My brother is a seminarian and he advised me not to buy religious medals or even rosaries to some ordinary stores. He said that some of the makers don't have good intentions and those are the bad items.
I was bought a medal and chain when I was 19 by the lady I would eventually marry. Although our marriage ended I always kept the medal safe and never took it off. It’s been on my neck for nigh on 24 years now. I took it off to look at it and I’m now sick at heart as it has some of the blemishes you described. It has a star on top of the crucifix, as opposed to either side. The 12 stars have 6 points. The dagger seems to be behind the heart. Mary’s face seems odd in it. And the inscription is not the same. I have always wanted to pass this on to my eldest son when my time would come. I’m devastated about it. I have taught my daughter to seek it on my neck every time she would be in my arms. She would look for mama Mary. And kiss it. I feel so sad right now.
I'm so sorry to hear this. If you have not watched my second Miraculous Medal video I highly encourage you to do so, as it answers a lot of questions about design element specifics and individual discernment. I pray that it is helpful. Blessings to you!
@@cianmoriarty7345 thank you. I have since got a new one. I felt naked without it on my neck. My wee baby girl still kisses it. We call it Mama Mary and if you ask her where mam Mary is she gos straight to it for a kiss. What a blessing.
Chin up, the kingdom of heaven is within, the medal may have been fake but the joy and smile it put on your daughter’s face was real. Get a new one or get something that symbolizes your belief. It’s a pendent, a trinket nothing more, nothing less. Love those around you and love yourself from within. Be the person Christ inspires you to be and you’ll be ok. Your daughter looks up to you. Not a piece of metal. Be her hero and lead by example as I’m sure you already try to do. As you seem like a genuine and nice guy.
Oh my goodness!!! I can’t believe that this is even a thing. Thank you for bringing awareness to this. I’ll be sharing this video with my Catholic friends.
Ive seen the real proper miraculous metal shut down abortion clinic and fortune teller so called buisness BY THE PROPER ONE COMPARE IT TO THE ORIGINAL IMAGE HAVE IT BLESSED IN THEE OLD RITE
Yes I had a couple of fake miraculous medal months ago. I bought those medals online. Lucky me to view and listened in TH-cam channel how to know if I'm wearing fake or real medals. Actually this is my second time listening to about this. I put those medals in a pit outside our garden after pouring holy water on it. Thanks for the great info. God bless from Philippines.
@@CatholicMailman can you please elaborate as I have bought many to distribute. All bought from St Paul's centre, run by nuns who are unaware of this fraud.
@@kyriaeleison9368 in response to your comment, I had been posting a TH-cam video explaining the corrupted st Benedict Medal but it gets deleted always. Please google “The Medallion of St. Benedict - true and false

