I think Jesse but for a subtler reason. In the full shot Peony is glaring at the group that Jesse is in. The only reason I'm not full in on it is because Jesse might not be as skilled as they just joined and Shadestar also matches the criteria
1. Shadestar has been distant
2. She doesn't trust other cats, meaning she could attack Iceburg thinking they were an enemy warrior
3. She could've lost a life to Iceburg and the omen could've been warning her of this

I suspect either another clan, or Weaselnose. Sneaky and smart can be a dangerous combination, and he payed close attention to Icebird and Mapleleaf when they first joined. He also seemed to know something big was going to happen. So maybe he planned something? Idk what his motives would be, but he seems suspicious lol.

I think it was Jessie. With how she has been acting and how you described her, I feel like she is most likely the killer. Although, with this reasoning, it could also be WeaselNose based on his recent behavior and how he has always been according to your description of him.

I think it was two murderers. Jesse and Weaselnose. That would explain both of their behaviors. I think that Jesse accidentally killed Icebird and Weaselnose saw but they're both keeping quiet about it.
