- SBMM and EOMM are awful, but there are much more problems with call of duty than that. the servers are bad, the anti cheat is not even there, the overall gaming experience in call of duty is awful because Activision refuses to focus on the game and the call of duty community. it is awesome seeing Scump and Nadeshot speaking up on what needs to change in Call of Duty to save the franchise.

I didn’t like the crazy amount of times the N word was used and people talking when your trying to concentrate on hearing the song to figure out when to stop so you don’t die in the match! Squid games is a giant step in the right direction because it makes multiplayer fun and exciting!

I will say I pre-ordered and bought the season one pass, completing the season 1 pass left me with 3500 CDL points. I used the extra CDL points I don't need to "buy" this event, but realistically I didn't buy it. I will never put another penny in ANY CoD again, the last penny they get from me was buying season 1 pass before I seen how much of a mess this is.
@@sjdjfieizkck when they make a good game, i typically choose a main character on each side for myself, someone i know is going to get a decent amount of skins; and allow myself to get 3-4 skins for each. i too came into the game with the vault edition, and ended up with 4800 cod pts. i still have 3,000 of them because there really isn't anything good in the shop in my opinion. tbh at this point, idc if i ever spend those points unless the game gets good again. MWII got me for 4 characters, as i was a big fan of DMZ. i have no problems supporting a franchise far past the $70 entry fee, so long as they deliver a fantastic experience.

They changed a whole facet of the ending of a match just for people to show off their purchases. You may not be paying for it with your wallet, but you are most definitely paying for it with your time.
what happened to the game that really highlighted how trash the servers are was omnimovement, we saw them get worse switching from mw2 to mw3 as well. faster movement requires higher tick rates. also, Warzone and the full Multiplayer suite are not connected in any way other than sharing shaders, and a launcher. the weapons all have different damage values, ranges, and even recoil patterns on some. there is actually a studio that runs Warzone, it's Raven Software, and they are almost as ass at game dev as Treyarch.
the honest truth is they need to cut the fat, they need to move to a system where SHG and IW run MP side by side, with Treyarch taking the lead; while Infinity Ward runs not only Warzone, but things like DMZ, and other sandbox modes to innovate on the title. Treyarch should be dropping 3-4 Zombies maps with every game, and at minimum 1 Zombies map per season, if not one at mid-season as well. enough to show us a full Campaign length Zombies experience alongside the regular Campaign with every title. Infinity Ward could easily provide another 4-6 hour campaign via co-op raids every year to build out the experience as well. *edit - Infinity Ward to run Ground War within MP and fully built it out as a true Battlefield competitor.
the problem is they aren't splitting these teams down far enough, giving them long term projects, with liaisons between teams, and a board of managers to keep a throughline on the yearly direction.
Call of Duty could easily be THE First Person Shooter, that no one could touch, ever. the problem is there are too many people like this group on the podcast just yapping, with zero understanding of how game dev works; being no better than the investors who are just as illiterate on the subject.

What would make Call of Duty better? Microsoft realising that Kotick was corrupt to his core & Call of Duty was better pre 2015 & it'll likely happen as Microsoft answers to shareholders & a 45%+ drop in users will be noticed.
MP should go back to uniform soldiers or operatives. The skins just make it to where sometimes you can’t tell who is on what team. Gun wraps and skins should be the thing that sells since they’re going to do it no matter what. Maybe they can add some kind of red or blue light or bands on them like Titanfall and BF2042 if they are committing to character skins. You can always tell who is on what team in other games.
Scump just said what I have been saying from the get go warzone being released was instantly going to hinder multiplayer!
Activision knows how to implement squid game modes on the game rather than fixing the server issues.

I love COD and have been playing online since COD 3. I would rather COD just die rather than it go on as a corporate zombie that only exists to sell skins.

My stance on skins is, its very helpful during fights. If a dude kills you and he got you with a drop shor or jumping...whatever it may be, you'll remember it instantly when u see him in the next engagement...and his fancy skin actually helps you beat him.

I've been saying this from the beginning warzone should have never been a game tied to the base game of cod what they should have done was make it a standalone game with real live service support cause we all know its cap they never add they just tweak and do a complete 180 then scrap everything once a new cod drops classic multilayer used to be simple but the reason it doesn't play as well anymore besides sbmm and garbage servers is because every ounce of planning goes into making the base game around warzone itself making maps, and weapon tuning unbalanced for 6v6 multilayer knowing warzone gunfights are vasty different from regular 6v6 in terms of damge taken due to plates which you should think should be put into consideration

- Bring back arcade shooter like it was back then, can still keep the movement a bit but more simplified

- Blackout is better than warzone but Warzone does have somethings that could have been fixed or added to blackout to make it better (Armor system, parachuting etc)

I agree with everything nade said besides Omni movement. I think that puts more stress on the servers.. as far as breaking camera angles . I think the movement of last year’s game MW three was perfect and they should stick with that. Omni movement is just a fad no different than Jetpack cod .