Thank you for posting this video. I just started wearing a medal a few days ago and it's fake! Everything looked normal but on the back there was a star directly over the cross. I'm going to break it and throw it away. God is so good to show me this video. I'm wasn't a subscriber but I am now. God bless.
Don’t brake a blessed medal and or crucifix ! Because it’s blessed, the Vatican ask to bury it in the soil or burning it or give it to your priest, they know what to do and will do it for you!
TY for this awareness...I saw a fake one on the front of a podium of an order of friars...i'm sure they ignored me on my complaint...but i really could not believe it! We all need to be more aware of tge evil designs of
I have a 14k gold medal that only has the front image and nothing on the back so I bought a 4 way medal that has the correct images on the front and back. Both are blessed and I wear them together. O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️🔥
Hi. Here I am, 4th August 2024. My son has a birthday soon. I was racking my brains as to what to get him and I started to see a lot of vids about The Miraculous Medal. Checked it out on the net, found them on Amazon, bought one. About to switch off for the night, I loaded a new TH-cam page ready for the morning. Right at the top of the feed, in the middle, is YOUR vid. Watched some (first few mins), then decided to watch the rest tomorrow (today). Went to bed, got up, got the medal, checked the medal and, guess what? I'll be sending it back tomorrow. Right hand of the virgin missing, rays from behind. I thought well, I'm at church today (Sunday), I'll get the priest to bless it, job done. Then I thought, but I'm still funding evil. So, back it goes. Thank you for this. I'm not half way through vid 1 yet, vid 2 is next in line. ( It just seems... strange? Prophetic? I don't know. I buy a medal in good faith, about to close down for the night and, well. Was my Guardian Angel shouting at me 'LOOK AT THIS' ? Like you say, better safe than sorry). Thanks again.
Thanks so much for your comment. I definitely believe that things don't happen by coincidence but by God's Providence. He's always speaking to us if we pay attention! I'm so thankful that you found my videos and followed the conviction you felt about your MM. I know it can be inconvenient, but it's so important to listen to the convictions we feel from the Lord. I'm sorry to hear that it didn't seem authentic. Sending prayers that you find a holy and authentic medal soon for your son...they are such a blessing to have and what a wonderful gift to give him! Blessings to you! ❤️
I just threw one out, it was so evil with upside down stars on the back and a monster face of the Blessed Mother, the words were all jumbled and never noticed it before seeing this video. My husband threw it into a sewer drainage ditch away from our home, no houses around, I put holy water on it first, I never knew of this before, I am now wearing my mom's old worn out one from the 1950s, it was blessed when I was a little girl.
Wow! Thank you! I just discovered because of your video that I had purchased fake sterling silver MM!! The stars on the back were six pointed stars! Her face looked like a traditional alien face and she had 10 stars around her head instead of a halo. I assume that is bad too. Her gown looks odd as well. So, I hope I can return them. I was going to give them as gifts to my family for Christmas. I’m horrified and frustrated. I am grateful for coming across this video when I did. I was going to get them blessed this week.
I have so many all around my home and have given so many away that i would not be able to know where to look. I plead the blood over all these medals and i like you really check all art sacramentals and have found evil paintings behind holy paintings by using a magnifying glass and i showed some of this srt to my parish priest. This is really EXCELLANT PROGRAM.
Indeed! She knows that people who wear the medal have faith and trust in God and her, which is what she really wants. Some people sweat the small stuff, like worrying about their medals instead of focusing on God. This causes more stress. It's another thing to worry about instead of just praying and talking to God.
Thank you for the video. I got two medals in my possession as of now: one in silver I bought from my church’s piety shop many years ago and one in a very light golden colour given to me by my friend who came back from her pilgrimage to Medjugorje and Our Lady of Lourdes in France and to my surprise it has a star right on top of the cross and lightly under the heart of Jesus. Thank you for sharing this otherwise I won’t know the difference. God bless you and keep you and may Our Lady shower you with love too. 🙏🌹
If you haven't yet watched my follow-up Part 2 video regarding the Miraculous Medal, please check it out! I provide answers, including some input from a local Catholic priest, relating to if the blessing by a Catholic priest or deacon of a cursed Miraculous Medal overrides the curse and allows you to keep it and continue wearing it. You can find it under my Videos with the title "All About the Miraculous Medal Part 2...Answers to all of Your Questions" Hope it helps! Blessings to you!
Not always true I bought at my church repository. The rosary came from Autom, was made in China and is a fake medal. So can't assume it's authentic. Praise be Jesus Christ
I am a protestant convert and have been researching consecration to mary through Maximilian kolbie and mentioned to my kids that i would love to have a miraculous medal, but money is tight. And that very Sunday, some ladies set up a prayer table in front to hand out blessed rosaries and such each of my children and i were able to get a Miraculous medal (a correct one and blessed) free along with a crusifix they could each wear (which made my 7 year old sons day as he has been asking for a crusifix necklace for awhile it was just such a blessing that Our Lady provided something i had just voiced . (Sadly I did find a fake one and soaked it in holy water and disposed of it. I did not bury it on our property as we have been having a real issue of spiritual warfare and I was not going to take a chance on anything hindering the spiritual side of things.)
This is so amazing!! Our Blessed Mother is always looking out for us and ready to help. 💙🙏🏻 This makes me so happy! Thank you for sharing and God bless you and your family.
Just for clarification, in the vision of the Blessed Mother the light emanating from her hands didn’t originate from her hands, but from Diamond rings she was wearing. You can’t see them on the medal so therefor most people don’t know about the rings. You can read about the vision in detail in the book “The Second Greatest Story Ever Told”. It’s about the life of St. Pope John Paul II and his influence from the Miraculous Medal.
@@janec9850 that’s because you didn’t hear the full version of her apparition. Rings with diamonds aren’t much different than when she has came with a crown full of diamonds
Thank you for this really important and informative video. I will check my medals but I'm pretty sure mine are "legit." I subscribe to Dr. Taylor Marshall's channel, too. I believe I watched his video on the MM. God bless you and let's all remain vigilant! ❤
Don't mean to add controversy here, I understand this video is about real-evil medals going about with the purpose to do harm. I have in my possesion a pectoral cross made for the clergy (an abbot or a bisshop), which contains a 2nd class relic of a Bisshop Saint, on the inside of the cross 2 tiny medals are included (hard soldered into the cross locket), one with the Sacred Heart of Jesus medal, the other with the Miraculeous Medal of the Holy Virgin. To get to the point: On inspection of the medal with a magnifier, I've noticed that the stars are not spread according to the standard and the stars are not 5 pointed stars. All elements are there, (which is quite incredible for the 3-4mm size of the medal) However I can assure you this cross was designed, made, sanctioned and blessed late 1800's beginning 1900's by the church in Spain, so ... I do believe there must be models out there that are not fake or evil per se, however caution is advised (alot of Santeria-cult Madonna's are out there that have nothing to do with the Holy Virgin, Theotokos)
