"No water? ...Oops!" ... "No coffee!?!? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" (Quickly drives to *another country* to buy coffee!!!) 🤣 ... Thank you for your Norway videos. They have been informative, inspiring, and a lot of fun 👏👏👏👏
And so one door closes and another opens. Sad to leave Norway behind but looking forward to more adventures now in Finland. Love the plug by Tom about Trago! 🤣
I've been at that store in Karesuando many times, its the smallest/biggest shop in the world, got just about everything. Many years ago they also had a parrot inside the shop, just sat there cursing at people, funniest shit ever.
Well now you are in Finland, fantastic! The scenery won’t be anything like Norway but it’s still very interesting that far north. I feel like I’m travelling behind you in a convoy, all from my armchair. You were down to bare-boards, shock horror, no coffee. You have done us proud with a daily vlog, have a rest, we will still be watching for alerts. Keep safe, cheers, Mike👍👍🍷
You will find the Sámi people (such as myself) all over the North Calotte, Sápmi, which include the northern parts of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia, not only Finish and Swedish Lapland 🙌🏻 Lapland is regions in Finland and Sweden, same as Finnmark in Norway (the name means the same “the land where the Sámi people live”) 😄 Love your content, showing different parts of vanlife 🙏🏻
One little tip, with your left hand un click, your side door latch , now use your right hand to roller your door back. This will go a long way in avoiding snapping your cable. Which will mean trying to get the van door open by entering via the rear doors. I drive a work transit, and this will go a long way in avoiding a fix at some inconvenient moment. Be safe out there.👍
Did you know, there is one point where the three countries Norway, Finland and Russia meet. Not only 3 countries meet at this point, but also 3 time zones. When it's 1 o'clock in Norway, it's 2 o'clock in Finland and 3 o'clock in Russia. I think it is the only place in the world that 3 countries and 3 time zones meet at one single point.
You make it all sound so easy, with regard to fixing things, Tom! I am absolutely hopeless and even that job with the fuse would have baffled me. Glad it wasn’t anything too major. Stay safe and look forward to seeing you both tomorrow!
There's a moose, loose, aboot this hoose! Ha ha.... cracking vid guys. Looking forward to Finland. Never new you had to have your lights on all the time.
Sometimes when I go to Oslo to see my friends, we also “pop into Sweden” to go to this mall with one of the biggest chocolate shops I’ve ever seen. xD Excited to see Finland.
I’m doing my a levels at the moment and your daily vids have been keeping me sane for the last few weeks, thank you for giving me something to look forward to every day! Thanks for everything
Grew up in balsfjord ( at the start of the video) and for some reason I still work up there, but now I'm living in trondheim... believe me, the mountan wiew gets old pretty quick, when there's 6-7months of winter. Anyways, been really cool to see the country through the eyes of tourists!
Hi from New Zealand. I moved here from St Austell, Bugle to be exact so am happy to have found some Cornish folk. Especially loved the mention of Trago Mills today! A much missed store. 😀. The like of which is unknown here! Love following your travels, and hearing your accents. Safe happy travels. Gail
Exciting stuff!I wonder if you'll end up bumping into Emma and Louise in their camper. The most memorable problem (well one of several) was when wires from the auxilliary battery under my wife's seat shorted, melted the wires and white smoke started drfting out from under her. You never saw kids being evacuated so fast in all your life! (strangely other drivers were not happy with my fairly emergency stop on a bendy road! Take care and have fun!
Oh thanks for your vlogs that u have been making in norway we are really gonna miss u have a nice stay in finnland its really emotional cause i really see i have lost the people who can show the beautifulness of norway. Thanks love u
yes go to bed dear lol get out my way hahaha what a great job you did of showing us norway what an absolutely stunning country ,be intersting what you do after estonia keep the journey going we love it, all 27,200 of us now 😊 would love to see you both tackle some of the tour mount blanc your both in your element climbing mountains
Amazing how much you done and experienced in the time given. I've drove the same route with 7 other guys, swapping drivers. From southern tip of Norway to Senja & back in just 8 days with some of the same hikes. Love from Norway :) Wish I had more time :D Safe trip!
loving the videos, im setting off to Norway from Cornwall in 8 days, the "trago Mills" reference really made me laugh, best of luck with the rest of you travels.
I was hoping to see you pass by in Sweden... It gives perspective to understand you add "Helsinki" as end point at the entry into FInland from the north. 13h is really a new rally record on that distance! Happy travels!
Nice to see you are going into Finland. I heard and tried the Finnish hot dogs, and they are not good at all, even the dogs didn't eat them, but this is about 15 years ago, hopefully they taste better now, safe trip further into Finland :)
A friend of mine used to drive back and forth from college in Chicago to his parent’s home in Seattle. Highways in South Dakota were flat and straight. He would set his cruise control to 90 mph and stretch both feet out the drivers side window. 😱
I wonder what is actually in the road paint? as you clearly see there's 2 reindeers licking the strips probably right after a road marker has been there.
Fun to follow your trip up Norway😊 I am curious about the wedding your going to in Estonia. Is it Margo and Reia’s wedding? I’ll be watching you closely to see where your going😊 Safe trip😊
Which part of southern Estonia are you heading towards, as my wife is from Moisakula, and over time I have seen many of these regions? Loving the scenery films, hoping one day that my motorhome and wheelchair will make it to Scandinavia too.
Wellcome to Sweden 😀! Its nice to look at your films! I was in Lofoten a few Years Ago, on a motorcykel. We went to northcape then. So its so nice to look at you , then i remember My trip more ! You make nice videos ! 👌👍😉 Take Care ♥️from Sweden !...
The pump stalled because air got into the pipe/tube. A liquid pump cannot generate pressure out of air for lower viscocity. You need to fill the tube manually with liquid, before reconnecting it. Of course i am not an expert. Not my field of knowledge.
Hi there, who is to blame for running out of lifesaver ? Well, without a coffee in the morning the world will not come in peace with me for the day. Did you you really turned immediately right when you came to Skibotn ? Just couple minutes further north and you would have been able to see the Lyngen Alps with the fjord with crystal clear turquoise waters. Would have cost you just 30mins. Ask mama google for pics what you have missed. I wish you a nice and safty trip through Finnland and take care of wildlife crossing especially early mornings or even later in the evenings. CU
Great videos, I love them, thanks. It would be particularly useful if in the text below the video, you could write the full name of the good places you go to and sleep at, and give a decimal map reference for them (like P4N does) so eg Silsand on Senja is 69.244842, 17.952062. Better to write that in the text below the video than as a subtitle in the video itself, as the text would be easier to copy. Thanks!