I remember telling my buddies during the beta, that I can’t wait for us to play bo6 until march,cause that’s when they usually release an update that kills the game. From the beta to the end of the first month of bo6, it has honestly been the best game we’ve touched in the last 6 years minus BOCW. I maybe loaded the game 4-5 times the entire month of December. This will go down in history as the first cod to die within the first month and a half on release. The day the game launched and a few weeks after I constantly saw 40-50 people on my friends list playing the game, as of right now, I sometimes see 2 maybe 4. How such a good game, released with such little support will always boggle my mind.

This game seems to know when all my days off are because when ever i get an entire day off to play this game, then the servers will be complete dogshit all day long, but then i will have a great time and be hooked when i only have time to play 2 matches on a work night

a good third mode option (zombies, spec ops, etc.)

The skin issue..there's a mid point. Especially in multiplayer. We don't need just military camos and we don't need glowing, farting unicorns(Warzone is the place for these, as its the less realistic gameplay) There is a very happy meduim that could incorporate many lifestyles, cultures, etc. There's urban/geographic based, military, standard citizens, we have like 8 billion people on the planet, none who are glowing with pet unicorns, and they are somehow in a gameplay which has represented somewhat milsim gameplay thru its lifespan. Now I know lately the US military has gone woke but not quite that much, yet. My point is there is plenty of real ppl and lifestyles that could be used as a base for skins to not make it "just boring military". And if you did get bored, that's what Warzone is there for. Like the first cat said, they need to be seperate. Fix the servers, seperate the games,stop with the ridiculous skins(multiplayer) and stop making it pay to win with the paid bundles getting an advantage. The grinder should get the same bundle. I'm not saying they can't offer bundles to buy, but if you choose not to buy, but grind, you shouldn't be punished. The advantage has already gone to tge buyer who has it ALL immediately and tge grinder can't even get tge same prizes. It's time to hold these companies accountable, or it will only get worse. Time will tell if ppl stand on their convictions, or bow down. This is a microcosm of our current state of humanity. There is no reset button, choose wisely.

I would love to know if the ping system these days is based off the false ping that was once implemented in cs go to trick people into thinking that the ping is king statement is true when we know thats a lie, not only that it also would give a partial answer as to why the hit reg is so bad and would partially explain why the net code feels so bad

Couldn't queue today we been trying for a solid half hour just to get in a Match (None of my 3 teammates and I shadowbanned) at around the half hour mark we get into a Rebirth game with 21 out of 44 People , and one very Obvious Ragehacker locking onto everyone, yeah the games cooked. I wish I was sorry but someone with their influence didn't want it another way.
Yh I got perma banned the last time I played for that 1 hour I killed a sus movement warrior that was lvl 32 in warzone and he got his team on me and killed me then I got off then logged on the next day to find that I'm magically perma banned and I see why I quit for so long 😂

i personally think omni movement for the majority of the player base is more off putting, its preferred by the better "more tryhard" people because its a faster paced game play but with how small and terrible the maps/spawns are its off putting, we need better game play not faster
I've always thought bo6 would feel better and more consistent with no tac sprint. I remember even Ace was advocating for the removal after the beta, but I'm sure it was already in place by then.
naaaaah man Omni movement is kinda lame ngl. Like yeah it’s cool and all but it can ruin flow on maps as well as timings. Def creates a chaotic environment when it shouldn’t be all the time. They should just keep regular sprinting and or slide/dive. Very very simple. Too many times you dive or crouch on accident on this shit and if you turn off automatic sprint ur at a disadvantage and susceptible to godlike stick drift with spamming clicks. I solely believe the omni movement was a totally unnecessary move and does not blend in well with the other trash things such as Maps, spawns, SBMM. Def should be tested without it like a game mode or something

I feel like splitting multiplayer and warzone is a great idea, however I feel like people would then complain about having to purchase two different games. Unless they keep warzone free to play then it makes sense. But yes I agree assign each studio to a specific task shg gets multiplayer, infinity ward focus on warzone and treyarc focus on zombies. I think it would be more beneficial !

Content creators are speaking out because this nissan their business, not because they genuinely care. Let's be honest, they make the most amount of money streaming because there are way too many COD addicts. This game is pretty lame, and now the world recognizes, it's nothing new. People need to move on, and the shareholders need to pull their money so that Activision actually takes substantial action to fix this. There's no incentive to make a better game because the name alone prints money.

I agree. Military games should stay military especially for operators. Didn't they make a comment talking about they didn't want black ops 6 to be cheesy yet they operators have been human bodies with animal heads? Secondly the camos on this year's title is basic as fuck. Literally every gun shares the same camo. I feel like the previous camos should have been able to be applied to black ops 6 weapons. The whole prestige and lock system is stupid. The current state of the audio is by far the worst it's ever been. Visibility flying back in from the gulag you think you're gonna land somewhere safe, next thing you know there's a team camping or pushing the buy you thought was cool. Using rocks as cover while you shoot, it blocks your shots. Overall the game needs a huge overhaul still. This game is so bad it makes vanguard look good.