Thank you for your video on the genuine Miraculous Medal and the counterfeit ones. In the video, with the close up one of the genuine medal, I noticed that the stars are upside down, with two points on top and one point on the bottom. I've heard that this position symbolizes the horns of the evil one. Some of the stars were positioned this way on your genuine medal. I have a medal with all of the stars right side up (1 point at the top of the star and 2 points at the bottom of the star). Please advise if one should ALSO take into account the orientation of each star. Thank you for your time.
I'm allergic to pretty much every metal known to man so I have to be satisfied with carrying my medal in my wallet I do believe in Mary's love and mercy so I firmly believe that I still receive the graces.
There are new alliages that are hypo allergenic. We can even get stainless steel medals now. Also gold plated. I used to paint mine with clear nail polish. Finall got to where I could pay for a gold one. Not allergic!❤
@granmabern5283 Sadly I am allergic to stainless steel, surgical steel, and pretty much everything except titanium and gold 18k or purer, but I do thank you for the information, may God smile on you always.
I have a very old antique one about 2 inches long and made of brass. It reads "Hail Mary ever virgin and conceived without sin pray for us who implore thy aid." It has the traditional markings on it. Most medals I see end with pray for us who have recourse to thee. So the wording is different with the same meaning but like I said it is a very old medal.
Keep in mind there's two (2) versions of Miraculous Medal that were given by Our Lady. to St. Catherine Labourre: (1) the version that's in use, and (2) another one that's referred to as "Our Lady of the Globe" and shows her holding the world in her hands. It was actually #2 that was supposed to be used for the medal, and St. Catherine was very disappointed when the priest decided to use #1 instead. To my knowledge, #2 has never been used in a medal. Nevertheless, both versions are legit.
@@sylviabargas3340it’s nothing but a rumour unless you can give a solid reference. Like, from Saint Catherine. Which will never happen. Your statements are illogical and Our Lady is not illogical.
@sylviabargas3340 If you want to see where it all started going wrong for the jews read Deuterinomy 13 1-4. God let's these things happen until he brings judgment then he says let your gods protect you. The jews constantly went after the balls all the while saying "we have not chased after the baals" "he is not angry with us" they also worshipped the queen of heaven in the past, read Jeremiah 7 and 44. But read Jeremiah and Isaiah if you want a good overview because those 2 also have a bunch of prophecy pertaining to the end because the same stuff is going on within the context of gods church but they never knew him
Great video. There's just one thing i wanted to clarify (which you probably address in your next video). The year was never required or even mentioned by Mary in the vision. That was an nonessential addition by the church as a way to commemorate the year the vision took place. The first medals were made 2 years after the vision in Lourdes. It is perfectly in alignment with the vision to have a medal with everything described in the video without the year. The original site in Lourdes that made the first medals still makes them. And they don't add the year to make it more accurate to the original vision....so, whether yours has the year or doesn't, it's all good. Two of mine have the year, but the one i got from the original site doesn't. I love them all.
Thanks so much for your comment and thank you as well for this incredible information. I was not aware of the specifics that you mention and are blessed to learn from you. ♥️ I do state in the second video that in regards to the elements of design on the Miraculous Medal, whether the medals are authentic or not based on them not having certain elements or having certain (non-evil) elements, will come down to personal discernment. I appreciate you and your support! Blessings to you!
I watched it after writing my comment. Very good second video. I appreciate how you answer so many questions. I think the priest explains things well. I also wanted to add, in case someone can't afford to buy one, The Association of Miraculous Medals offers free blessed medals to the public. (Yep, they bless them at their altar before sending). They even offer them in bulk for free to anybody that wants to gift them to others. Their mission is to teach about the medals and share miraculous stories. I never ordered one from them before, so decided to last night after watching your video 😊. I'll still have the one I get blessed before giving it away as a personal preference. They have an image on their site of what their medals look like, which has everything they should. Have a blessed day and thanks for all you do
After watching your video on how to tell which is the right Miraculous Medal and which is a fake, it was a lesson in humility for me. I love details in many things and occasions. The 9ct gold 'miraculous medal' I wore for over a decade had a serious flaw - a star on the top and the bottom where a gap should be on the medal's reverse! I saw some with gaps and some with the stars adjusted to fill those gaps ... Now, I think of those adjustments as affronts to the design prescribed by Our Lady herself at the Rue Du Bac! I remember one with Our Lady as The Virgin of the Globe on the obverse of what was purported to be a 'miraculous medal' from a piety shop years ago! Now, before purchasing any, I check more carefully for details on Miraculous Medals. I have replaced my fake with a Miraculous Medal with every detail spot on and in 9ct gold. It's just waiting to be blessed by a priest. Thank you for your video. May Our Lord and His Holy Mother bless you.
Thought for the day; does the medal itself give protection, or does it act as a reminder to invoke the blessed mother to intercede for us. O Mary conceived without sin pray for us who have recourse to thee.
Thanks for your comment! The medals do not hold any power within themselves, i.e. they are not magic. They also do not confer grace the way the seven sacraments do. The sacramentals prepare us and thereby enable us to receive God’s grace. Yes, the Miraculous Medal is a special medal given to us by Our Blessed Mother that asks for her intercession, as the prayer on the medal clearly asks her to pray for us.
Thank you so much for the valuable information as I had no idea that fake ones were out there. I will have to look through my medals and check. Can anyone please recommend where I can purchase a full set of rosary beads, please, with the prayer? TYIA
My brothers and sisters went through all of our MM’s and found several fake ones. And there were some that came from a well respected Catholic company. My sister called the company and let them know and they were very happy that she told them. The best thing to do, if you find a fake one, is to destroy it and throw it away. The important thing is to destroy it, so nobody else can use it. If you don’t destroy it, it could possibly turn up somewhere and someone will think that they have a real miraculous medal.
I just found this medal yesterday Sept 19 in my Airbnb in Warsaw Poland. My mom is so happy and sent me an article “Vatican finally approves Medjugorje devotion”. I used to be catholic then Christian. I never felt the connection with Mary that my mom and wife have so I never included her in my prayers. I never understood why pray to her when you can go straight to the source. But I always did my three Hail Marys just because I’ve always done them since I was kid. I do them in my sleep without concious effort. I’ve always debated with them saying “I respect Mary but why not just pray directly to God”? But I’ve always kept the door open saying, “Mary if you want me to know you then I’m open to that”. I’m not sure what she wants from me but I’m going to wear the medal next to my Jesus piece.
Thanks for your comment! Yes...local Catholic gift shops can be a great option...I still recommend looking over every medal though, regardless of where it's purchased as we should always be proactive and aware of exactly what we are wearing. Blessings to you!
Just checked mine, on the back mine has a star at the top and bottom (12 o'clock and 6 o'clock ) positions. The sacred heart does not have the crown of thorns, On the front side Mary's hands appear to be holding out her cape, no rays.
@@maryivancie5445 Its hard to tell I have been wearing it for years and it is worn down. You can not see the date on the bottom, if it was ever there. I am going to take it away from my house and bury it. I stopped wearing it when I saw the stars. To tell the truth my mood had been better.

