This music makes me want to imagine me taking a summer morning or day walk to watch the enormous lake just to expand my soul with great beauty, peace, adventurous, and happiness
I am SO incredibly thankful to be born in 1993 :) With this music i can look back on my childhood (living somewhere else where i haven't been in something like 6 years now) way better than i normally can, and realize how awesome it was! Nowadays things are just so... *Sigh*
All kids today care about is stunning visuals. They don't see the true master piece in a good story line. I loved the 8 bit music too. Wow listen to me I sound like a grandfather right now. late 90's ftw
did you know that in HG/SS, after beating all sixteen gym leaders in both regions you can get an item that changes the background music back to original GSC music.
This music nearly makes me throw up every time I hear it. Not because it's bad. The music is stunning, it raises nostalgia levels to a nearly toxic amount, gives me goosebumps all over, startles and paralyzes me in one go. It's just too much awesomeness for my body to handle.
Yeah, I like to think that between red/blue/yellow music and gold/silver/crystal music there's a quantity vs. quality decision.Almost every route in r/b/y has it's own music but in g/s/c 10 routes may have the same theme but it's much more complex.I prefer gsc.
This is exactly how I feel. Pokemon isn't the same when it's not in 8-bit music. I couldn't put it better. I mean, Remixes by themselves are great! But in-game, it just doesn't work.
@smbz1 I'd go as far to say that it's an extremely succesful and effective remix/remake of the original score. Some songs sound better now that they're revamped, but a song like Goldenrod's theme sounds better in the old GB version (mainly because they mellowed the theme down too much).
@Gamexpertvids Because the HG/SS mix of the Lake Of Rage theme is BAD. To me, it betrays the feeling of the song-losing the purity of it by rambling on here and there pointlessly. I dislike rambling badly enough to desire to possess Jason Mraz' vocal cords without the rest of him attached. The fact that it's happened to perhaps my favorite non-battle theme from all of Pokemon? Not. Fucking. Acceptable.
I completely agree.
this music makes me cry. what a wonderful childhood :')

Still coming back to this video and getting shivers
This tune is so fantastic, I'm surprised the soundtrack didn't get more praise and acclaim.
Fankly, this route music gave me the most feelings of nostalgia. LOVE SO MUCH.
This must be my favourite of all Pokemon tracks from all generations. The first few seconds alone are just.... *stands and salutes*
Nostalgia overload...
made me cry of nostalgia
This is the all time best song ever in pokemon
This gave me chest pain from nostalgia.
Quite possibly my favorite.
this melody makes me cry, fuck so many memories of my childhood
I got the "good music" goosebumps. Fucking love this game. Will always be my all time favorite. So many memories.

Gyarados are so badass that they got their own lake and theme music.
Official anthem of my childhood...
I love this music.
I love this song!
Best song ever in Pokemon Silver/Gold/Crystal.

This and the 26-27 are the best route song in a Pokèmon game ever.
this game was an adventure

Yes I have lost the save data, but I remember the good old times. This music makes my cry...

@traviscooke7 You got that right.

@Homestar98 I just hated how you have to wait until the end of the game to play the old music :C
It should have been an option from the beginning.
Fucking awesome. I remember catching the red gyrados and thinking I was the fucking man. Pokemon rules superior always.
@pokedude07
I still have my gameboy but my silver broke and I was sad for a few days. Even if i buy a new one it won't be the same :'(
the version in lg/fr is great, but this is epic!
@Homestar98 Wait... what? I can switch to the GB version of the music? When?! How?!
there is no beating the classic 8 bit themes
@chuggaaconroy
i agree too.
btw, love ur vids chuggaa!!
@HunterTyrannus 1st place - this
2nd place - FRLG remix.
3rd place - HGSS does not deserve this, so Emerald remix!
@traviscooke7 except for HG/SS of course! =D
@Charmolution
Well, the only DS Pokemon game I intend to buy is Black, so.
@traviscooke7
idk...
LGFR was pretty good.
You mean Lake of Rage :)
@96vicki I disagree but sometimes I do prefer the originals.
@HunterTyrannus i think the one from fire red and leaf green is better than the one from HG SS
i am now so upset because pokemon silver broke
but im also please HG/SS Is comming out
how am i feeling im confused?
@alferxxx Hahaha. xD
Yeah, I know what you mean.
:')
ok then. and as long as u dont hate the colts.. we're cool here...=P
Lake Rage not Garadose lake
You grew up, that's what happen.
Problem players?
@HunterTyrannus the one from gold and silver?
not NEARLY as good as the one from FireRed and LeafGreen
@lilkidfire
This music is better. :P In fact I am annoyed every time I hear the remakes of FRLG & HGSS.
@Gamexpertvids

Hg/Ss ruined the soundtrack oO