Nice vlog guys. Nothing like a nice 13 hr drive. Thankfully your leak wasn't your toilet waste. Safe travels

Yeah it’s like the tardis, couldn’t believe how much was stuffed in there. I wish the parrot was still about
Excited for Finland! Thank you for the vicarious life🤪🤣
Finland is beautiful, my fav country. No mountains but endless forests, rivers and lakes. What a magical adventure.
To be fair, Sweden and Norway also has that! It's a shame those areas usually get the back seat to the fjords and mountains.
Don't forget the midges
Coffee would have been top of my shopping list !

Great vid guys. Have fun in Finland. Take care.
Well done Tom for sorting the leak! You two are great!

I am happy to see you got a wee glimpse of Sweden and that you could view it along the route Southbound.
Hannes! What a glorious view across the river. The sun was always shining and the people looked happy. Next stop Estonia!

Love Trago Mills 😂👍🏼
Your having a great journey, we saw the northern lights at Skibotn when staying in Tromso, stay safe 👍
Those blue toilet tablets sometimes cause deterioration of o-rings and seals.
nice

Hahaha, we NEED to get a van with cruise control. Im just picturing over taking someone and seeing a pair off feet hanging out the window 😂
Love this channel. Not far of 30k 😛
great videos guys
Izzy can drive!!!!
I wonder what is actually in the road paint? as you clearly see there's 2 reindeers licking the strips probably right after a road marker has been there.

Bravi ragazzi, è un piacere guardarvi! Quando venite in Toscana?

Unfortunately so, have to get down to Estonia. Will have to return in the future, really want to explore Sweden
You should do a bloopers episode

Hey guys, hope you are enjoying yourselves. I wondered, why has Tom got 172 tattooed on his arm?
Hahaha, it’s actually my flat number from first year at university, a drunken bet on the first night
@@LostInTransit Did wonder. Take care up them hills there.

I was expecting to see the hideously expensive Norwegian gaffer tape save the day?
I did off camera, hahaha
Omg we are staying in that free campsite tonight !! We've just done the same drive as you but from finland to norway
Haha, I actually just saw jits share your story on instagram
@@LostInTransit 🥰🥰🥰
Should Tom's Tattoe say 182?
You're luck it was only a leak and not a gushing
X
Why not sweden?
We just don’t have the time, need to get down to Estonia for my friends wedding
We will have to come back one day