Pour moi j'ai découvert pour la première fois la médaille miraculeuse quand j'étais petit enfant ❤ C'est un moment merveilleux pour moi ❤ Je vais vous raconter dans mon prochain passage mon expérience personnelle !
I was given an Amethyst beaded Rosary for Christmas 2023 that a friend had purchased on Amazon. It had a bogus Miraculous Medal! It was manufactured by HANLIN CC. I also purchased one from Ghirelli Rosary Company and it too had a bogus M.M. My husband & I didn't want to bury them on our property, so he took them to the boundary of our farm to land not owned by anyone, where there are trees and buried it out there. I thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention.

What if every thing is correct on the Medal but at the end of her hands there are no rays? I have a large Medal for a man says made in Italy is it still laget without rays? Can someone please let me know? Thanks
Thank you for this informative video. After inspecting my Miraculous Medal I saw that mine also has 12 stars on the front of the medal surrounding the head of Mary. I also cannot clearly see her hands and the light looks to be coming from behind her hands I also cannot clearly see her feet crushing the serpent. I will be looking for new, authentic medal now. Thank you again! God bless you and keep you safe.
Why not show the counterfeit medals you say you had? You helpfully showed what a medal should look like. I have yet to see a fake Miraculous Medal in-person. I have seen poorly Photoshopped images of alleged medals online, but would have like to see your real world examples in your testimony. God bless you and yours :)
Thanks so much for your comment. 😊 I prefer to instead focus on the elements that make up a true and authentic miraculous medal so that regardless of which tricks the devil tries to use and which new things he tries to sneak onto a medal, you will be able to spot a phony right away! Blessings to you!
I'm a fairly new Trad Catholic & i recently, found out the best thing to identify the fake ones out there are if the stars aren't correct. If there is a star above the cross instead of to the sides, it indicates Masonry. Get rid of them immediately.
It's sort of like how federal treasury agents don't learn what counterfeit money looks like: they just memorize perfectly what real money looks like, then any differences are obvious.
Thanks so much for your comment. So sorry to hear about your medal, but glad that this video was helpful for you. If you are in need of a new necklace and are unsure of where to look, I do provide some good options in my 2nd Miraculous Medal video, along with answering questions. Blessings to you!
I only purchase my medals from two places one is the Catholic Company or the Catholic Supply from St. Louis And I usually have them blessed after I receive them
I would highly suggest that no matter where you purchase them that you check them over. Sadly, sometimes companies just blindly trust who they are purchasing the medals from or aren't even aware of the unauthentic medals out there. It's always best to know what you are wearing. Thanks for your comment! 🙏🏻 Blessings to you!
Wow. This is wild. Edit: oh wow, that prayer- "Mary, mother of Jesus, be a mother to me now" is absolutely beautiful. I'm not yet a Catholic, but day by day I'm becoming. This prayer. Thank you. I believe the Holy Spirit has guided me to this prayer today. Thank you father.
Prayers for you in your continued conversion . It is such a beautiful prayer isn't it? I love that it's been a blessing to you. It is one of my favorites along with "Jesus, be my peace" and "Jesus, I trust in You"...such simple but powerful prayers. Blessings to you!
I have this miraculus medal with star above the cross & M, then a star below the 2 hearts. 12 total stars. But this medal distributed to us by the priest after the mass here in Manila, Philippines..
Thanks for your comment. Please watch my second Miraculous Medal video...it should answer all of your questions and provide some additional guidance. Blessings to you!
Regardless fake or not if our Mother is on there She Will protect. Even if ‘cursed’ no. She will still prevail. Don’t insult her. Yes check medal and change of course But do not believe evil will get you because of it- she would never allow that . God bless
I had no clue about all of this, meaning distortions and twisting of the miraculous medal. Thank you for this video. You are beautiful if you don't mind my saying, and I do apologize if this is an unoriginal question, but are you originally from South Carolina? I'm not hearing a coastal, piedmont, or other southern accent.
I just bought some miraculous medals from Amazon to give to my children. The medals have a very dark background color that looks like either a dark navy blue or even black at first glance, but in the light, the color is actually a very dark purple. They were described as having a purple background rather than the traditional blue for Mary. I also noticed that the date, 1830, is not present on the medal, and the words surrounding Our Lady are barely legible, even after examining them with a bright light. Would you consider them inauthentic? I still have the option to return them. My main concern is the missing date of 1830. I believe the inscription is correct, but I have very poor vision. Thank you...
I'm sorry for my delay in responding...if you haven't already watched my Part 2 video, I highly suggest that you do, as I answer a lot of these questions. Ultimately, it must come down to your own personal conviction and what you feel you should do regarding the medals in your possession. Some medals don't have evil elements, but are different from the original medal Mary gave to us, either by having missing elements or added elements. In those cases, it's up to you whether you want to wear a truly authentic medal or are okay with wearing something that isn't. There are a lot of medals that are made more for fashion, and there's nothing wrong with these, as long as they are free of any evil (oftentimes hidden) elements...as long as you recognize that's all they are is fashion. Hope this helps! God bless you for spreading this wonderful devotion to your children.
