+Catlin Kallies I was hyped to the WCW Starrcade theme when I working on the heavy bag in weightlifting class of my Senior Year, most likely martial arts (almost like Eric Bischoff), submissions, and wrestling. Even some of my junior high school friends joined in.
Then used 1 mat, pretending it to be a wrestling ring, and stacked 2 more mats as a turnbuckle, that I way I would be able to use high-flying aerial maneuvers and corner grapples.
Yes! Soooo many memories! I forgot the name of the character I think it's E-man. So hard to remember but this sing had me running around the ring going crazy with that weird guy
Being a kid was so much better and easier. I miss the 00s. I miss gathering around my tube TV with my cousins and duking it out from six at night to eight in the morning. Hollywood Hogan was my go to guy. This game was just amazing.
Nice! He has used a few other pieces of music from this game, and a few from WWF Warzone. But he definitely always uses this one for the last Reliving the War segments.
It's really cool to see Wrestling Bios fans who didn't grow up with Revenge appreciating this song. Doesn't matter how you find the song people, we vibing.
Everytime I listen to this theme I always remember the great WCW wrestlers R.I.P to Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Macho Man Randy Savage, Chris Adams, Mortis, Brian Adams, Mean Gene Okuland, Curt Henning, Rick Rude & Bobby Henan
he dummied out all the sounds that would normally play (like the crowd), thereby removing them from the game essentially. then he just recorded the audio with the game like that and boom
Anybody else remember the joy of being able to draw a weapon from the crowd, say, like a baseball bat or a STOP SIGN, and being able to jump in the ring with it? As compared with World Tour, which only let you use weapons outside the ring. I'll never forget the cries of joy and amazement my friends and I had when Bill Goldberg (played by my friend Lucas) dove underneath the ropes into the ring with a giant STOP SIGN. Good times. Memories like that make me cherish my childhood. ;)
Getting home from work with my new WCW NWO Revenge, i go to the bathroom to wash up, my buddy pops the game in, a few minutes later he bursts out "Ohh shit i just KO'd Larry Zbysco with Hollywood Hogan" lol good times...
Thanks to Wrestling Bios for introducing this song to me as he always uses it to introduce the final segments/main events of his Reliving the War series. This song is always hype when I hear it.
Man, the memories with this game and all of 1998 for gaming; This, Half-Life, Metal Gear Solid, Ocarina of Time, MediEvil, Final Fantasy Tactics, Resident Evil 2, Spyro the Dragon, Crash Bandicoot 3, WWF War Zone (I still enjoy it haha), Grim Fandango, Baldur's Gate, Thief, Banjo-Kazooie, Xenogears.... do I need to continue? lol
If there was ever a piece of video game music that encapsulates 90's wrestling games, this is it. I get kinda emotional when I hear this music, I reminds me of a bygone time that will never come back, my childhood that seems a lifetime ago, and more importantly a time when wrestling was fun and the attitude era was in full swing and the Monday night wars dominated wrestling news. Ah the good ol days :(
Gets me so fucking amped every time...Usually I'll be Raven and one of "The Flock," and we standin' up for our own shit once this music starts. AT 1:07, shit's getting real. So many got fucked up this track...THANKS FOR THIS!
I still remember getting this on Christmas day 98', playing it nonstop, then two days later watching Kevin Nash beat Goldberg at Starrcade. This is my favorite tune from the game, because it reminds me of trying to recreate that ppv match repeatedly.
The game that got absolutely everything right. And just when you would think it couldn't get any better Sting would drop from the ceiling during a Battle Royal......
I always thought that this should've been played on the Championship Match, to truly represent the whole "This is it!, this is the final match, win and you'll cement your place in WCW History! GO FOR BROKE!"
This was my favorite arena because of this song on WCW: Revenge. I even remember years later when WWE 12 came out and had the Starracde venue on it I recall playing this song in the background during the matches.
Lots of songs in games are memorable but there are those that you just have to pause the game or let go of the controller and listen. This song is so good. Reminds me of those sports montages in the 90s. Airborne the movie intro type guitar shredding songs.
Why there's no remasters of these titles is beyond me. Would absolutely love to see remasters of these legendary classics from the 90's, I'd buy them no matter the platform.
There is! Search for WCW Feel The Bang, it's a complete mod for No Mercy that turns it into a remastered Revenge (No Mercy was built from Revenge in the first place). Plays on PC using a 64 Emulator and they have improved the graphics.
God bless the Nineties....

Who else got fuckin hype to this theme?

