My very first bench was a FlyBird FID bench that folded up and I absolutely loved it. It totally did the job. I did eventually outgrow it and I moved on to the REP BlackWing. I gave the FlyBird bench to a relative and he is still using it today. That thing totally over produced. If this rack is anything like their benches, it will absolutely perform for you.
I think these kinds of racks are good for most people, I just think companies need to be clear about that being able to to hold 2,000 lbs is not the same as working out with 300+ lbs. I have had two similar racks (I still have one that my kids use) and they both would sway and shake under heavy loads, anything over 300 lbs. I broke my safeties on one when I had a bad day and dropped 500 off my back. The safeties bent like ....something that bends easy. Good review. Keep it up. Ignore the haters.
Another well done video. It looks nice, but the limited weight capacity and wobble are deal breakers especially at this price. Its a shame because it appears to be one inch hole spacing.
Another plus of the Blackwing over the AB-5200 is Rep has told me the leg curl attachment for both plates and cables will be released later this year. It is in final prototyping and attaches where the leg roller goes now.
I love the color scheme, and the functional trainer aspect of the rack. I hate the orientation of the uprights on these cheaper 2x3 racks, attempting to give the illusion of a 3x3 rack sacrifices the ability to use attachments from Titan and Rouge. But for the price it does everything 🏋♂️
I get a kick out of the names of some of these racks and their companies. If I was in that market, I would go with the REP 1000 series over one of these fly by night companies.
Feierdun has barbells that sound impressive on paper for the price and I'd love to see if they remotely hold up in reviews. Though I'm not a fan of deep threaded barbell sleeves. Its nice to see them trying new things but all these companies seem to follow a lot of the same copy paste formula that others use witb very minor changes to stand out. I still think I'd be better off starting with a full 3x3 rack from Signature Fitness for under $700. But until I'm a homeowner, I am stuck without a power rack and having fun watching your videos. Thanks for reviewing these.
@@NoFate247 with apartment living I'm stuck to what I can comfortably keep in a 3ft by 7ft space, the rest of the place owned by my wife and baby boy. So for now I own a Total Gym XLS (basically a versitile bodyweight cable machine), two spinlock dumbells with 110lbs worth of standard plates, a bowflex adjustable kettlebell, a doorframe multi-grip pull up bar, foldable flatbench, resistance bands and just recently I added a 5ft Olympic barbell with 45s, 10s, 5s and 2.5lb plates and slowly adding more weight. Its all stacked in a spare closet or under my side of the bed, so its a bit of set up and breakdown each time but it only takes me a couple minutes. But I'd rather have what I've got than give up or do less. I can still do all my main lifts just not at heavy weights that I can't control or risk dropping, so its a lot of higher reps in the 15 to 35 range but its still working for me and I'll get to about 285lbs of weight by the time I'm out of space to grow my home gym. Once I have a home; you know I'll be getting a good power rack, and then I'll save for a serious set up like your Rep rack and a good functional trainer or maybe Rep Adonis, etc I just need a garage to build it all up in. I want the full monte one day: flooring, lighting, much better equipment. Your videos keep me dreaming and excited so keep up the good work.
Comprehensive. Seems a reasonable budget option. May as well make a half rack with longer safeties if you are going to limit the internals that much IMO…
Why do I watch reviews for budget racks I’ll never buy? I like seeing what’s out there and if any of them start to standout. Right now, they still look to be a dime a dozen.

I enjoy the review more when you trash a budget POS, but you have more cred when you give a positive review to a budget item. Good review.
I just call it like I see it. But it is easier to just trash something when it comes to making the video
