I believe the date of death is that of Johann Martin Spiess, not Joseph Spiess' one. I can't find almost nothing about Joseph Spiess, but it seems he died in 1730.
@@cuentaeliminada3838Yea the first two didn’t remind me of conventional Vivaldi. The first two remind me of Vivaldi’s very late 5 years when he adopted the Late Baroque/Classical sound. The third mvmt sounds similar to the Dresden concerti by him to Pisendel

Many thanks for tracking down that info. I could find almost nothing about him except that Bach wrote some violin pieces for him.

Never heard of Spiess. He must have been an admirer of Vivaldi’s style, just like his mentor was, especially that third movement 😊
