The challenges correspond with each member of the coven...and the elements they represent. Jen is the potions witch and the first trial was water. Alice is the protection witch and the second trial was fire. Lillia is the divination witch and her element is air I believe. So she will probably be next. Then Rio is their "Green witch" so we will see if she pulls through for the earth trial. I think we are at the point in the show where there's going to be some exposition and a change in pace to increase the stakes. Otherwise the formula is about to get stale. Teen won't have his own trial because he's not part of the coven. He's just a bystander. Agatha for sure will have some huge trials ahead of her but idk if she will face one that the road throws at her individually or if something else will show up. I actually found the imagery of Alice fighting the curse with her mother's song and her own magic really powerful. Once she really acknowledged that the curse was real and she could see it she gained the courage to fight it head on. You could see her fingertips glowing orange while playing the piano. Her newfound courage let her keep her composure even when the curse perched back on her and her magic was strong enough to burn it away. It gave me chills.
The song was so cool so the most popular version of the ballad mom did was a protection spell she used to protect her lineage . That is why her mom sold her catalog to give as much access out to have as many ppl singing it at any given time to keep Singing it to keep the protection spell going for her daughter and etc even after she is gone . It was so beautiful to protect her kids even in the death . Alice passed her challenge but I do not know if it is legit done in the real world or just in this pocket dimension . 😅 Each challenge is on a different discipline of witchcraft , we have not gotten to the green witch challenge which is why they needed to summon one otherwise they wouldn’t have passed the upcoming green witch challenge . Lol Sharon is not a witch she is the Madison of this serious except Madison met and made a deal with mephisto lol

I wish they would have went with desperate housewives which is a similar aesthetic and Disney property . However option challenge and she passed hers besides giving Sharon two doses for the double wine thanks to Agatha lol Not drinking her share . 😅
lol mephisto is the marvel devil 😈 basically and he one of the most powerful demons in the marvel universe and is insidious and very the devil but not as powerful as the elder god chthon who integral to Wanda chaos magic and the material in the darkhold it’s his spells he is like the originator of dark magic. Now , mephisto facilitates a lot of the evil and misery and often moves the book along to users for evil. Mephisto ties heavy to ghost rider and to Wanda and to Agatha . So this name drop is major because it ties to the hood and iron heart and also blade and midnight suns.
Agreed! The script is in general too convenient and this episode is a little weak. However i like Agathas over the top acting, i actually think Aubrey Plaza's acting is too much? Not even too much yet not well though out like Agatha's overacting