Honestly the only opinion that matters is the causal player. They are 90% of the player base. Streamers are only unpaid advertising for them and that's why so much attention is given to them.
Nadeshots opinion on micro transactions is trash, it’s the store bundles that keep this damn company in business, having 0 reason to fix the problems in the game. They keep getting $$$ week after week and say “when people stop buying bundles we’ll fix the game and they’ll come back and spike our profits again”

I think a board of advisors or maybe an oversight committee made up of people like these guys that know the game and the culture inside and out would help but Activision and Call of Duty’s ego is too big for them to do that. Imagine if all major decisions were ran through guys like this first before being implemented.
#10 - Remove ALL DEI hires and replace HB1 with Native workers
#9 - 2Dev Teams on Warzone/DMZ 2Dev Teams Multiplayer/Campaign 1Dev Team on zombies all on a 2-year cycle with all dev teams in constant communication with one another
#8 - Remove the "stupid shit" from the store. Leave the anime bullshit with Fagnite
#7 - Add the option for all platforms and modes to remove crossplay
#6 - Replace AI with actual artists and people
#5 - Add realistic ballistics for all weapon platforms
#4 - Listen to the community for feedback, it seems that all attention is focused on the store and not the game (it is a store with a game attached)
#3 - Third-party ant-cheat, DO NOT allow any "content creator" any special status "white listed" or "creator status"

Warzone was always halfed ass lmao. Alot people don’t know verdansk was just a bunch of ground war maps from mw 19 mashed together but it worked so well.

I stopped playing just before Christmas and came back for a go today and after 2-3 games I just cba. Something about BO6 that is the most exhausting experience whether in pubs or ranked compared to any previous COD. Got a 2.8 in pubs and even my usual playing for kills isn't fun on this game. Something's gone very wrong with this entry and it's a shame as the core game underneath all the manufactured/rigged shit is good.
1. fair gameplay.
Theese games would be so fun if fair gameplay was a focus. But its the opposite now.
2. faster servers, but i fear that the reason why servers are slow and bad now is due to massive codes and AI controlling ingame manipulation.
Its so fun to see the difference in damage per bullet between me and my enemy, in warzone 2 i noticed 1300% difference in time to kill between me and my enemy, both using the same gun (wsp swarm).
I needed 54 shots(100 round magazine) and enemy needed 4 shots. And my hitlocations was better.
It is litteral unplayable, it is not fun, it is not fair. And they wont recieve a penny from me. If game was fair i would have occationally bought a bundle. I would have bought the game. But i wont buy anything that litterally bullies me ingame for years.
I gave it my chance, tested warzone for free. First 3 days it felt epic. Really good map, lovely movement, good audio, wepons felt natural and fun.
Then on the 4th day:
- No enemy audio
- Im resist, inzane ammounts
- Like 30% hit detection(70% did nothing)
- most enemies killed me in 6 shots. Did not matter where they landed. Every bullet from any gun or pistol took 45-55 away from my plate or healthpool.
- Throwing knife was back to make bounce mid air to jump over enemy head, at least now they made it suttle som it scratch enemy hitbox instead of bounce 2-6 meter over enemy as in wz1 and wz2.
So yes it is unplayable.
And it is not ticrate or desync or cheating that makes it unplayable.
I shot a guy with smg around 20
times in his upper back, and then he turns around and delete me instantly. When i watch killcam (which the server sends me) it contains audio of him getting hit by me like 20 times, but he looks quite unnafected. So the server has changed what happened, manipulated it and runs an alternative reality, but it has forgotten to remove audio of what actually happened. It is rigged, rigged, rigged and has been for years.
You talk highly about mw2023, well i can inform you that my gaming experience has been heavely rigged the way so many people feel in bo6 now since vanguard integration into warzone.
I dont complain about cheating as i am on a ps5, I do however feel its pathetic that people cheat and acts as they are good players.
I dont complain about the skill levels of my enemies.
I do however have litteral hate towards activision for how they nerf enemy stat ingame for me, and buff enemies performances over and over again. All the freaking time.
It used to help to stay off the game for 2-3 weeks, and then i would have 3 days of normal gameplay after. Even that dont work anymore. Was off bo6 warzone for 4 weeks, still rigged.

I disagree the the time-accurate operator skins remark. There is nothing wrong or boring with something that was worn during that time to be seen. If these developers were smart, they would take several pages out of the previous titles and revamp them. COD Ghosts and Advance Warfare had customizable heads and bodies. BO1 had face paint. If they were to upgrade those features into making every part of the clothing customizable even down to the laces of the shoes, it would be nice. Take a look at Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Ghost Recon Wildlands. You can swap different types of clothing and accessories and apply various camos. The “generic” can become stylish and not so uniform-looking. Unfortunately, bundles sell well.