@@catholiccarolinamom Thank you so much for your advice concerning the medals. I decided to return them to Amazon after all... They are gone! I had also noticed that the rays of light from Mary's hands were missing... The medals were actually pretty, especially the beautiful chain and clasp...but I decided it wasn't worth the risk... I felt so much better returning them... Thank you, again for your reply!
Hello ... I just bought an hour ago my miraculously medal seens i devoted to virgin mary.. I want to show u.. I just confused that the prayer is different from the original.. Pls help me with this.. It's say, REGINA SINE LABE ORIGINALLI concepta ora pro nobis...
That is the same prayer in Latin. The shape, while not the traditional shape, is okay, as the medals are made in various shapes/styles, which doesn't make them fake or evil...just not traditional. Thanks so much for your comment. Blessings to you.
Actually, I think I saw something demonic on the medal you showed at 13:29 on this video. It's the back of the medal. The two stars at the bottom of the medal, under the hearts of Jesus and Mary. These two stars have the one point facing downwards, they're stars turned upside down. The single point should be facing upwards, two sidewards, and two downwards. When the star is turned upside down like this, it's a symbol of the goat head. I have a Miraculous Medal that was given to me by the person who conducted the RCIA class I attended, so I'm confident this medal is good, and the two stars at the bottom are in the correct position, with the two bottom points facing downward, not turned upside down with the single point facing down.
This medal is beautiful, but I don't see the stars around Mary's head. It could just be they are too small and not5 coming through well on the video. I've been looking for an authentic medal for months and cannot fine one that is affordable. Any suggestions?
If ANYTHING that you've had blessed by a priest needs to be parted with, I implore you to never break it, please, just simply burry it and say the Lord's Prayer, Hail Mary and Glory Be; either before or after you've buried it. May God Bless you.
Did anyone see the Golden Orb that floated through the picture on her left side at 1:06 - 1:08… Angels are always with us. Sent to us by the Heavenly Father & Holy Mother & by the Power of the Holy Spirit in Christ. Psalms 23:4 “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” In nomine Patris et Filii et Spiritus Sancti. Amen. As for corrupted medals, these are the deeds of those possessed by ill minds & hearts. Pray for them for they know not what they do, & that what they are actually doing is to themselves. They may be likened to wounded animals striking out at anything that they feel threatening, in fear.
One more reason to get them blessed. You can bless them with the sign of the Cross and Holy Water, until you can get them blessed by a Catholic priest. Some churches have one day of the month where everyone brings stuff to get blessed.
Are you referring to a Miraculous Medal on a rosary? If so, yes...this would be for all MMs. As I stated in my video though, there are many pieces of jewelry that aren't intended to be authentic and are made more for the beauty of the piece, which is totally fine to wear. It's just imperative that any of your MMs, wherever they are (rosaries, bracelets, necklaces, etc.), that they do not contain elements of evil and that you are aware of what is preferred on an authentic MM, as given to us by Mother Mary. Hope this helps! Blessings to you!
Very interesting. I received this one from Sr. Briege McKenna years ago. This was supposedly kissed by the Blessed Mother. I am looking at the back. I think that the stars are squished on there but there are 12. It also looks like the put the Rosary on there. This is just the back
Thanks so much for your comment. I wouldn't be too worried about it, as long as the stars have five points and there are twelve of them in total. Also, there are quite a few variations from the original (Vachette) design that Mary gave to us that are still good...as long as there aren't six sided stars and other things (like I discussed in my video) added to a medal and as long as the main elements of the medal are present (as Mary instructed them to be), it should be okay. Blessings to you!
I have came across a false miraculous medal with two sacred hears and no immaculate heart, that was the only fault on it. Most I have are brought from a church shop (quality is very low), and that false one I got online. I'm wearing right now is another I got online. It was discoloring, so I removed the copper and gold plating yesterday - so it is plain white now.
Is a Miraculous Medal still proper if the Mary image on the front has 12 stars in her halo, but no rays coming from her fingers? I have found 2 small counterfeits, made of cheap metal. They both have a star at the top of the back, and the writing on the front is off. It isn't English, nor Latin, and the 1830 is missing. One has something unidentifiable next to Mary's upper arm, on the left. I broke the fakes, will submerge them in just enough Holy Water to cover them and then will throw them out. I'm just not sure about the one without the rays coming from Mary's hands, and 12 stars not just on the back (none on the top center) and 12 in her halo on the front. That's a big one and came from a very well-know Rosary seller. The medal was made in Italy. If it is fake, I will identify where I got it, because it is one of their best selling items.
I'm so glad that this video helped you identify two medals that were fake and that you disposed of them properly. As to your other medals, they may be completely valid and good...just not the original design of the Miraculous Medal as was given to us by Our Blessed Mother. If you see anything concerning that you think may lean towards an evil intent, my suggestion would be to dispose of it in the same way and find a medal that has all elements of the original design. Or, you could also seek advice from your parish priest. Thank you so much for your comment and for your support. Blessings to you!
I thanks for the heads up on My medal I just recently got my medal I ordered a stainless steel medal because it doesn't tarnish but when I checked it to see if it was real I noticed that it doesn't have the 1830 at the bottom and it doesn't have the the two hearts on the other side I remember the first time I wore it I got in trouble at work I so now I know and ordred another one very quickly thanks for Your Help !!!

