"Like a normal person I opened it as soon as it arrived" 😂. Superb! Love the humour and the project looks great.

Thought provoking, inspiring project. The paper folding looks very laborious, you put a lot of work into this!

Very, very cute. Informative and funny. I’d like to make this. The hardest part for me would be the paper folding. I’d like to wake up to this lamp. Thanks for sharing.

The paper folding was the relaxing bit really - once you've done a few there is not much mental effort required.

I really like how you do things. It feels like we can talk all day and night, or even for a month.
Question though, is it possible to add a diffuser for the light to give it a uniform spread? that way it will only glow as one source of light, then the shadow patterns won't be overlayed?

    Really enjoyed this video!
I've played with all of these elements individually but had never thought to combine them! Thanks for the inspiration. Subscribed!

Nice video, it looks very cool! I also have a ledstrip attached to my wall and connected to my raspberry pi and i’ve written some code for all kinds of effects. My only problem is that i dont know how im supposed to control the lights from my phone. My only solution right now is to run the python script manually. But what i want is that i can control the lights from my phone just like you can control for example philips hue lights. Any suggestions?

I used Mechanize to look up the program required in a JSON file on my website. Next time I might try to use Lighttpd similar to how is shown here... www.instructables.com/Toggle-an-LED-Via-the-Web-With-Raspberry-Pi/
      Good luck!

You should look up how to use `scp` or `rsync` to sync code to your pi

Thank you - connecting remotely was a bit of a hack! I'll look into this for my next project.

Yeah, far simpler methods possible, but a good learning exercise.
