Zootopia is a GREAT way of showing racism. Sure, the implication that a certain group of people in the past can be equated to predators is a tad blasé, but even despite that awkward situation, within the confines of the movie, racism and its negative effects are still shown. People's own biases, the impact on a group of people when those biases get out of hand, the avoidance and reluctance to talk about it - for a kids movie, it's pretty damn impressive.
When I first saw Zootopia and I saw Nick with the little fennec fox, I was immediately suspicious as I know that breed of fox is supposed to be small, so I thought "that's a child? But he's the size of an adult fennec fox" and I was happy I was correct.

A movie similar to this one (animals living in a city) is Cats Don’t Dance 💖 it’s about a cat who goes to 1950s Hollywood to try and become an actor but he discovers that animals aren’t treated as well as humans so he has to fight to prove that animals can perform and entertain just as well as people (a lot of racial commentary just like Zootopia) it’s like if Zootopia were a musical about Hollywood instead of a buddy cop mystery lol