I looked at some of my Miraculous Medals, and noticed that on one of them at the back, there is a star above the cross, and a star at the bottom below the two hearts, one for Jesus, and one for Mary. Also, it shows the 2 hearts joined by a bar through the top where the flames are. So, can anyone tell me if that particular Medal is a fake one. It does say that it’s from Italy. I would appreciate an answer to this. Thanks to all.
I apologize for my delayed response. If you haven't already watched my Part 2 video on the Miraculous Medal, I highly recommend it, as I answer a lot of these questions. Blessings to you!
Thank you for this. My Miraculous Medal have all these except for the prayer in front, which is "Regina Sine Labe Originali Concepta O.P.N." This is the Latin for "Queen conceived without original sin" (included in the Litany) and "O.P.N" is the abbreviation for "Ora Pro Nobis" meaning "Pray for us". Is this a valid medal? Thanks.

I have been clueless 😢😢😢 I have been wearing mine, which I adore. It doesn’t have anything on the back of it, and it look like she is standing on clouds on the front. Does this mean it is not a true miraculous medal or is it a bad one? I mean I can take the medal off and use elsewhere but I don’t want to if it’s bad. It has been blessed. Can someone please advise me?
Your medal isn't the original Miraculous Medal as per that which Our Blessed Mother gave to us (and that which Vacette designed), but there are many good and true variations of medal designs that exist and are worn, which don't make them bad, as long as they don't contain evil elements. As long as you don't see anything concerning, it is completely fine to wear. If you're still concerned about it, I suggest you seek advice from your parish priest. Thanks so much for your comment and support. Blessings to you!

mine looks to be more hand made (it is very, very old as it belonged to my grandfather when he was a child) the oval isn’t a perfect oval, it is an oval and it is perfect but there are very slight evenly spaced dull edges as to give it a very unique look. (12 edges in total, same number as the stars on the back except there’s 5 small edges on each side, one on top and one on bottom. The stars however are exactly as you described them. Theres no funny business in the imagery on the front or back, just a unique oval that makes it look hand made rather than smelted in an oval cast. 🤷♂

Thank you for the great information, I did not know about the fake medallions !
You are welcome!
Wow!
Thank you so much for your kind words. I am happy that this has been helpful for you, and I pray it brings awareness to many. Blessings to you!
If you are wearing your medal in good faith, Our Lady will still protect us
Indeed! She knows that people who wear the medal have faith and trust in God and her, which is what she really wants. Some people sweat the small stuff, like worrying about their medals instead of focusing on God. This causes more stress. It's another thing to worry about instead of just praying and talking to God.
Where do we read that in God's word?

