In my years of playing this game I’ve done a lot of CPU vs CPU comparisons of wrestlers and one who always seems to rise to the top was Jekel from EWF due to his toughness and submissions. I carried Jekel’s legacy on into other AKI wrestling games building up his gimmick. His finishing combo that was unbeatable was a belly to back German suplex off the ropes where you have your legs wrapped in the ropes. This move pulls you back up to the top rope after performing it setting up the next super into a flying elbow and then have enough time for a submission finisher. It was OP but so was Jekel. Lol. Wasn’t ever really sure who he was based off of though. See what happens when you put anyone from the game against Jekel in a CPU vs CPU match.

It's funny how Eric Bischoff doesn't have any 'finishers' in this game, because he's not a wrestler. Always appreciated that little attention to detail.
They easily could have given him some random move for his Special, but like you say they didn't and kept his moves realistic to him. Made him feel different because of it, too.
He has two special diving attacks off the turnbuckle (otherwise, he just taunts). But that’s it. That being said, pressing strong grapple gives Bischoff a roundhouse kick that has KO potential.

Yeah that's a different la parka
@@WrestlingVideoGames the ORIGINAL La Parka, LA Park, is still alive, right??
6:38 Ming Chee was my favorite character
Can anybody explain EWF or DAW???
And I low key loved AKI man because I think he had the longest jump range in the game haha
They are fictional wrestlers with move sets based on real Japanese wrestlers. The previous game, World Tour, had guys that looked like the Japanese wrestlers and just changed the names, but in this one they changed the looks too, leaving just the real wrestlers’ moves.
@@JMaxwell85 I was gonna say the same thing bc EWF AND DAW Rosters are unlicensed characters but THEY ARE real pro-wrestlers.
If I'm not mistaken, Han Zo Man is The Legendary Hayabusa R.I.P, Shogun is AJPW Legend Kawada and Jekel is The Legendary DR. Death Steve Williams R.I.P.
Is Dake Ken FMW Legend Onita?!?
Lmk which I'm right or wrong about, if you know.
Can you have a more complete roster?
We couldn’t create wrestlers but I edited my Kevin Nash to look like undertaker as well as changed it’s name ....lol
Yeah, CAW wasn't available in WCW/nWo Revenge unfortunately.
I hated how they made ultimo dragon look fat
Haha I always said that myself
Omg you are so right, they gave him that little gut!
He looked fat in this game too?
I forgot. I know he looked like a fat f___ in WCW vs The World on Playstation though.
Holy shit. I forgot all about the EWF and DAW rosters
Unlicensed characters, but based on real pro-wrestlers.
Remember in the game you can. Beat up the managers like giving the dusty a diamond cutter or a Jack hammer to onho
They had it coming!!
*"He shouldn't have got involved!!.."*

It's the Yetaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! 2:01
Yessir!! AKA Ron Studd.
Fun fact : before Big John Studd passed away, there was talk of a Tag-Team featuring him and a young partner, the young partner, was Ron Reese.
R.I.P. Big John Studd
Alex Wright 6'1? lol, dude was at least 6'3.
Maybe him and Buff Bagwell's heights were confused in the making of the game?
@@PontFlair I wouldn't be too surprised. Yuji Nagata's name was spelled "Yugi Nagata". It's time to duel!
Who is Dr. Frank supposed to be IRL?
Good question. And good eye. The EWF and DAW Rosters are real life pro-wrestlers.

You're probably right.
R.I.P. Anvil and Kevin Greene
I think Kevin Greene had some potential as a pro-wrestler to be honest.
Brickowski is a monster.
I wonder who he is?
He's an unlicensed character, but, based on a real pro-wrestler.

NJPW Legend
Wait why isn't the four horseman in this but the other stables are?
They didn't have the complete 4 Horsemen.
No Ric Flair and Arn Anderson on the game.
the best wrestling game ever and the only one to really have fun with.
It can be emulated on the Xbox Series X/S
@@Retro_Gamer_89 said this to you on another thread, I'd LOVE to see a how-to. It'd be awesome to play this game again.
To the post :
Highly debatable. I disagree. My top 2 are WWF SD-HCTP and WWF No Mercy.
That said, I 💯% respect your opinion. I LOVED WCW/nWo Revenge, it's an All-Time favorite of mine.
Who did yall edit?
Dr. Frank for the win!!!
He's a unlicensed character, but, he's based on a real pro-wrestler.
I wonder who he really is?
Got it on my Xbox Series X 💪

Anyone know where I can see all the alternate attires ?
Kim Chee was weirdly one of the best characters 😂😂
Kim CHee was a beast in this game
And Han Zo Mon
⬆️⬆️⬆️
Unlicensed characters. But BOTH of these guys mentioned are real pro-wrestlers.

R.I.P Hayabusa
Couldn't you play as the Truck Driver from the intro with a Gameshark?
yes but you would have to do a texture to each body part with a certain person moves
What a lineup compared to what wwe has today. These were the days
Based off of Dr. Death Steve Williams
@@gypsyauh2o thanks. After I posted this, I did do some research and went down a Doctor Death rabbit hole. Never new how big of a push they tried to give him.
@@gypsyauh2o yes he was!! I just commented this in another thread on this video.
R.I.P. Doc
@@Panyc333 he was big-time.
He was more of a star in UWF/Mid-South than anywhere else in the U.S.
That said, in Japan, he was a HUGE STAR. An AJPW LEGEND!! And former Triple Crown Champion.
That's great!!
I didn't remember that detail.
ATM Eric couldn't buy a Finisher LOL
