EXPOSURE VISIT TO PRE-INCUBATION UNIT

The IIC unit of NCOPS organized an enlightening exposure visit to the AICTE idea lab- preincubation unit at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, NMIT, Bangalore. Dr. Harish Kumar L, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, captivated students with an engaging task: innovating ideas for a bottle, sparking their creativity. Students enthusiastically presented concepts like incorporating utilitarian elements and organoleptic properties like flavour enhancements. Dr. Harish Kumar L then delved into the intricacies of the innovation process, emphasizing key stages such as emphasis, definition, ideation, prototype development, and testing. The practical application of these concepts was vividly demonstrated through a showcase of 3D printers, laser cutting machines, wood cutting CNC machines, further fueling the students' creativity. Moreover, the visit provided students with insights into business incubation, illustrating how innovative ideas can evolve into successful ventures. Guided by Dr. Harish Kumar L, the visit left students motivated and empowered to explore their creative potential, with a deeper understanding of the essence of innovation and implementation.