I bought mine from the repository at church, all items bought by the church come from a regional supplier, trusted by the diocese.
Not always true I bought at my church repository. The rosary came from Autom, was made in China and is a fake medal. So can't assume it's authentic. Praise be Jesus Christ
I didn’t know that 😢. Thank you for the info.
I never heard of Mary wearing diamond rings.
@@janec9850 that’s because you didn’t hear the full version of her apparition. Rings with diamonds aren’t much different than when she has came with a crown full of diamonds

Thank you for this information
Thank you for your video on the genuine Miraculous Medal and the counterfeit ones. In the video, with the close up one of the genuine medal, I noticed that the stars are upside down, with two points on top and one point on the bottom. I've heard that this position symbolizes the horns of the evil one. Some of the stars were positioned this way on your genuine medal. I have a medal with all of the stars right side up (1 point at the top of the star and 2 points at the bottom of the star). Please advise if one should ALSO take into account the orientation of each star. Thank you for your time.
HI, THANK YOU FOR SHARING. MAY GOD BLESS YOU GREATLY. AMEN...

Thank you for sharing this information . We should pray our rosary incessantly and Our Blessed Mother will never fail to protect us.
You can always wear a holy scapular made of cloth. Hope this helps you and be blessed.

Who told you that nonsense?
@@janettedavis6627 It's not nonsense. You can look it up.

But read Jeremiah and Isaiah if you want a good overview because those 2 also have a bunch of prophecy pertaining to the end because the same stuff is going on within the context of gods church but they never knew him
The back of the medal you showed looks like an upside down star on the bottom so I would say it is a pentagram... am I wrong?
Thank you very much for that amazing knowledge you shared with us. God bless.
You are so very welcome. Thank you for your comment and many of God's Blessings to you!
Have a blessed day and thanks for all you do
Some benedict medals are not legible because they are too small and the /or the letters are not etched in properly, they are not effective.
Thank you, i have checked my medals and they are false from Italy.
Same here, so disheartening...
I'm so happy that this video was helpful. Thank you so much for your comment and for your support. Blessings to you!
Thank you for the information
Thank you so much for the valuable information as I had no idea that fake ones were out there.

Thank you so much for your comment and for contacting that company to let them know. Blessings to you!
This is why we should shop at our local stores.
Thanks for your comment! Yes...local Catholic gift shops can be a great option...I still recommend looking over every medal though, regardless of where it's purchased as we should always be proactive and aware of exactly what we are wearing. Blessings to you!
I have a better advice: go, buy a Bible and read about the true Mary - not the invented catholic one.
Just checked mine, on the back mine has a star at the top and bottom (12 o'clock and 6 o'clock ) positions. The sacred heart does not have the crown of thorns, On the front side Mary's hands appear to be holding out her cape, no rays.
I would be wary. The stars should not be at the very top and very bottom. Is she crushing a snake?
@@maryivancie5445 Its hard to tell I have been wearing it for years and it is worn down. You can not see the date on the bottom, if it was ever there. I am going to take it away from my house and bury it. I stopped wearing it when I saw the stars. To tell the truth my mood had been better.

