Definitely get behind the wheel of one at some point for the experience and i know it goes without having to be said but make sure you're in a controlled environment with a trained professional lol. And for the love of god.... do not drive an automatic 🤣

@@iMagnific3nt So when I was OTR, waiting in truck stops for fuel, putting up with 4 wheelers cutting me off mile after mile, going days at a time without a shower, blindside backing in lots that frankly weren't made for trucks, and putting up with rude shippers that would belittle me because I don't know the layout of their lot and had to ask what dock door they wanted me in, when I had to hunker down on the shoulder because there was no visibility on the road for hours, I wasn't actually experiencing the life of a trucker? Boy, guess I just didn't exist from January 2021 to October of last year, or it was all just a fever dream. Funny how not driving a manual truck does that to you. But I guess it beats being a manual flat bedder.

Nick I'm sitting here in my semi right now, I drive a Pete 389 pulling a RGN trailer that currently has a JD 245 Excavator on it and my gross weight is 93k Lbs. And No I don't have skill issues in it lol.

I've got both an auto and a manual 12-speed, and I honestly quite like the Auto. But nothing beats a good old manual shifter. Nothing. XD

Nick is going to learn double clutching without pressing the clutch fully in for the clutch brake or float the gears.