Fortunately, my weightlifting coach didn't mind at all. He allowed it.
Meeeee
Yes! Soooo many memories! I forgot the name of the character I think it's E-man. So hard to remember but this sing had me running around the ring going crazy with that weird guy
RIP Scott Hall!!! ❤️
Easily the best song in WCW/NWO Revenge.
No question
This music and the 2nd theme entrance music was hands down the best...
Its in the Top 100 themes on N64 of all Time.
One of the Best of Wrestling games.
Still miss wCw
The "Souled Out" theme was the best imo...hands down.
*One of the best.... Choose your words more wisely...

“Time for the main events, RAW closes with Sycho Sid vs Mankind, and Nitro ends with an nWo promo.” - Wrestling Bios (probably)
Nice! He has used a few other pieces of music from this game, and a few from WWF Warzone. But he definitely always uses this one for the last Reliving the War segments.
Yesssssss
Reliving the war. The Monday Night wars.
I love that he uses this theme for the main events
@wrestlingbios 😎😎😎
I always loved how the percussion stops at 3:17 as if to indicate a dramatic moment in the fight.
I got this game for Christmas in 1998 & I fell in love with this theme IMMEDIATELY!!!!
I got this game that same year!!! Man!!! This takes me back
@@joshuawatts9996 Good times bro.

WELL SAID💯👍🏿
That moment when you knock your opponent out of the ring and the crowd cheers.
I cut so much high school to play this game with my friends in 1999.....
It's really cool to see Wrestling Bios fans who didn't grow up with Revenge appreciating this song. Doesn't matter how you find the song people, we vibing.

They really pushed the N64's sound as far as they could for this and made the best of it.
Thank you for this non crowd version. Not sure how you did it, but it's amazing. This was my preferred venue simply because of this music, love it.
he dummied out all the sounds that would normally play (like the crowd), thereby removing them from the game essentially. then he just recorded the audio with the game like that and boom

Starcade was always my favorite
Still my only arena of choice.
This track had no business going this hard.
Best spent Saturday nights ever.
We played this so much back in 1998.....
It's better than the wwe2k series, much more fun!!

I don't know why, but I picture Sonic running thru a space-like stage
It do got that sega sonic or shenmue vibes
this is some good bodybuilding gym music. loved this game.
How many Sting vs. Hogan matches did I play listening to this?
Instant nostalgia
Thank you Wrestling Bio's
Lol I instantly think of that Goldberg spear that my dad used to use on me all the time in this game
same but it was me doing it to my dad
Jamiere Ramsey counter it with the guilotine choke he tap eventually lol
I did my dad that way on this game. Lol couldn’t play with Goldberg without spearing someone
Thanks to Wrestling Bios for introducing this song to me as he always uses it to introduce the final segments/main events of his Reliving the War series. This song is always hype when I hear it.

Also love Sonic that you have on there and I also love Amy too but I sonic franchise more than the Mario franchise
I remember hearing a crowd-less version of this tune before, but some of the notes were off. This sounds perfect. Thank you for posting.

Same.
I still run to this song .. donno where my head goes... but where ever it is .. it's in a better place!....
perfect song to convey the energy of late 90s Wrestling and 90s in general
If there was ever a piece of video game music that encapsulates 90's wrestling games, this is it.
I get kinda emotional when I hear this music, I reminds me of a bygone time that will never come back, my childhood that seems a lifetime ago, and more importantly a time when wrestling was fun and the attitude era was in full swing and the Monday night wars dominated wrestling news. you know you were hype when you got this music as a kid lol
this sound like something you hear on a megaman game
Me and my bud would play 40 men battle royals all night, lol he'd grab the stop sign and start swinging saying "STOP! violence is bad!" LMAO
I've always thought of this as like the perfect music to play when fighting like a final boss. It's definitely my favorite song in the whole game.
Vortex Of Abstinence I agree it's one of the best soundtracks to a wrestling game. I can listen to it for hours on end.

While you play as WCW/NWO characters in a WCW/NWO ring ha!
Brings back childhood memories. Man I handed out so many ass whoppins in this game using DDP Sting and Kevin Nash.
I like the music style F-zero X N64
When the music gets to 3:18 and you’re about to set your opponent up for your finisher…
Reminds me of Mario Tennis (64). Love it.
Man this theme!! It's sound so alive!! It would go good with football highlights in ESPN also.
Oh, I never thought of that idea but it would actually go really well with those highlights.

Me too. Just give the hype to beat your opponent on the best sound track on the game✊👊.
edit this over the royal rumble, over the commentary, so all you hear is people fighting, getting slammed, and the crowd reacting.
and every time someone goes out over the top. edit that voice and the bell ringing "eliminated!!!!"