Thank you for sharing...so sorry that this was your experience, but blessed to hear that you were aware and diligent. God's blessings in the new year!
@@catholiccarolinamom and may God bless you and your family in this new year as well. I really feel your video is vitally important for every Catholic to be aware of. So, I sat down last might and sent a text to the secretary of our Catholic Church & told her about your video & about one that Dr.Taylor Marshall did on about it as well. I am hoping she will find it bulletin worthy & inform our parishioners. Again, many thanks! ✝️. 💜
You could have taken the beads and restrung them into a more appropriate rosary.
You catholic wives and mothers are a shining light on a hill ! Luv you gals, may our Lord and our holy mother continue to bless you !
Thank you so much! God bless you!
What if every thing is correct on the Medal but at the end of her hands there are no rays? I have a large Medal for a man says made in Italy is it still laget without rays? Can someone please let me know? Thanks
Thanks so much for your question. I address this question and others in my Part 2 of the Miraculous Medal video. 🙂
thank you for this video.
Thanks for watching and for your support!
Thank you for this informative video. After inspecting my Miraculous Medal I saw that mine also has 12 stars on the front of the medal surrounding the head of Mary. I also cannot clearly see her hands and the light looks to be coming from behind her hands
I also cannot clearly see her feet crushing the serpent.
When I was a nurse in training we used a stethoscope to auscultate hundreds of normal heart beats first. The bad ones then were easy to spot.
It’s really a eucenemical matter
I found one around my neck, been wearing it for months! Had no idea.
Thanks so much for your comment. So sorry to hear about your medal, but glad that this video was helpful for you. If you are in need of a new necklace and are unsure of where to look, I do provide some good options in my 2nd Miraculous Medal video, along with answering questions. Blessings to you!
Good information Thanks
Thanks so much! Blessings to you!
I only purchase my medals from two places one is the Catholic Company or the Catholic Supply from St. Louis
And I usually have them blessed after I receive them
I would highly suggest that no matter where you purchase them that you check them over.
Thank you for your channel.
Thank you love your channel
Regardless fake or not if our Mother is on there She Will protect.
Even if ‘cursed’ no. She will still prevail. Don’t insult her.
Yes check medal and change of course But do not believe evil will get you because of it- she would never allow that . God bless
I have no medal but would like one, thanks for the info will be on lookout from a reputable source
Thanks so much for your comment and for your support!
I notice there is a mark on the back side of the medal on the left vertical bar of the 'M'. Is that significant?
My medal is real. Ive am graced by my holy Mother daily.
It's say,
REGINA SINE LABE ORIGINALLI concepta ora pro nobis...
That is the same prayer in Latin. The shape, while not the traditional shape, is okay, as the medals are made in various shapes/styles, which doesn't make them fake or evil...just not traditional. Thanks so much for your comment. Blessings to you.
Thank you so much. God bless you. ❤
Ewtn religious online have them
What can a medal do, what the blood of Jesus can't?
If ANYTHING that you've had blessed by a priest needs to be parted with, I implore you to never break it, please, just simply burry it and say the Lord's Prayer, Hail Mary and Glory Be; either before or after you've buried it. May God Bless you.
Does it need to have 5 points on the stars, or is 6 ok? Everything else is perfect on mine
Thanks Mom !🤗
My priest give me mine so I’m pretty sure it’s a good metal. It was blessed.
Did anyone see the Golden Orb that floated through the picture on her left side at 1:06 - 1:08…
Angels are always with us. Sent to us by the Heavenly Father & Holy Mother & by the Power of the Holy Spirit in Christ.
Psalms 23:4 “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”
In nomine Patris et Filii et Spiritus Sancti.
Amen.
As for corrupted medals, these are the deeds of those possessed by ill minds & hearts. Pray for them for they know not what they do, & that what they are actually doing is to themselves. They may be likened to wounded animals striking out at anything that they feel threatening, in fear.
This makes me worry that my crucifixes and other blessed objects might be cursed by the people who made them.
One more reason to get them blessed. You can bless them with the sign of the Cross and Holy Water, until you can get them blessed by a Catholic priest. Some churches have one day of the month where everyone brings stuff to get blessed.
I recently bought one on Amazon in gold. I hope it is the right one!
Yes also do a video of the fakes !?!
I am unsure of my Rosary. Do the same rules apply?
This is just the back
Apparently I can’t add a picture.
@@catholiccarolinamom Thank you kindly.
What if there is a star on top and bottom? Is it then fake?
I thanks for the heads up on My medal I just recently got my medal I ordered a stainless steel medal because it doesn't tarnish but when I checked it to see if it was real I noticed that it doesn't have the 1830 at the bottom and it doesn't have the the two hearts on the other side I remember the first time I wore it I got in trouble at work I so now I know and ordred another one very quickly thanks for Your Help !!!
Thanks so much for your comment. If you haven't watched my 2nd video on the Miraculous Medal where I answer numerous questions about the Medal and its design, I highly recommend you do. Blessings to you!
thank you, in inspecting mine, one star is set above the cross..

I have 1 that on the back it has Italy at the bottom? also on the back the stars are arranged more like numbers on a clock..
real or not?
Please watch my Part 2 video if you have not seen it yet. I answer some of these questions.
My medal seems to have everything just no year at the bottom.
thank you for this video i found out that my medal had a star on top its very sad that freemasonry are attacking the medal
Thanks.
Thanks so much for your comment. If you haven't watched my Part 2 Video on the Miraculous Medal, I highly recommend you do. I think you will have your question answered and have a better understanding of what constitutes an authentic medal. Blessings to you!
Where in God's word do we read that Mary was conceived without sin? I cannot find any verse. Can you help me?
Is there a specific knee that bends on Our Mother?
Little floating orb at 1min 7sec come up on your left could be fluff from the seat cover or could be something else, God bless you.
In this particular room, there are always little floating dust bunnies that the light picks up on camera...every.single.time. 🤷🏻♀️ Thanks for your comment! Blessings to you!
Thank you!!!
Everything seems kosher on my miraculous medal, except the 12 stars are slightly offset with one of them being directly above the m cross.
Thanks so much for your comment and support! If you haven't seen the second video in this series, I highly recommend that you do so, as it answers a lot of questions about elements being added or left off from the original instructions from Our Lady. Blessings to you!
Do you have the link to shops that sell authentic Miraculous Medals?

mine looks to be more hand made (it is very, very old as it belonged to my grandfather when he was a child) the oval isn’t a perfect oval, it is an oval and it is perfect but there are very slight evenly spaced dull edges as to give it a very unique look. 🤷♂
It sounds beautiful! Thanks for sharing. ❤️
