

premier walkabout tickets arent worth it anymore, unless you want to fight for a good spot on a viewing platform and wait long hours before any on track action in a good spot you got. Grandstands are better for that reason, but if u know good spots around the track, IT CAN be quite nice. just not worth it from my experience this year

That's always a way to get in without tickets, can't u see otters, lizards going to the track.. there's ways to get in.

My plan is only maybe to buy Ticket for Friday because Sat, Sun the Price are Realy Fantasy Price for that.. 😂
So my Question for Saturday and Sunday were is the best Place to watch the Formula 1 without a Tickets ?

Hey I just come across your video, this year I'm going to attend the SG Grand Prix (wish me luck for suvival lol 😂), but anyway, I bought one of the grandstand ticket, if I bought the grandstand ticket can I go to the walkabout zones as well or not? Obviously the walkabout ticket can't go to the grandstand, but is it the other way around worked?

The vantage point from the mall required no ticket at all? That was a public shopping mall?

Yep, no ticket required! We were at the rooftop garden of the Marina Square mall

Hi! Is it possible to walk in zones between races/in morning without a ticket? I planned my trip and didn't know about the F1 and I would love to walk there, especially Jubilee and Helix bridges.

Not 100% sure, but I don't believe you will be able to walk through the track and surrounding areas during the race weekend without a ticket. I do know that they put up a fence with a barrier on the Helix bridge that blocks the view towards the track. Hope you enjoy your time in Singapore!
